HT1386 I cant sync itunes with my ipad 2 after ios 7 update

I have tried to sync my ipad with itunes this morning and out of 400 songs i only get 31, the sync clearly wont add all songs. Can anybody help please ?

Before re-initialized all settings, be sure to backup your iPad with iTunes on you PC (not with iCloud in iTunes). When this step is completed, eject your iPad from itunes. Then go on your ipad. You will find function for re-initialization under "General menu" in the "Settings app". This function is at the bottom of this menu. In this function there is many options. Choose "Re-initialize all settings". This will reset your iPad just like it was when you bought it. When its done, replug it on your PC and with itune, restore your iPad with latest backup you have made. When restore is completed and when your iPad is fully reconfigure. Then you will be able to re-sync your music and other stuffs. This can be a long and tedious process. But it work for me. If you need more assistance, go the nearest Apple Store. They will help you. Be warned : I do not take responsibility for this. But It worked for me many time with my iPones and iPad. IOS upgrade is always a mess.

Unfortunately, unless you know the Apple ID, there is absolutely nothing that can be done, you cannot use your mobile device. You may be able to find your Apple ID at Look up your old and forgotten Apple ID

Cannot sync Itunes with my ipad

I subscribed to IMatch and connected my mini ipad to my macbook to sync Itunes. I got a message saying I had to download the most recent version of Itunes. When I did so, a message came up saying I need a newer version of OSX. Is there another way I can get my Itunes synced? My songs show on my Ipad, but will not play.

What version of OS X do you have when you check  > About This Mac? You need 10.6.8 or higher in order to sync you iPad Mini.

I can't sync my iPad 2 after iOS 5 update

I updated my iPad 2 last Monday to iOS 5. Ever since, I cannot sync my iPad to my computer. iTunes recognizes my iPad and attempts to sync, but every single time I get the error message "iPad failed to sync because sync session could not be started." I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 3 times, restarted my computer, restarted my iPad, moved files to a drive with more space, and relocated the files within iTunes. I called Apple, and they waived the SIngle Incident Fee for me since this was a problem occuring due to the last update. Upon speaking with a technician, he asked me if he could call me back in 10-15 minutes, and never called back. This is after being on the phone trying to solve this problem for an hour and a half. Please help.

TThere have been many post like yours here. At the bottom of the main page you can click on "View More" to review like posts. I have read that if you take it to an apple store they may give you a small credit towards a new ipad. Good luck.

Itunes wont sync music to my iphone 4 after iOS 5 update

after my iOS5 update on my iphone 4 Itunes changed a few settings. I had it set up that my iPhone would have music and no photos synced. And my iPad2 All Photos would sync and NO music.
After the update and sync, my iPhone will not sync Music, With in iTunes under the Device iPHONE and the Music tab there are the tracks of music but they are shaded and i am not able to play from there. On my phone there no songs.
Yes I have the boxes checked in the music tab of the iTunes area to Sync ALL.

Right.........Problem Solved!
1) Back up all of your stuff that you want!
2) Restore your Phone (This totally wipes everything so make sure it's backed up)
3) Then turn apps off for syncng and sync music
4) That should sync music onto it.
5) Then sync any apps you need.
This (with the help of a Genius in the Apple Store and took about 1hour and a half) worked for me!

No sound on iPad mini after iOS 8 update

After updating my iPad mini to iOS 8 I found I couldn't hear any sounds. It is not muted, all sounds are up, and even tried with headphones. Can't hear music, games, keyboard clicks, nothing. I also updated my iPhone5 and the sound is fine there. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?
And yes I checked the physical volume/mute buttons on the side as well as in the settings/sound menu.

u r probably using the wrong button, is not volume. I hope you have an iPad with the slider.
but, in any case, try yo replicate the environment for the solution, and, if you DO NOT have the 'rotation lock" slider as "rotation lock" and directly in "sound off" go back one step and put it in "rotation lock" … try to use volume button, that it will not work and then do as below ...
I solved this on my ipad mini retina by setting the 'rotation lock' slider to 'sound off':
- Go to Setting->General
- Change from rotation lock to sound off.
- Wiggle the slider: sound will return
- Now you can set the slider back to rotation lock again

Why is my iPad lagging after iOS 6 update?

After having iOS 6 for nearly a week now, there are so many problems with my iPad (3rd generation) after the update...
1) Web pages I have never been on before stutter and lag so much.
2) Apple maps is RUBBISHHHHH, will google maps be back, coz they're even doing an underwater street view of the great barrier reef?
3) Some apps force close.
4) I feel it doesn't have the same responsiveness.
So is there a way to go back to iOS 5, or am I stuck with a £500 piece of metal with glass superglued to the front?

Hi, after updating my ipad 2 to ios 5 i've noticed it doesn't get 3g although having the right apn settings.
i tried the sim card in my iphone 4 and 3g worked fine , but it only reads edge in the ipad 2. this happened after i updated to ios5.

Why doesn't itunes work on iphone 3gs after IOS 5 update?

After upgrading Iphone 3GS to IOS 5 it does not connect to the Itunes store for updates. I am able to download apps from Icloud but when I try to update apps it gives me an error that it cannot connect to the itunes store. I tried shutting down and restoring the phone. Yes I have both, but I know a lot of times that wi-fi doesn't work with email. And it's all of my yahoo! accounts too. My gmail and iCloud works fine.

Cannot update or install new apps on iPad 2 after IOS 6 update - Help?

After the IOS 6 install, 15 of my apps were tagged for updates. When I tap on Update All, or on Update for an individual app nothing happens. When I tap on Install for a new app, it turns back to Free.
I've tried the suggestions listed below that I've seen in the various discussions, and none have resolved my problem:
Re-booting.
Signing out/in of my Apple ID.
Setting date a year ahead.
Updating the apps on my PC and syncing.
Wi-Fi is working as are the installed apps themselves, including getting content refreshed, e.g., NYTimes app. Any further help much appreciated. I suspect it may take hours to get through to Apple Support.

If you're still having this problem - as I am, please call Apple Support so they can log it in. I spent a lot of time with one of their senior people troubleshooting and at this point the only resolution they can come up with is to do a clean wipe of everything and a new re-install, which is a big undertaking if you have a lot of apps and customizations.
If Apple has enough calls to prove this is not an incidental problem for only a small % users, they can escalate the problem to engineering for possibly an easier fix.

Can't access iCloud, Facebook, Messages settings on iPad 3 after ios 6 update

Once I updated to ios6, I went to post a pic to Facebook from my camera roll. It told me I had to add a Facebook acct and directed me to my settings page. Half my settings are GREYED OUT AND UNAVAILABLE!. Facebook, iCloud, Twitter, Messages, FaceTime, plus other settings under Mail/Contacts etc are also unavailable. I reset my iPad, then the Internet stopped working where it had been fine before! Came up with an apple login page and would disconnect me-- fixed that by setting http proxy to auto-- still can't access the above mentioned settings! Anyone else, any suggestions?!

I had this problem too. But I remembered I was playing with the restriction settings just right before it greyed out. I disabled restrictions and it came back. I would try to disable renewable a few times to see if it comes back.

Unable to move and scale photos for wallpaper on IPad mini after iOS 7 update.

After update to iOS7 on my IPad mini, I am able to select my personal photos for the wallpaper, but I cannot move and scale them to fit. The option is there but unresponsive. I already had to remove the protective case to access the new control panel via up swipe which must begin below the screen next to the "home" button to initiate. Now I can no longer personalize the wall paper with my own photos. It's been a frustrating experience without any real perceptible improvements.

What a nightmare! Had I known what was in store for me, I would never have updated my iPAD Mini to iOS7.
The calendar with it's ultra-thin Helvetica is near impossible to see. To add insult to injury, not being able
to move and size a wallpaper photo is just totally unacceptable. So annoying when software is thrown out
there for the general public when it's obviously not ready. I tried the solution:
Go to Settings > General > Assessibility > Reduce Motion "set to OFF"
Next, in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness > Choose Wallpaper (pick the wallpaper) - you should now be able to "Move and Scale" the photo that you've chosen for your wallpaper.
After you've SET the wallpaper, you can go back to Parallax motion by turning Reduce Motion to "ON" (see step 1)
And it just DOES NOT WORK. Plain and simple. I am so tired of Apple products that have bugs that we are all expected to work through and work out while paying anywhere from $500 to $2000 for a product. And of course you can't get online support in a quick, efficient manner. My big old $600 bite out the Apple is tasting mighty sour at the moment.

Trouble charging iPad 2 after iOS 7 update

I updated my IPad to IOS 7 and it won't charge. Anyone else with this problem?

There should still be a sound when you plug it in - my iPhone 5 and iPad 4 have a system sound when plugged in (a new one, not the old chime, but still a sound as feedback that it is now running on external power). The best I can describe the iOS 7 is a sort of single, soft "pong".
Also, some news sites report problems with 3rd party (i.e. non-Apple) chargers. These have always been iffy with iOS devices as often they are simply not up the minimum specs. required for Apple devices.
