HT1386 how do you change the sync from an old computer to a new computer.

I am replacing an old computer. I need to transfer the sync of my i phone to the new computer. wheni connect the phone to the new computer it telss me it would have to reset it. I would rather not start over with the phone. How can I transfer the information from the old computer to the new and maintain the phone as is?

Restore the iPod in iTunes for Mac. Restoring will erase and reformat the iPod's hard drive, reload the software with the Mac version and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. I have a clip and the audio track is synced, the little line that connects the audio to the video is on say frame 10, but I want to trim 20 frames off the beginning, it I do and hit delete the audio is delete too. How do I move the sync point to some point after what I want to trim, yet maintain the same sync,

I think I know what you are trying to do. To move the clip connection or connect to another clip select the clip who's connection you want to move (your audio clip in this case) alt + cmd click where you want the new connection to be from (further along the clip i.e. > frame 20 in your case). The clip connection moves to this new point, if this point on your story line is another clip it connect to the new clip.

We have trouble every so often sending a message to customers will get a bounce back. Basically it is using our local internal name (mailserver.local) instead of our External name (mail.domain.com). We have a pretty
simple setup one Server (no edge server) with and SSL certificate. I went in to the Hub Transport setting and made sure the FQDN was mail.domain.com and it was. I have read on the subject some people suggest getting your ISP to create a pointer
record for the IP to the internal name. That will not work for us, because we may be changing ISPs in the near future.
I included a bounce and current header info.
So is there a way to change the "Received: from" server name to our external name?

The error message states the reverse DNS entry isn't valid. I agree with Willard that setting up an SPF record will help your overall spam score from receiving hosts, but in this case it should simply be resolved by configuring a reverse DNS.
Receiving mail hosts on the Internet usually care most about the IP that's connecting to them. One of the most common tests is the reverse DNS (since the SMTP connection comes from 96.43.X.X, the receiving host will ask itself "does 96.43.X.X really
belong to the TUK-UTM.theirdomain.com ? and will go and check for PTR records for 96.43.X.X) It's this check that's failed.
Even if you'll be changing your ISP in the future, you would still have ownership for your DNS domains, right ? It should be your company paying for this service after all.

Before you erase your phone, you need to first delete the iCloud account, sign out of FaceTime & iMessage. If you don't, this phone will still be linked to your Apple ID. Once you do that: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.
But, delete iCloud & turn the other stuff off first...important you do this.

PLug your 3gs into iTunes, in the left panel right click on your iPhone and create a backup. After the back up is complete plug your 4s into iTunes, right click on it in the left panel and select restore from backup, select the backup file from your 3gs and that should load everything from your 3gs to your new iphone

I am trying to transfer apps from an old Ipod to a new one. World War and Call of Mini: Double Shot will not transfer the game data. Any suggestions? I have backed up and restored via Icloud with no success.

i have been having a problem for one month with Photosmart 7510 all in one. I can't use the efax feature. Get an error message unable to sync. I have called hp and spoke to supervisor and also called efax.com. They are not supporting this feature apparently. I am no longer able to fax.
Also I was able to change the date and time, but the screen only shows GMT. It doesn't show the United States.
I am very frustrated not getting any help.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you are having issues with the eFax feature of your Photosmart 7510 printer.
I have included a link to a post by @PrintApper regarding eFax titled eFax users - please read. It has the information regarding the eFax feature.
I have also included the Setting up the All-in-One (Hardware) document. Please follow the instructions in “Step five: Set the time zone, time, and date” for setting the date on your printer.

originally before I got my iPhone 4 a few years ago, I had a LG phone and plugged into my computer, use the Windows program called BitPim that would extract into a .csv file to get them into my Contacts on my computer, then transfter into Itunes and sync from there.
