By calling iPod tech support while you are under warranty.  You also have 14 days to return it w/no questions asked for a replacement or your $$$ back.

  • Trying to downLoad CS4 trial to sort problems but cant even get THAT working! Help please?

Hello again ever one.....Futher to yesterday's post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/462839?tstart=0
I STILL cannot get DW 8 to work correctly, and after exhausting every other avenue, I though I would try to down load the CS4 trial! I have followed all the instruction but I cant even get that to down load correctly!!
    Here is the problem...
I have waited for both the exe and 7z files to fully down load but when I double click the exe file (as per instructions) I get this message
I then fiddled with it a bit more.. not quite sure what I did, have have down loaded it again! I got a message that windows didnt know which programe had created it ... etc... not knowing what to do I navigated to DW 8... and NOW i get this message...
ANY help very much needed and welcomed!

Well, "Access denied". You either have a permissions problem, your temporary directories are full or the drive is in an unhealthy state otherwise. Log in as administrator, run CCleaner, defragment the drive, check the directory privileges for your other user...

  • I forgot the password of my restrictions and i cant even back up my ipod becuz i fotgot the password what can i do ?

i forgot the password of my restrictions and i cant even back up my ipod becuz i fotgot the password what can i do ?

    Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode
    - Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    - If you are up to file manipulation see:
How to reset forgotten Restrictions...: Apple Support Communities
What do you mean by this: " i cant even back up my ipod becuz i fotgot the password"? Password for what?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

  • Windows not recognizing that my ipod is connected

Right now im annoyed!! What happened is this! I got a ipon nano for christmas and installed all the software on my mums computer at home, the ipod worked fine. I returned to my house after xmas and installed the software again, and everytime i instert my wire nothing happens, the screen on my ipod doesnt change and itunes says that no ipod is connected. I tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling, still didnt work, so then tried installing updater, but asked me to connect ipod to update, still didnt recognize my ipod. I read through all of my leaflets and noticed that it said that ipod can onloy be installed on any one computer or apple device at anytime?
So yesterday i went into the apple store, and they played around with my wire as they thought it might be the problem, they were NO help at all, just told me it worked and theres and to go home and try it, needles to say it didnt work, ive just tried my wire in my friends laptop who is an ipod shuffle and it worked fine. Now what the **** is going on?? its utterly disgraceful that these things cost so much and i cant use it!

Okay, first, lets try putting the iPod into Disk Mode then it should be recognized by the computer. Does it say "Do Not Disconnect" on the iPod when it's connected?

  • My ipod 5th gen ios 7.0.6 crashed and keeps going from the apple logo, going to a black screen, back to the apple logo, then back to the black screen and so on. Furthermore, my laptop doesn't recognise that the iPod is connected. What do I do?

Please help me out as this is very irritating. This has been happening for the last 20-30 minutes. It had roughly half battery left.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • The PC that my ipod was connected crashed and i wanted to switch it to my laptop now..the question is will i lose all my pictures and notes from my ipod if i switch PC's or is there a way to make it stay since i have icloud backup on my ipod.

hi...the pc that my ipod was connected crashed and i wanted to switch it to my laptop now..the question is will i lose all my pictures and songs from my ipod if i switch PC's or is there a way to make it stay since u have icloud backup on my ipod. i really dont want to lose my pictures so plz let me know if there is a way...thank you

The iCloud backup does not include non-Tunes purchased music and photos that were synced to the iPod. The iCloud backup does not also included a few other things included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes.
The iPod backup that iTunes makes does also not included non-iTunes purchases and photos synced to the iPod.
free programs like iFunBox with copy non-iTunes purchased music and some other things from iPod to computer.  A paid program like TouchCopy is needed to copy photos synced to the iPod to a computer.

  • HT201413 When connecting iPod Nano, getting message that "an ipod is connected but cannot be identified properly".

When I connect my iPod Nano to the same installation of iTunes that we use for my wife's iPod Classic I am getting the message that "an iPod is connected but cannot be properly identified".  This has worked before and I can connect my wife's iPod Classic and synch with no problems.  I have tried resetting the Nano but that did not fix it.  I am running Windows Vista.  Has anyone else had this problem?

I fixed it.  In itunes click help, run diagnostics, run tests, the test comes to ipod and says it is not running correctly so click the HELP and follow the instructions to the end.  Mine was fixed after i restarted computer!!!

  • ITunes doesn't detect that my iPod is connected

I plugged my iPod touch in today so I could sync it, and the USB found sound was played, followed by a USB error sound. iTunes did not recognise that my iPod was connected and would not sync it.
I looked in Device Manager and there was an exclamation mark over Apple iPod, and the following message was displayed:
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
I don't know why this is happening, as I successfully synced my iPod yesterday with no issues.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks

I am having this same problem. I have been able to sync before, but now when I attach my ipod, itunes does not recognize it. The PC thinks it's another drive letter, and itunes never shows it in the list on the left.
Any ideas how to correct this?
