HT1351 I filmed videos with my ipod and i tried to put it on my windows computer but they wont show up. How do i get the videos to show up on the computer so i can edit them.
I need help asap so i can put the vids on my computer so i can delete them off my ipod.

While the new MacbookPro with retina display and other systems are essential for various computing tasks, referencing and reading books without shifting to another device is a major purchasing and productivity factor. I can currently do this with Amazon, Google, VitalSource, and Nook books. The ability to seamlessly move between reading books on an iOS device, MacOS computer, or within a Web browser and have integrated highlighting, notes, social sharing and other features sync between all three is highly desirable. Without this option, I will generally need to purchase books and other content from these sources or directly from the publishers, but not Apple.

My imac won't startup past the spinning gear and my apple keyboard is wireless but it won't connect, how do I fix the problem so I can get into safe mode?
Can anybody help me on this issue? I have already tried to replace the batteries but since the computer won't get past the spinning wheel of death then the keyboard won't connect.Please follow Apple's advice in http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570. If you need to get your hands on a wired USB keyboard, even a PC one will work fine.
Do not follow the previous poster's advice, that option is a "last chance" option. OS X is stable and in most cases a reinstall is never needed. Follow the directions in Apple's letter. -

Copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the music folder) from your old computer to your new one, using one of the methods outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527.

Have imported video into audition but how do I get the audio to snap after editing?
Just to explain, I have imported a timeline from Premiere into Audition CC. I have one full piece of video and one piece of audio but need to clean up the audio. What I'm trying to do is edit the audio and have it snap to the piece of audio to the left as you would do normally. I will then concern myself with cutaways etc to mask the video when back in premiere. My question is how do I get the audio and video to snap in sync with my audio edits( Can't seem to get it to snap at all at the moment)
CheersThe video in Audition is just a guide and can't be edited. So if you cut out chunks of the audio it will no longer be in sync with the video if you try and join the audio together.
When you say that you are cleaning up the audio what do you need to do to it in order to clean it? If it is just a case of muted unwanted parts of the audio that can be done in Multitrack by using the Volume envelopes to mute the audio at appropriate places without cutting anything out so it won't lose sync. -

You should be able to copy iTunes purchases over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. For music from other sources (e.g. copied from CDs) you will need a third-party program to copy them back from your iPad - there are some listed half-way down this page which should work : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

I have hundreds of photos on my computer but when I click on the photo all that comes up is a gray screen with with an exclamation mark.

I am having a problem with email. I can receive and send, but when I delete, the deleted messages return into either Trash or Bin or both whether or not I have deleted them from my PC.
The only way I can get rid of them permanently, is to go into my area of my providers site(Sky) and empty all of the boxes there. I imagine it's a setting, please advise.For IMAP mail only.

I cannot get the genius mixes on my laptop to match those on my ipod touch no matter how many time I sync.
I'd love to be able to update the genius mixes on my ipod as they are quite old now.

That should work.
You'd just have to forward the messages manually, one by one, as far as I know (there may be a way to script it but I'm not too keen on AppleScript).

I have iWork '09. How do I get the new version? Can't find it in the App Store...
Trying to update to the newest version of keynote so I can edit my presentations on my iPad. It keeps telling me to update. When I do, it says its the most update version, but its actually not.
Using the latest version of Keynote 6.1 has the following conditions:
it only runs in Mavericks, it wont run on an earlier OS
it is not an update but a new application therefore it is a paid upgrade from the Mac App Store
it is available as a free download if you purchased a Mac from October 2013 onwards, if your Mac is older it is a paid for download
If iWork 09 is installed when you obtain Keynote 6.1 the older applications are still installed allowing the two versions to be used for the diffent file types used. Best practice currently is to use 5.3 to oen those files and 6.1 to create new files.
