None - Flash is not supported on the iPad. And as Adobe have never managed to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices, and they have recently announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store.

I just bought a new iMac loaded with OSX Tiger. I have an existing external hard drive which I used from my PC machine and I want to use it in my iMac. Which format do I format the disc into? There are so many options and I'm unsure which is the best. OSX Extended, OSX Extended (Journaled), etc, what is the difference of these formats in terms of usage?

The default file format OS X Extended Journaled is the most common one to use. It provides support for OS X file system, as well as supporting file journalling, which can help restore files that may become damaged if the computer should freeze, or shutdown unexpectedly. Journalling keeps a list of files that have pending modifications to be made, but have not yet had the data written to the disk. Should your iMac freeze up on you, then the next time you start the iMac up, it checks the current state of the hard drive against the journaled list. If a file didn't finish being updated, the iMac completes the needed updates to the file system.
The disadvantage to journaled file systems, is that they are slightly slower then non journaled counter parts, however, they have an advantage when it comes to protecting data integrity of your hard drives.
Journaled file systems have another slight disadvantage, they tend to be more difficult to repair when a major drive failure or corruption occurs. However, this should be a non issue, since you should not be relying on data recovery utilities for major problem, but should instead have adequate backups in place.

What kind/size/format/color space photo for making books?

Let me make that simpler. I have Tiffs on a drive I want to drag into iPhoto to turn into a book. Should I use tiffs? Jpgs? 16 or 8 bit? RGB or sRGB? Maybe iPhoto makes them what they need to be when I order a book?
I haven't tried this at all yet so maybe there is no question at all. I'll have iPhoto 8 by the time I do this loaded in the 15" MBP

If you already have the photos as tiffs you can use then if you'd like and save having to convert them to jpgs. As Larry pointed out the sRGB profile is recommended by Apple. I think 8 bit is sufficient. 16 bit doubles the file size and I don't think it would make any difference. The book gets created as a pdf for uploading and printing. As for size, pixel wise, the larger the better. The pdf is configured at 300 dpi so anything over that is wasted. If you plan on any full page photos then for the optimal dpi, 300, the image would be 3300 x 2550. Most of my books have been made with photos at 2816 x 2112 and I've had no problems. I've not used any one-photo-per-full-page layouts however.
However, if you're worried about disk space on your MBP then I'd convert them to jpgs as Larry suggested.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

I've been trying to download mp4 and avi. movies into my 30GB iPod, and that's not worked.
The I tunes will convert the movies, hold them and play them, but whenever I plug the ipod in it won't copy because the file type is not supported by the iPod.

When you generate SSMA Assessment Report, there are several files created and saved into Report folder under your SSMA project folder. It includes
source-metabase.mb, project-container.mappings, preferences.prefs, and so on.
. MD files are usually saved in plain text format including inline text symbols, defining how a text is formatted such as the indentations, its table formatting, fonts, and headers.
SSMA provides a project setting that allow you to customize how to set customized database migration. For example, to customize data migration SQL statement, you can modify project setting by navigating to Tools and choosing Project Settings,
then looking for the setting for
Extended Data Migration Options and change the value to
Show. You can select use custom select and modify the SQL statement.

Intially sql goes to library cache, where it checks for syntax and sematics, once it pass throw, it generates a 16 digit hash code for that sql( for the first time this can be treated as 'HARD PARSING' and and the same sql given for 2nd time it wont do the entire process, just uses the existing #code, this is called as 'SOFT PARSING") and finally this goes to DDC where object existence and privileges are checked, once it passed all these it gets the file#,block# to fetech the blocks form datafile, and those will be fetched to database buffer cache and then to client system in such a format that we can usderstood.

Some people, myself included, import their music from original audio CDs. When doing so I choose to import using Apple Lossless format so as to keep the full original quality of the audio CDs (this is after all why it is called Apple Lossless format in that you are not losing any quality).

What presets and format for sharing is best to use on HD project?

I have been working on a Premiere Elements project for the past several weeks, and it is my first, obviously. I have spent many hours on the phone with Adobe techs and every one has said something completely different and contrary to what i had been told before.
Several issues i have.
1. No one seems to say the same as to what preset is best. I have taken the pictures from files from Photoshop from my DSLR camera, so i used the preset of DSLR [email protected] which i assumed was the appropriate to get HD quality of photographs of a special vacation. There have been suggestions that i use a HDV preset instead. What would be the right preset?
2. I completed the project, ending up with 45GB and planned to burn it to a blu ray disc. As soon as i put in a disc and filled out the options, i went for a H.264 1920x108iNTS Dolby, and it said there was no media, in the share panel for burning the blu ray.
3. Then i tried to burn it to a windows folder instead, and used MPEG2 102-x1080i30 because i want to maintain as much HD quality to the photos as i can.
And 5% into the download, a pop-up appeared saying i was running extremely low in memory, and to save and proceed cautiously. If i used AVI i assumed that would be standard videos. I have a HP p6320 Phenom II x 4 820 Processor 2.8 GH, with 8 GB of RAM. I have a TB of hard disk space and use Windows 7.
so now i have what i think is a finished project, and don't know how to get it the blu ray or a way that i could eventually get it to a blu ray. So near yet so far!!!!
4. The time to upload the project after rebooting etc. is taking longer and longer, now in the vicinity of 30-40 minutes. What is causing this problem?
And i see 'Adobe Premier Elements 9 is not responding' more and more often, and the time with the swirling green circle with 'wait for the program to respond' is becoming the regular occurrence rather than the odd happening.
What am i doing or what is going wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hopefully i have given enough information for some lights to go off? Obviously i am a super novice, but i am getting very frustrated, with a project that started off being so much fun. I would like to draw it to a conclusion!

You do not select what kind of file you output when you tell PreEl to write a DVD or BluRay folder on hard drive for later burning to disc... the DVD or BluRay format is part of the specification
Put a Hollywood DVD or BluRay in your computer drive (stop autoplay when it starts, you don't want to play the movie) and then use Windows Explorer to go LOOK at what is on the disc
When you tell PreEl to write your DVD or BluRay folder to your hard drive, you will have the same file structure and file types as a Hollywood disc
You then use Imgburn to write that entire file folder to disc
