I just got my laptop stolen and I need help finding the serial number. The only thing I have is my applecare protection plan. Is there anything I can do to recover my serial number?

I installed stand-alone lightroom.
I brought it about a year ago or less.
My Mac crash so, I need to reinstall it. But this time I have creative cloud installed.
The serial number just does not work.

    I spent 3 hours on the phone with Adobe yesterday before finally finding the problem. I was trying to use aamee with the Master collection DVD. I tried to first create a trial version and it would not accept the serial number. After many attempts, the tech realized we needed the download version for it to work. Downloaded the trial, made a package of it, created the serialization file and used the command at each user's terminal (couldn't get it to work from ARD). After 3 days, 3 hours seeking a solution, it would have been faster to enter the login and serial number at each computer.

    I have the same problem. We purchased creative cloud for teams on Friday. Now it is Monday. When I first started the apps I did not get any screen where it said that I was in trial mode. When I started the apps a second time the trial mode screen came up. I signed up but then it askes for a serial number. I already followed the steps from http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/trial--1-launch.html but I got stuck at step 4. I cannot click deactivate because it is in grey.
    I upgraded from CS4 Standard. I tried we deactivating those programs but that did not work either.
    The computer is Windows 7 Professional
    Can someone help me?

    As you mentioned that you have Creative Cloud for Team Subscription, did you send an invitation to yourself from the Admin Console(Creative.adobe.com) and accepted the same. If yes then please try updating AAM from the below mentioned link and try launching the software again.

    Also please check for any entries in Host file in this location
    Run-drivers-etc-hosts. Please open hosts file using notepad and if you find any Adobe entries then run this Microsoft fix it to fix the issue.

    Sorry to hear about your MacBook.  I found a couple of resources that might help with locating the serial number for your MacBook. 
    If you registered yoru MacBook when you purchased it, you can view the serial number in the Support Profile of the Apple ID you registered it to:
    Although Apple does not have a process to track or flag lost or stolen product, you can use My Support Profile to find a list of serial numbers that have been purchased or registered with your Apple ID.
    Go to My Support Profile*.
    Sign in with your Apple ID.
    View your purchases in "My Products".

  • HT1366 My iMac has been stolen. Can I find out its Ethernet ID if all I got is the Mac serial number? Will this eventually help me track it down?

    Is there a way to track down a stolen imac without a findmymac app in it?
    My old imac was recently stolen and all I have is the serial number. I was told that with the  ethernet  ID I could possibly track it down once it connects back to internet. unfortunatedlyI don`t have this ID number. All I gave is the serial number. I would like to know if I can get the ethernet ID through it?

    The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
    Now-  "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

    If you registered it in https://supportprofile.apple.com/ you can log in there with your Apple ID and find its serial number.

  • Serial number every login

    I bought my PSE 12 in december 2013 and then i made the registration with the serial number.
    Now something strange happens. Every time i open my PSE i have to give the serial numer again and i also get a message to log in.
    I do so and i can open my PSE.
    Something must be wrong.

    I don't really understand the last part of your last post, but you click on Sign In and enter the adobe ID you created when installing or the first time you used PSE and your password for that adobe account. Then just leave it alone after that. The only time you would sign out is if you want to uninstall PSE and need to deactivate it.

  • HT1366 On Apple Support - I put in my serial number, but it says it's not valid. Now what?

    I want to upgrade to Mountain Lion. I have 10.5.8 OS X now. The Software Update says there are no updates.But I need to update to the next level in order to be able to download Mountain Lion.
    So I go to Apple Support - they ask for my serial number - i type it in - it says "invalid".
    So now what? I'm stuck and Apple Support won't talk to me without the serial number.
    AARRGGGH.

    There has never been a free upgrade from 10.5 to 10.6 Snow Leopard, so Software Update is reporting the correct information. Snow Leopard was a $30 upgrade, which you may be able to still get by calling Apple, in the US, at 1-800-MY-APPLE. Ask if it's still available from the legacy products list. Since Mountain Lion was released, it's been pulled off the Apple online store site. Or check Amazon or hardcoremac.com.

  • "Your Adobe Photoshop user name, organization or serial number is missing or invalid"

    My computer had a new HD and thus I had to reinstall my CS, but activation failed since it has been taken down.
    So I was directed to a page where I downloaded and installed another CS including the serial #.
    After installation, when I try to start it, I get the above message and then Photoshop quits.
    I was directed to this place after login with my Adobe Id:
    Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products
    where I downloaded the english CS2 for Windows version.
    The funny thing is that the PS splash screen has all the information and it didn't complain when I installed and entered the serial number!?
    I'm on Win7 if that's important.

  • No Serial Number. No Re-Install. Help!

    I purchased the CC bundle w/photoshop and lightroom. PS is fine. Lightroom was demanding a serial number. I spent FOUR hours with Chat...three supervisors. (Whoever decided that was a good idea should spend hell in an elevator). I ended up uninstalling lightroom, but the option to reinstall isn't available. Help.

  • My Lightroom 5 upgrade serial number not showing up on My Products page; chat support useless

    I purchased a Lightroom 5 upgrade license on July 25th.  I didn't receive a confirmation email but my serial number was displayed on the order summary page after purchase.  I tried registering the serial number repeatedly through the My Products page but for some reason the serial number wasn't showing up, even though the registration process reported a successful result.  Furthermore, Adobe products bought from the Adobe store should automatically be registered according to Adobe's web site.  Apparently this must have failed.  I need to reinstall Lightroom 5 but the serial number is still not showing up on the My Products page.  I just spent an extremely frustrating hour with Adobe "Live" chat who did nothing but send me in circles and repeat the same canned responses over and over again.
    I'm currently on hold with "phone support" but I'm not optimistic as I've been on hold for 28 minutes.  The only other support option was a link to this forum, hence this post.  Hopefully someone from Adobe can retrieve my serial number and contact me.  Failing this my only other option will be to contact VISA and open a claim.

    OK, I was able to recover my previous system's image and thankfully it appears you can get the serial number from Help->System Info.  I attempted to register the serial number again via the My Products page and while it indicated that the registration was successful, we'll see.  At least I should be able to install LR5 on my new machine now.
    Edit:  I also just discovered that the serial number is listed under My Orders, but not under My Products.  Weird.  In my defence , I never thought to check My Order history because I never received a confirmation email and the order wasn't listed after purchase...even as late as mid-August (when I last checked.)  Very strange but it's all good now.
    Edit #2: OK now I just feel silly.  I just received an email from Naveen with an actual support case AND the correct serial number.  So, I stand corrected.  The Live Chat process still felt incredibly long with some seemingly canned/automated responses but, in all fairness, he did get back to me.  Thank goodness I washed both feet today...

    I am trying to find the serial number that is required by itunes for troubleshooting. But the trouble is, I don't know what it is.

    Not sure why your post ended up in the Apple Server section but here goes.
    By default your music should be located in one of the following locations
    which you can see by clicking on My Computer
    Windows XP - C:\ - Documents & Settings - Username (your name or your login name) - My Music - iTunes
    Windows Vista/7 - C:\ - Users - Username - My Music - iTunes
    it's unlikely your music has been wiped and more likely that iTunes can't find the library file that tells it what music is in your collection and where it's located. This can happen if you renamed or moved one of the folders above to something/somewhere else. Another idea is to do a search and look for files in a format used by iTunes such as .mp3 or .aac which might show you where they are.

    My 3.5 yr Macbook Pro was stolen and I didn't record the serial number.  I need it for the police.  Who can I contact at Apple to see if they have my number?  I financed the computer through Apple.
    Is there some kind of internal tracking device in the MacPro that can lead me (the police) to finding it?  I did not install any tracking device on it, but didn't know if it came with one already built in- like the Iphones have.
    Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
    I'm Desperate and am sick that I didn't record it in advance.

    If you registered your computer with Apple & setup a support profile, you can login & retrieve your SN there. If you didn't do such, you can try calling AppleCare.
    If you didn't setup Find My Mac or similar before your computer was stolen, there is no way to track it. Change all of your passwords, report the loss to the police & your insurance company.

    I'am a Adobe CC for photographer subscriber and I have activated the new Lightroom CC on my desktop computer and one of my laptops. Yesterday, I redeem a Lightroom 6 serial number from Leica product purchasing.
    When I install lightroom 6 on my another laptop, the installer asked me to login using my Adobe ID to which my subscription bundled. I could not find a place to input the serial number and after I logged in, it activated as Lightroom CC but not Lightroom 6.
