I want to know how to sync only one way because there are some photos from our previous apple devices and I don't want those photos to appear onto my new one when I sync to put the photos or videos onto the computer. Does anyone know how to do it without messing up the system?

The photos are now on your computer and you don't want them on your new iPad?
Then move this photos on your computer to another location (folder) first and then sync.

When you add an event on Iphone, 3rd fields down from bottom, select calender > iCloud. Voila!!
I am not sure everybody understand really the intention with iCloud. It is one single calender residing on a Apple server somewhere. Selecting iCloud from any device will show this calender. Then how to sync this with other calenders is to me a mystery, or not possible, especially on Lion iCal. Please anyone.

Same way you did with the previous versions of iTunes.
To view the iPod in iTunes, Ctrl S to show the sidebar.
Create a playlist, add songs and sync that playlist.
Or drag songs to the iPod in iTunes.

That sucks. DropBox can.
We want to SYNC literature down to sales reps and not have the sales reps accidentally erase from the Cloud for all. Hence we want a one way SYNC to have them SYNC literature onto their computers for remote
access to the files.
Surely SharePoint cannot be that far behind DropBox.
Is there no way to achieve that?

Make sure that the "Sync Music" option from the Music tab in your iTunes is checked but not the "Entire music library" underneath the "Entire music library" option you can select which parts of you iTunes library to sync with your iPhone.

Why is Mail rule syncing only one way?

Odd. I've got a Mac mini and an iMac, both running 10.8.2, both with iCloud syncing Documents & Data. Mail on the mini has rules -- created on that machine -- for SpamSieve that are not syncing to the iMac; in fact, both rules disappear every few days and I only notice because spam starts piling up.
On the other hand, changes to Mail rules on the iMac are synced to the mini. The mini has been running Mountain Lion for five months; the rules only started disappearing after I upgraded to ML on the iMac last month.
Any ideas on why the syncing is only one-way?

It appears that I can't edit my original question. So here is new information. It is syncing. However, the contacts are syncing with my personal folders. The calendar is syncing from Outlook to Ipad from my personal folders. However, the calendar is syncing to Outlook in a hotmail calendar in the profile that I didn't know existed. How do I get it set right.
I tried to select the calendar. However only one calendar is available in itunes. It must be the correct calendar as it is syncing fine. So how do I get ipad to sync back to the personal folders calendar instead of the hotmail calendar in my profile?

1st make sure that iTunes will not sync iPhone automatically
on iTunes go to Edit>preferences> Devices > check "prevent iDevice from syncing automatically"
>connect iPhone to PC
> on iTunes click your iPhone's name
> then untick everything you don't want to be synced line music,movies,apps,calendars, mails
leave 'sync contacts' ticked
then you should be fine

Let's say, I have an Iphone 3GS and it was synced to my older pc (I know...) and it crashed and I can't retrieve my files on there. I want everything that I have on my 3Gs: photos, videos, music, notes, voice recordings, etc... Now, I recently upgraded to 4Gs. I can sync almost everything via icloud but there are files like photos, videos, other music that I cannot sync or for some weird reason it won't work over the cloud. So I want to move all of those information to my macbook pro (upgraded from pc... yes!). How do I move everything in my iphone backed up to my itunes in my mac book so that I can sync it to my new 4Gs?

I have a 3GS IPhone and have not been able to find Cloud on it anywhere (I was instructed to go to Settings, General, etc). I have also been told I should download update from I Tunes and have not been successful doing that either. I just did a clean install of OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard on our iMac (mid-07) and used this guide to get my wife's iPhone to sync with it again...without losing the apps. This page from OSXdaily is also useful: http://osxdaily.com/2012/02/29/sync-iphone-new-computer-without-losing-data/ I do use Time Machine, and backed up my drive before I did the whole wipe and install, so I did have all the backup files for the iPhone... It took a little time, but I did manage to drag all the music and photos over so I didn't lose anything. Hope this helps.

How do you sync only selected projects from Aperature 3 to iPad?

My Aperature projects show only one or two or maybe zero pics in the projects. I could probably sync the whole ApLibrary, but I don't think iPad will hold all 17,000 pics. Masters are almost all raw (.cr2) files. I can export the versions to a file and then upload the file ot iPad using camera connection kit, but then all photos are in one file and harder to locate.
Any advice?

Same way you did with the previous versions of iTunes.
To view the iPod in iTunes, Ctrl S to show the sidebar.
Create a playlist, add songs and sync that playlist.
Or drag songs to the iPod in iTunes.

know this might sound silly
but make sure that
1) sync music is checked
2) you have playlist with songs in them
3) your songs have some sort of sorting form on them (artist, genre, album, etc.)
also try
rebooting pc and device and reconnecting
if all else fails, redownload itunes

What he said. Or here is a similar approach with a picture.
1. Press the SEND button on every stereo (or mono) guitar track you want to send through the effect. Then select a free bus.
2. Make sure you turn up the amount of send (in db). Holding alt while leftclicking on this circle sets the send level to 0 db wich is good.
3. Open the mixer (Cmd+2). Please see that I here have turned the output off from the stereo guitar track. That way the only output will be the BUS, in your case the AmpTrack bus where all your guitars will pass through. If you want both the original guitar sound AND the Ampfarm effect then just set all outputs on your guitar tracks to Stereo Out, like the AmpF Bus track is set in my picture.
4. Insert your AmpFarm plugin here. I don´t have that plug so I inserted Waves Renes Axe for demo purpose.
Adjust the volume/effect of every guitartrack by turning the circle input shown as 2. in my picture.
I now see that you mentioned Pod Farm, not AmpFarm. But I guess it´s the same trick.
