Sure but the transfer is not direct. Simply sync the iPad2 to the same iTunes/computer that you use to sync the original iPad. Each iPad will have a unique name and you can configure each one the way that you wish.

I just reread your post. After you do the above, tell your wife to sync to her computer (or computer login). That will wipe out all of your stuff and start her off brandy new.

Same way they got on your phone, through the iTunes sync process. With your phone connected, iTunes running, under the "Photos" tab, deselect the albums/folders/photos you do not want on your phone. Hit the "Apply/Sync" button & they will be removed from your phone.

As the others stated purchases are inexorably linked to the Apple ID used to purchase them.
An alternative solution is to create a new email address and Apple ID for yourself. The amount you have invested in purchases for your daughter vs. yourself will factor in this decision.
If she doesn't want to use your email address, Apple IDs can be changed - not transferred, but changed to an email address not already associated with another Apple ID.
One caveat to keep in mind is the age requirement for Apple IDs; thirteen years of age is the minimum. The only way for someone younger than that to legitimately have an Apple ID is for someone older to create one on her behalf.

If you delete an app then yes, you will lose all content in it.
Have you tried closing the app via the taskbar and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the app that isn't working 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How can I click on a bookmark and have it open a new page? When I click a bookmark it always opens right in the sidebar, all my bookmarks disappear and I am left with two seperate pages?

I keep my bookmarks open at all times in the sidebar. If I want to go to a site, say Google, I must do a right click on the bookmark and then click on "Open In A New Tab" then the google page opens in a new tab.
I want to skip the second click. I want to be able to simply left click the google booknark in the sidebar and have google open in a new tab.
the way things are now, when I simply do a left click on the google bookmark the new google tab opens in tne sidebar itself. My bookmarks disappear from the sidebar and the google page is opened in the sidebar. So at this point I have two active page open at the same time.

Opening in the Sidebar is the default action for bookmarks that are created via a "Bookmark this Page" link or button on a website. Make sure you use the many "Bookmark this Page" methods that are in Firefox instead.
Right-click that bookmark and select '''Properties''', then un-check the preference for '''Load this bookmark in the sidebar''', and then click Save.

The computer which was synced to my iPod Touch crashed and Dell technician reformatted backup drive therefore literally losing EVERYTHING. I tried to sync and organize my iPod to the new computer, but learned that all of my music, books, movies, and other downloads will be lost by syncing to the new computer. How is this possible??? I purchased these items from various sources including Amazon, Audio Books, Barnes & Noble, as well as the Apple Store. Please assist me, I don't want to lose what I have left. I want to add new songs to existing playlists and basically do some cleanup and organizing. How do I save & organize my iPod and yet establish it to our new computer? Thank You in advance!

Thanks for the advice! However, I DID back up everything on an external drive. A Dell technician (computer under warranty) had me plug in my external drive to retrieve some data to restore my computer. Before I could stop him (he worked on it remotely from India) he reformatted my backup drive and erased over 120 GB of stored data. We are still in discussion with Dell on retrieving my lost data. *To cougarspeed09:* I am sure I can go to some of the various websites and retrieve purchased material, but I really didn't want to expend all that time in doing so. It took me a great deal of time to compile all my iPod's items, so I am looking for a more reasonable solution. I don't understand why I can't transfer everything to my new computer, reorganize it and then place back on the iPod Touch. So far, everything I've found is that it works the other way around and the syncing takes place between the new computer and the iPod. Thus, everything on the iPod is erased.

My old desktop crashed. My new desktop has the most recent version of Firefox and the new sync feature. Unfortunately, none of my bookmarks from the old desktop/Firefox transferred to the new desktop. My android phone (GS3) and android tablet both still have all of my bookmarks, but I cannot get them to sync to the desktop. I have read (and reread) the instructions for opening new sync accounts for all devices, etc. so that they are all compatible and sync will work again. I am afraid that if I do that, I will lose all my bookmarks from my android devices, and then they will be lost forever, which defeats the whole purpose of setting up new sync accounts. Pictures are not saved in iTunes. All photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync/transfer process should remain on your computer.
Photos/videos captured by the iPad or saved on the iPad from a received email, from an iMessage, from a website, or imported from a digital camera or from an iPhone with the Camera Connection Kit can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera - especially before restoring the iPad.
All iTunes content on your iPad - music, movies, tv shows, tones, audio and print books, and 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer.

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer? If so you can only use the manual method and that only works with music and videos.
