HT1369 dO I HAVE TO RUN THE WIFI CONFIGUATION BEFORE SYNCING MY IPAD TO ITUNES ON THE PC?

I cannot setup my wifi connection at my home. Therefore instillation cannot complete. Does that mean i cant sync it with my pc.

What specifically are you trying to accomplish?
Syncing an iPhone to a computer does not require a Wi-Fi or any Internet connection for that matter.

Retail Leopard disc looks like this;
(The disc itself has the same logo). If the one you've got is grey it simply won't work.
Given the retail and second hand prices of Leopard (usually some on Amazon MP), you'll probably find it cheaper to go directly to Snow Leopard, although there could be software updates and printer driver problems that could nullify the difference.

I did not sync my iPad to iTunes to my PC. Now my iPad is disabled because I forgot my passcode when I installed iOS 7 to it.
Before anyone cuts and pastes the info from Apple support in response to this, I have already tried those steps. iTunes simply states that it cannot do anything since the iPad is locked with a passcode. I cannot access iCloud to use that specific advice as iCloud will not let me sign in; a message keeps coming up reading that there is an error with the server. Remote Swipe? Not sure. It is three hours later, and I am no further.
What else can I do? I never had a passcode set up when I first got my iPad. I would have bypassed this with the installation of iOS 7 if I had known about this.

If it's not a computer that it's been synced to then do you have a backup on iCloud that you could then restore from ? Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the items are still in the store, you may be able to re-download some/all of your purchases via the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps, and the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

No. The ipad/iphone are not storage/backup devices. They simply mirror the selected content from the computer to which they are synced. If you sync to another computer, the current data will be erased and replaced with content from the new computer.
You copy everything form your old comuter, or your backiup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

You and the iPad can function with the Remote App from across the room, or in another room.
However, your stereo system has to have a way to communicate or connect with the computer. Unless it has some kind of wifi connector or has Bluetooth, I don't see how you can do this.
There is no app or software to resolve this. You need a way for the stereo to connect.

I don't think I have made myself clear... I have recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to a 5 so everything was set up to sync with no problems at all. I transferred everything across to my new device by iCloud and everything appears as it was on my old device including on the face of it my music library. However, I cannot play all of the songs in fact the majority! When at home I can access the entire library via home sharing but that is no use away from the house. I never had this problem with iPhone 4 and although I am automatically syncing the device to iTunes it is not working. If I try to play songs via the device it skips until it finds a song that cAn be played and if I try and play the device via the laptop/iTunes an ! Type signal appears and I cannot play the song!
Any ideas re solutions would be appreciated???

First I would just try deleting the SCInfo folder, restart your computer, open itunes and see if you are still getting the error, at that point if you are it is a permissions error with the computer specificaly and not in itunes.

Do I have to run the OS (10.6.3) in 64 bit in order to get full 64 bit benefits of PS CS5?

I keep reading about the benefits of running PS in 64 bit, especially for very large files (which is most of my work). I was under the impression that applications can only use more than ~ 3GB of memory if the operating system is running in 64 bit mode. However I still run mine (Mac OS 10.6.3) in 32 bit (the default mode) and still, in the "Performance" preference panel of PS I can allocate my entire amount of RAM (14GB) for Memory Usage.
Am I getting the full benefits of 64 bit or do I have to run my OS in 64 bit?

By default Photoshop runs in 64 bit mode. If you want to switch between 32 and 64 bit then you would need to select Applications\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Adobe Photoshop CS5.app and then press Cmd + I, or click "Get-Info" from File menu.
In the Info panel, there would be a checkbox Open in 32 bit mode. Click that and Relaunch Photoshop. It will then run in 32 bit mode. Do reverse(Uncheck that) to run Photoshop in 64 bit mode.
