HT1369 I downloaded iTunes and lost sound from Samsung monitor. I had to reinstall iTunes because of errors. What happened. Do I have hire someone to fix this? I am sooooo bummed. I have tried for the last hour to fix.

It is a Samsung F480.On three separate occasions I have rang customer services and have been assured they would sort it in a couple of weeks. No further communication was received each time.Then I tried our local EE shop in town. I dispute that.Anyway I resubmitted my request, again after 10 days I have another text my IMEI number is not correct.I have obtained the IMEI number again by dialing *#06# how do I submit it to my application to unlock?There is no way I can find to do this. I have given up with customer service.Forgot to mention I have the required £8.99 in credit to pay for unlocking.Please help.
Hi James B,Thank you so much for your reply, after 3 months of silence I appreciate someone trying to help.I have contacted customer service again to check my IMEI number on record and it was the same one I found on my phone.The customer service rep was very sympathetic and (again) assured me he would personally sort it out.I accepted his assurance (again) because I am at a loss to do otherwise.However one thing which was differenr this time. A lady rang back within 5 minutes asking if I was happy with the service. I had to say I was reserving judgement. Again she assured me she would be in touch in a couple of days.Hopefully this time I may get a result. Hi, I have just tried to update the iPhone software and it appears to be updating but the screen on my phone has had the same picture of the apple and its at the same spot of loading (about 3 quarters) for the last HOUR!! help!

Since the title of your post says " ... invalid use rid or password ...", I suspect the issue is some illegal mix of blanks and/or special characters (e.g., punctuation) in either your user ID, password, or both.
Be very careful you are following the rules for what constitutes a legal user name and a legal password. -
I created a book on iPhoto. I click on the buy button, and I get a message that says Connecting with a moving blue striped rectangle. I am connected to the internet and I have made books before without any problems. I have tried for the past two weeks at various times and I get this same message each time. Any ideas about what is going on?
First confirm that you can create a PDF file of your book as described in this Apple document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it. Post back with the results.

Usually about 20 seconds of holding Home button. If the screen is black this is DFU Mode. Then click Restore button of iTunes. -
after an update my iPhone 4 has frozen with just the apple screen visible. I have tried connecting to iTunes but now iTunes isn't locating my iPhone. I have tried reseting the phone several times and that isn't working. Any ideas?

My Ipod touch 8gb will not turn back on no matter what i do i have tried just the power button, the power button and home button, and connecting it to the computer and the battery wasn't close to being dead non of them work what do i do?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am unable to download itunes songs purchase on my iphone. I have recieve a download error that says tap to retry. I do that and keep receiving the same error. I have read some responses to try to pause the download once it is downloading and also to restart the phone, but neither have worked for me,

Okay, now we are getting somewhere. With a Core2Duo you can upgrade to at least Snow Leopard, and you will need Snow Leopard at least if you want to upgrade further.
1) Make sure your computer meets Snow Leopard technical specifications - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575 This mostly means making sure it is an Intel Mac (yours is) and has at least 1GB RAM (more is recommended). To check RAM, go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Now continue to "More Info...". It should say you have at least 1GB of "memory".
2) Apple no longer carries 10.6 in its stores or online. Telephone Apple to purchase a Snow Leopard disc. In the USA: (800) 676-2775 (contact information for other countries: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57)
Alternatively you can buy from online retailers but anticipate paying much more than the original price which is the price still charged by Apple
3) Backing up your computer before upgrading is always a good idea.
4) After installing from the DVD, update your Snow Leopard installation using Software Update or manually downloading and installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v.1.1 - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

I thought that bying Mac OS X Mountain Lion was enough for all my 3 computers ! It runs for 2 of them, but I can't download it anymore for my last computer : does it mean that it's ok for 2 computers only ? Do I have to by it again for my last computer ? Have seen this for the past few years and it has finally hit my laptop. I downloaded and installed the newest version of iTunes and now my DVD/CD drive has not only stopped working, but is completely disappeared. I have tried all suggestions that I could find and it is gone.

I have been trying to email someone some photos (only 10) from iPhoto. That darn pop-up window keeps popping up, telling me to check my email server, etc. I have NO idea what to do. It's just a matter of giving iPhoto your email reader.
Quit iPhoto if it's open.
Open the Mac Mail app.
From the Mail menu bar click Mail > Preferences then select the General tab.
Select your mail accoun tfrom the: Default email reader pop up menu.
Relaunch iPhoto.
Select a photo then go to the iPhoto menu bar click Share > Email
