Are you running the latest version of iPhoto on your Mac? If it needs an update, apply the update. Quit iTunes, and iPhoto, restart your Mac and try again.

I am unable to sync my ipad..i get error message " required file cannot be found" Can you help me?
Some things to try in this order:
1) Make sure you designated the correct folders for music, etc.
2) Press and Hold the Home and Power buttons on the iPad until the Apple Logo appears, about 10 seconds.
3) Make sure all antivirus and firewalls are off.
4) Delete and reinstall itunes. (Back up the itunes folder first.)
Hope this helps... -
i am unable to sync my ipad 4th generation with iTunes. I get a message saying I do not have enough privileges for this operation
To be honest I'd be very tempted to ring Applecare and explain that prior to downloading iOS5 your iPod Touch worked perfectly however since downloading Apple's new iOS5 it's "bricked" therefore can they as a matter of decency try to help put things right warranty situation notwithstanding. Afterall it does appear to be one of Apple's products that has broken your previously working iPod Touch.

Since upgrading to iTunes 10.5.1 I am unable to sync my iPad
The first issue began with iTunes crashing. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the 64-bit version of iTunes. I am now unable to sync my iPad. Please, can someone help me? Apple Support is worthless since I can't seem to contact anyone. Any help would be appreciated.
I am running iOS5 on my iPad 1
When I try to sync my iPad I get the following message on the screen: "this iPad cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes." Which I have done many many times.Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:
http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch -

I am unable to sync my iPad with my new MacBook Air without losing all photos even though both are linked to the same iTunes account
Transferring photos from your computer has nothing to do with your iTunes account/Apple ID.
Photos can be transferred from a single computer only. When transferring photos from another, all photos on the iPad that were transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPad first - even if the photos were transferred from the old or different computer to the new computer being used for syncing.
When transferring photos from your computer, what is named the iPod Photo Cache is created on your computer for the photos that are transferred and why you see new photos being transferres are optimized before the actual transfer process. The iPod Photo Cache for these photos on the computer the photos were transferred from is not available on your new computer.
Since all photos on your iPad that were transferred from the old or different computer should remain on that computer, transfer the photos from that computer to your new computer. These photos on your iPad will be erased with the first sync but will be re-transferred along with a new iPod Photo Cache for these photos being created on your new computer. -
Even when I authorised my pc on my iphone, when i sync the iphone with a new purchase, it prompts and error that unable to sync due to pc not authorised.
Hello, Jagatheswary.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The most common cause for this issue would be media or Apps present in your library that is purchased with another Apple ID. The article below will walk you through the process of verifying if that is the case or correcting the issue if not.
iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases

Hi Vanzalone,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

All my iTunes content is on the new Mini, but my iPad is trying (unsuccessfully) to sync to the iMac.
How do you know? Nothing identifies which computer it is syncing with...
Is the iMac still on the network?
Have you connected the iPad to the Mac mini via USB and sync'd it? -
