HT1386 Can't sync an album from iTunes to my iPod

One song on an album would not sync from iTunes to my iPod, so I deleted the album and resynced.  Now the entire album won't sync.  I've tried rebooting both my iPod and my computer.  I just won't sync to the iPod.  I have 3.4Gb free on my 64Gb iPod.  I use iOS 5.1.

Problem is solved.  I looked at the songs in this album through the "On this iPod" menu option.  I could see there were sync errors on the songs in this album.  I reset the warnings and turned on "iCloud" in the iPod settings.  The album and songs synced from iCloud.  Now everthing is fine.

  • Can't sync new album from itunes to ipod

    have recently downloaded new coldplay album from itunes but ipod will not pick it up during syncing, however will pick up recent podcasts??? any suggestions please!!!!

    Your computer may not be authorised. Try playing a track from the album from itunes. If you are not authorised, it should prompt you for your password. Once authorised it should transfer to the iPod.

  • HT1386 Unable to sync some albums from itunes to iphone 5

    Hiya,
    Some but not all of my purchased albums in itunes will not sync to my iphone 5. I have the latest update, have tried reverting to manual sync, emptying all albums from iphone, re-syncing selected albums but nothing seems to work.
    I've tried this countless times and it is driving me mad now. Any advice as to how to resolve this issue will be very warmly welcomed!
    Thanks.

  • I can't sync movies (BOUGHT from iTunes) to my iPod nano!

    Any movie I buy won't sync. I have another movie from my computer that worked after i converted to mp4. Mp4s work but not m4vs
    Midway the sync it stops and I get an error.
    "Attempting to copy to the disk "My iPod" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to"
    I get this error at different times. The first time i attempted to put it on, it went 2 cm. The last time it went almost halfway.
    I would really appreciate any help.
    Thank you,
    Luke

    I have the same problem. Movies and tv shows downloaded from itunes will not work if they are longer than 25 minutes. The guy at the 14th st Genius bar said that all is well with both computer, nano and software so "we're calling it a usb problem". Do you have an older model mac or pc?

  • Can't sync music albums from itunes to my ipad

    Help!  I have a bunch of music files/albums in my itunes library from my computer, but I can NOT get them onto my ipad! I keep reading about clicking the "sync" button, but there IS NO SYNC BUTTON ANYWHERE!  I tried dragging and dropping, but that won't work either. I am so frustrated!

    Ragazzi anche io ho lo stesso problema.
    Ho attivato l'iTunes Match, che funziona correttamente sul pc e sull'iPhone 4S.
    L'ho attivato anche sul mio iPad, ma, tuttavia, dopo un breve periodo in cui ha funzionato correttamente, ha iniziato a dare problemi.
    Vi descrivo di seguito ciò che ho rilevato:
    - il periodo in cui l'iTunes Match ha funzionato correttamente sull'iPad è durato solo qualche settimana;
    - in seguito, anche se tutti i brani della Cloud venivano visualizzati sull'iPad, dava problemi nel senso che i brani non venivano riprodotti e, inoltre, la durata veniva indicata in "zero" per tutti i brani, sicchè, cliccandoci, non venivano riprodotti;
    - ho provato a disattivare e riattivare l'iTunes Match e, a questo punto il dispositivo ha dato il messaggio "tutta la tua libreria musicale verrà sostituita con quella su iTunes Match", mentre, nell'applicazione "MUSICA" erano spariti tutti i brani: veniva visualizzata, al centro della pagina, la nuovoletta del Cloud, con una barra di download sotto. Questo è durato per circa quattro giorni, senza che succedesse nulla, nel senso che la barra del download non mostrava segni di caricamento;
    - allora ho provato a ripristanare le impostazioni e, a questo punto, erano visualizzati di nuovo i brani, ma comunque senza possibilità di riprodurli (la durata di nuovo indicata come "zero");
    - nel momento in cui ho provato a cliccare su uno dei brani, è riapparsa la nuvoletta del Cloud con la barra di download sotto;
    - quando i brani ricompaiono, hanno sempre durata zero e non vengono riprodotti;
    - ho attivato anche la condivisione in famiglia ma il problema non cambia.
    Vi preciso che il mio iPad è della prima generazione ed è aggiornato all'IOS 6.

    Are you sure your computer is authorized for this? This is probably your issue.
    If you go to the "Advanced" tab on the top in iTunes, is there a "Deauthorize computer..." button or an "Authorize computer..." button? If there's an "authorize computer" link, then that is your issue. Authorize your computer, and you should be able to transfer iTMS purchased songs from iTunes to iPod.
    For details, see this Apple article:

    Hi NWL1,
    Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, the iPhone won't update and is stuck. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

  • I added 2 cd's to itunes 11, I have an ipod classic 30gb, how do I export the albums from itunes to my ipod?

    Hi Ihave an ipod classic 30gb, i imported 2 cd's into itunes on win xp pro sp3, how do I export the albums from itunes to my ipod?

    It depends on how you previously added content to the iPod?  Or are saying the iPod is currently empty, and you want to add these albums to it?
    If you want to sync your entire iTunes music library to the iPod, which may or may not be just these two albums at this point, you can do the following.  Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see the iPod's "management" screen.  If you are using the latest iTunes 12, you do this by clicking the "device button" on the horizontal bar that goes across the iTunes window (near the top).  The button's icon looks like the connected device.
    On the iPod's screen, there is a sidebar (along left side of window).  In the sidebar, under Settings, click Music.  To the right, the iPod's Music settings screen is shown, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.  Near the top, there is a checkbox for Sync Music.  Check that box to enable automatic syncing.  NOTE:  If that box is not already checked, checking it will replace the iPod's existing content with content from your iTunes library.  Any songs on the iPod now that are not in your current iTunes library will be lost.
    Below that setting, there are two options for how to sync songs.  30GB is a decent amount of storage space, so if your entire iTunes library can fit on your iPod, you can use the option to sync Entire music library.  Then click Apply.  iTunes syncs your entire iTunes music library to your iPod.  Going forward, any changes to your iTunes music library (such as adding more albums or songs) will sync automatically to the iPod, the next time it is connected (or when you click Sync if already connected).
    If your situation is different, please reply back with more details.

    I have a new iPod. I have succesfully installed iTunes on my computor and loaded music from my CD's. I can't download the songs from iTunes to my iPod Nano. go to file update your ipod and all the songs should go on the ipod unless theirs something wrong with yhe cord

  • HT1386 I recently purchased an album from itunes.  When I subsequently sync'ed my ipod touch I ended up with all tracks of that album doubled on my ipod and I lost all my playlists. Subsequent syncing has not fixed it.  Any ideas what to try?

    I recently purchased an album from itunes.  When I subsequently sync'ed my ipod touch I ended up with all tracks of that album doubled on my ipod and I lost all my playlists. Subsequent syncing has not fixed it.  Any ideas what to try?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    You said:
    No, I do not want to "factory reset" my iPod. No I do not wish to do anything crazy long or hard to fix this.
    That may be necessary, It is not what you want to do/not do but what is required to resolve your problem.

  • I can't copy purchased songs from iTunes onto my iPod on my new computer.

    I have an HP Pavilion zd7000 notebook computer. It's used. It was given to me by a family member. I put my iPod software onto it. I can purchase songs from iTunes, and I can connect my iPod and play the music. However, when I tried to put a purchased song from iTunes onto my iPod, I was told that I wasn't allowed. Is there some sort of security thing I don't know about?

  • Syncing an album from iTunes on my Mac without using Match-How?

    I have an album that was purchased on iTunes from my old Mac and on a different account. Match simply will not let me download two tracks onto my iPhone regardless of how many times I try. It shows both tracks partially download and then stops. Is there a way to turn Match off so that I can sync that album directly from my new Mac?  Thanks.

    I just found instructions for permantly turning off Match and have done so. Works great. Thanks
