HT1373 How can I make all of my devices use the same iTunes library?

I have an iMac, Macbook Air, Macbook, iPad, iPhone and an iTouch. So, as you can imagine, I have many devices that need to be on the same page at all times. I take my Air to campus with me and use it for classes, along with my iPad, so I usually plug my iPad into my laptop for updates, dowloads, transfers, charging, etc... The same with my iPhone. However, when I get home and I plug my iPad or iPhone into my iMac, it does this whole (This iPad is currently synced to another library, would you like to Erase & Sync to this library). No. I want my Air and iMac to be the same so I can plug my devices up to either of them without having to worry about erasing or adding anything that I don't want erased or added.
How, if at all, can I accomplish this?

You can't. An iOS device can still be synced with only one computer. That is making sense have it referer to multiple files from your computer (backup, iTunes medias, sync information).
As you will only sync your iOS with one computer, it is iCloud you need to use to keep all your content in sync. While on the go, you use your iPad for a purchase for exemple, iCloud will allow you to push that purchase to all your devices automatically. Though, it doesn't mean that it will sync with any devices.
iCloud will allow you, once properly configure, to use any documents, media, purchases, apps, bookmarks, content, calendar, email... and so one in sync from any of your devices without the assle to sync from an iOS device.

I went to a party once and one of their family members was in charge of music. They used iTunes on a laptop and used their wifi hub with itunes, they then had all Apple devices connected to the laptop (through wifi) and played the same song in every room. How did they do it? If so please let me know as I have a party coming up soon!

You can buy any of these, or other devices as long as they say they are AirPlay compatible and they will work.

It will work whenever your wifi signal is.
If you want music in a room, you need something for that room. Or turn up the volume and hear it in the next room also...

You can have iTunes reference the content where ever it is on your HDD without copying the content to the iTunes library, thus using twice the space.
If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library," iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. To adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes Preferences.

Additionally if you want the content to then ALSO be located in your iTunes Library folder so everything is all kept together nice and tidy, use this:
Consolidate your files in the iTunes folder
Depending on how you imported items into iTunes, some items in your library might be stored in different locations (in another folder or on another hard disk, for example).
You can consolidate all the files in your library in the iTunes folder—for example, to make it easier to move your library to a new computer.
Choose File > Library > Organize Library.
Select “Consolidate files.”Files remain in their original locations, and copies are placed in the iTunes folder.
To create folders (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and so on) inside your iTunes folder, and place all your imported media files in the appropriate folders, select “Reorganize files in the folder ‘iTunes Media.’”

Not true at all.
It does not matter where the songs came from, they are not yours and the previous owner does not own the right to distribute them to others.
The law is the same with downloads and cds and any other medium.

Is the camera damaged? Could be a hardware problem.
Try:
Close the Camera app in the multitasking bar, then try again.
Restart/Reset/Restore your iPod. In that order.

You can set up different iCloud accounts on each device using different Apple IDs (to keep your mail, calendars, contacts, etc. separated), and still share the same iTunes account (in Settings>Store on your device). There is no requirement that you use the same Apple ID for purchases and for iCloud.

Unfortunately, you cannot change your primary @me.com or @icloud.com email address, you could however create an alias or create a completely new account.

Keep all the files for the library on the ext HD. This includes the Album Art, iTunes Library file, .xml files etc.
This way any time you are opening the library it will have all the files available. Hold down the 'option' key when launching iTunes and direct the Mac to the ext HD.

I have two ipod touches and I am wondering if I can sync my legally bought digital movies from blu-ray discs that are on the cpu and registered, will it sync with two ipod touches with the same iTunes account.

The movies on the laptop are just digital copies. A lot of newer blu-ray movies come out with the blu-ray and a digital copy for the cpu as well. Thanks for responding.
