HT1351 Songs won't sync properly and I don't know how to fix it. Help!

I keep trying to sync my music to my iPhone but some of the songs aren't uploading properly and when trying to listen to them, my phone will just skip over them and they won't play. When looking at the songs on my playlists they show up as gray and there is a red square with a circle around it like it is syncing. Also iTunes won't sync any of my playlists anymore even though it says, on my iTunes account, that they are uploaded to my phone. What should I do?

I have the same issue: my playlists are not showing up on my iphone. The old playlist are there and the music is there but the playlists will not update. I'm hoping someone has an answer?

Essentialy when i try to sync my Iphone with Itunes, i get a sync that lasts about 4 seconds and gose through the steps:
Waiting for sync to start step 1/4
Prepaireing to sync step 2/4
Determining trackto sync 3/4
Waiting for changes to be applied 4/4
When i view the iphone through i tunes i can see the songs their but i cant play them and they dont take up any space on memory. Likewise when i view the music app on my Iphone its empty and says i have no media.
I have tried everything i can think of to fix this problem includeing :
Reinstalling Itunes and Apple Moblie Device Driver
Restoreing the Iphone from back up and atempting to sync
Syncing over wifi
Restarting the Iphone and Computer
I am currently running windos 8 os with the latest version of Itunes but was still getting thease problems on windows 7.

OS X and iOS versions are Not compatible with Windows 8 yet.

You didn't indicate if it ever worked. If it NEVER did, the problem could be caused by a firewall in the router. For reasons that I do not understand, that will affect IOS (iPod/iPad) communication but will not affect computers or other devices.
You will need administrative access to the router. If a firewall is present, turn it off and test the iPod again. If it works, turn the firewall back on but weaken it a notch and test the iPod again. Repeat as required.

This may occur if you are connected to the Internet and iTunes is trying to connect to the iTunes Store and fails for some unknown reason.
Try this:
Quit iTunes and disconnect completely from the Internet.
IF you have an iPhone (iPod etc), open iTunes. Sync the device.
Re-enable your Internet connection.
Quit iTunes.
Open iTunes again.
If this does not work, try completely uninstalling iTunes, then reinstall it according to these instructions:

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Close out of the mail app, then double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check your email again.

You can try to create a new Boolean pref with the name network.manage-offline-status and set the value to false. 
Right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean pref.

I erased ical and i don't know how to fix it, it still apears there but i erased the software.. what do I do?

What happened to me was that when I got my imac everything was workin perfecty, but two months later I erased the ICAL software by mistake. Now I can't open it because it says that I don't have the software or I don't know what it is talking about. But the strange thing is that the app still appears in my computer. Please help!

Go to Start -- Accessories -- Command Prompt, make right click and choose run as administrator
Type this command : netsh winsock reset
then restart your computer, everything should be ok after this. Good Luck.

My tabs bar and tabs have all turned HUGE and I don't know how to fix it?

I have just opened the mozilla firefox 4 beta and all my tabs have turned really big. I've tried restarting my computer but it's still the same. Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this problem without uninstalling firefox. Thanks.
By the way, I was fiddling about with the new "group your tabs" feature before this happened.

Sounds like you have to reset your display settings. Go to your control panel under 'my computer', go to 'display' and check your 'appearance' and 'settings'.
I really can't think of anything else that would cause this. Hope this helps.
