HT1369 My I pad doesnt connect with my laptop

My I pad doesnt connect with my laptop. the note says to reinstall itunes with the 64 bit version (which i have)

Try one or more of the following:
> Restart Your Computer
> Uninstall & Reinstall iTunes
> Reset your iPad (won't erase everything)
> Go to My Computer (Windows XP) or Computer (Windows Vista & 7) and see if your iPad shows
> Restore the iPad Completely (will erase everything)
> Make sure the iOS firmware & iTunes is up to date.
Did you received any errors when connecting to your computer or doesn't your iPad connect at all.

    You don't supply much info other than your machine is old, so here is some info for you to check thru.
    Before doing anything you should have a back up, preferably 2, in the event something goes wrong.
    You would have to start by upgrading to Snow Leopard, you would need to buy the disk for about $20 here  http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard  
    Check the the requirements to see if your machine meets them.
    You would then need to run the 10.6.8 v1.1 combo update to get it to 10.6.8 Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
    You can then access the APP STORE and possibly upgrade to to further OSX.
    You may have applications that will not be compatible with any thing past Snow Leopard, you can check those here Upgrading to 10.7 and above, don't forget Rosetta!

    Office 2008 will not work with anything newer than Snow Leopard for an wxample
    You may be able to upgrade to Lion or MT Lion or Yosemite, depending on your machine, from the APP STORE.

  • Wlan doesnt connects with my c6

    i've got nokia c6, whenever i search for wlan it searches the available networks bt when i try to connect it displays 'invaild wpa pre-shared key' even though i provide the correct key. The same problem is with my next x3-02. However it gets connected easily with my laptop with the same key. What might be the problem.? Do i need to download any software,apps and install to my phone c6 to connect? Plz help me as faster.

    The router should set to PPPoE protocol. I assume that you use the same setting. On this way your unit will become IPAdress automatically. Check in WLAN properties the settings for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and set it to Obtain an IP address automatically.
    You can configure the WLAN settings using Windows settings or even using Toshiba Wireless LAN Client Manager if you have one installed on your unit. If you want to use WLAN client manager Windows settings must be disabled.

  • Printer cannot connect with the Laptop - IP address are the same which is the issue

    I have a HP Photosmart All in One printer that is connected to a desktop wirelessly and it works effectively on the desktop.  I had it connected to a laptop as well. It stopped working one day with the laptop and has not worked since. It continues to work with the  desktop. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the installation on the laptop, still does not work.  When I go to connect the laptop to the network and put in the IP address it says "The IP address entered is currently being used by this computer. Please confirm that your printer actually has this IP address or enter the correct address below and click search"  I have checked, double checked and tripled checked and it is the IP address that I got from the printer.  Same issue comes up with using the Host name.   Can anyone provide me with a solution? Thank you!!

    Hi, Please give printer a FIX IP address, say from 200 to 254 and it will stay. Your other devices (phones, tablets ... ) including computers can use other addresses from 2 to 199 or from 1 to 199. Regards.

    today i had my new iphone 4s delivered, i charged it using the wall charger, and when i went to sync with my itunes, the phone wasn't connecting to the laptop, i phoned apple support who talked me through re-installing itunes, when he suggested i try the phone on another computer(which was air mac) my phone connected straight away, the apple advisor said the problem would be with my windows, but its all completely up to date, ive got windows 7, thing is, my old phone (3g) connects fine and itunes is opened straight away, why wont it work with the iphone 4s, please help, thanks!!

    First be sure that you are running the lates version of iTunes.  If you are running 64-bit Windows you need to use this version of iTunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1427.  If you are using the correct version and it's up to date and your computer still won't connect, then you need to uninstall iTunes and all of its components by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923.  You need to follow this guide, uninstalling all components in the order specified or it will not be successful.  Once done, reinstall the latest version of iTunes.  Note: uninstalling iTunes only removes the application; it won't touch your iTunes library or data.

    I have a pioneer AV reciever for a year now and up till a few months ago I could play music via itunes airplay on the reciever without any problems. But it suddenly stopped working. I can see my reciever in the airply menu but it wont connect anymore. I have an imac and 2 macbooks and none of them will connect. And they all did a few months ago. Only the imac has yosemte, the macbooks didnt have an upgrade yet. The problem lies with itnunes because i can still connect my pioneer reciever via android devices.
    The reciever is a Pioneer VSX-923.

    Did anyone ever figure anythign out with this. Just got a AVR-X2000 and having tons of video issues with Apple TV and xbox 360 input sources when I try to run them at 1080p

    I have a dell Laptop Dell inspiron 3521 this has got only an HDMI Port as output, I can connect this laptop to other monitor, & TVs with HDMI but cannot do so with my HP2311F Part number LA176AA. I have also tried to connect the latptop using a HDMI to VGA convertor.

Learn How to Post and More. I see that you are not able to connect to your HP monitor, and I would be happy to assist you! To begin, I will need to ask you a few questions:
    What version of Windows do you have installed on your computer?
    Has your computer completed all of its important Windows Updates?
    Are you able to connect your monitor to a different computer?
    In the meantime, I recommend following this document on when the Monitor is Blank. This should help diagnose any possible connection or hardware issues that may be present. In addition, I also suggest downloading the HP 2311f 23 inch Diagonal LED Monitor Drivers for your laptop.
    Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, as well as the requested information above. I look forward to your reply!

    Hi. Did your ipad come with a power adaptor with a USB port in it?
    What is your native language? I can try answering it in that language if it's easier for you.
    Basically, your computer's USB ports are not powerful enough to charge the ipad, except very slowly when the ipad is asleep.
    So to charge it quickly, use the USB ipad adaptor.
    Just let me know if you need explanations in another language, and I will create a hyperlink for you to the appropriate support article.

  • Scanner doesnt communicate with my laptop

    i downloaded and installed the hp software and drivers for my new hp photosmart 6510 al in one. the all in one is coonected to the wifi network and so is my laptop. both are connected to the same network.
    anytime i try to scan i am not able to communicate with the scanner.
    the print and scan doctor utility shows driver error that the scan driver is unale to communicate with the product. i am unable to fix this. what can i do to fix this problem?

    Thanks for reporting the issue. There are few ways you can do scanning from the Printer
    1. Make sure you downloaded latest HP software and installed it.
    2. From PC, launch HP printer application (Start->Program files-HP->printer model->Hp Model series) or the solution center and double click scan link to do scanning
    OR
    3. Any third party applications like Paint program, click file and choose insert the image from scanner.
    4. If it is connected via network, then you can use your browser to make scan, Here is the video

  • Zen 8GB player is constantly losing connectivity with my laptop

    Hi, I've a new Zen MP3 player but whenever I connect it to my laptop it constantly drops in and out - I get the windows ding dong and the box asking what I want to do with this device, I click "take no action" and a few seconds later it drops out again. I've tried all the USB ports, various different cables and all the recovery instructions on this site to no avail.
    If I try and rip CDs using Zen explorer I constantly get "your ZEN player is disconnected, please connect your ZEN" at the top of the window.
    I'm running on an IBM/Lenovo T6 thinkpad, Windows XP professional SP2
    Clearly something is knocking out the USB connection continuously, any ideas ?

    I have had the same problem for over a year now, and it crops up here every so often. So far there is no simple solution to it. You can try different USB ports, different cables...doesn't usually make much difference. Oddly enough, different computers often do make a difference, but you can't change your PC to suit a Zen.
    In my case the connect/disconnect will calm down and go away usually within an hour...so it's a nuisance, but I can li've with it. If you can find a solution to this problem, I'll be immensely grateful. So far, I remain frustrated.

    We are new to Mac and struggling with internet security. 
    We have a wireless internet dongle that connects into a USB port and some days our ipod touch can connect other days it cant, I am never prompted for a password to connect.  This morning we were setting up a new laptop for our daughter and it found our wireless network and informed us it was unsecured. So we assume anyone within range is utilising our wireless connection.
    If I turn on firewalls it shuts off everything, if we look at airport we get even more confused.
    Is there a simple way to resolve this so our internet connection is for our house only and new devises that try to connect need to enter a password.
