More info needed... and why didn't you have a backup of your computer to restore from?
Why won't it sync?
Any error message? If so, what does it say?
Does iTunes see the phone when it is plugged in?
Are you on a Mac or PC? What version of what operating system is your computer running?

It is not devices, it is computers only. You can have up to 5 computers authorized with the same iTunes account.
The computer you are using is not activated with your iTunes account with iTunes? If not, is a computer available that is activated with your iTunes account? You can deactivate all computers from one computer that is activated following by activating the computer you are using now.

Recently had to reset my computer back to factory default settings

I recently had to reset my computer back to factory default settings due to a possible keylogger hidden somewhere on my computer. When I did this, I forgot to transfer all of my songs onto my iPod before I did it, which wiped all of my songs off of my computer. I recently re-installed iTunes and I need to know if there is a way to recover the songs I had purchased previously?
Whenever I try to "Buy Song", it takes me to the receipt of the song, but won't download it. Any suggestions?

Guys, I found another user and what he said to do worked!!! I have copied the information below:
This was 1 of the things that happend to me too, the other one was that at the bottom of the itunes page were it says all the memory info, it marked that I had over 3gb of other memory wich I didn't.
Anyways what I did was to unmark the calendar, contacts etc. ( so that they wont sync with the computer ), pressed apply, then I marked all of them again, apply again and for last I pressed Sync wich is at the bottom right coner by the apply botton.
I'm not sure that had anything to do with it but it worked, my music appeard both of my itunes playlists and the ones I bought in itunes. Also the other memory dissapeard and it's all good.
I'm not sure this will help you but thats my 5 cents, if the problem continues its better to call customer service and ask for a technician.

Please help me, I recently had to reset my computer and lost my entire hard

Hard drive. AFter getting the computer to work again, I reinstalled my Itunes software. I then wanted to transfer my music from my IPOD to my computer. I followed the step by step support instructions and after it told me to click "Consolidate library" nothing happened and i did not know what to do next. Now the music i had on my IPOD is gone and none of my songs are on my ITUNES. All the music i had on my IPOD were playlists. Please tell me there is a way to get my music back. I called Apple support and they told me to try here. I learned a painful lesson after losing my entire hard drive, to back stuff up. The only thing that survived was the music on my IPOD and now that's missing. I am sooo upset, please if anyone can help me recover my songs i would be so happy and appreciative. Thanks for any and all responses and help.

Thanks for reading my problem and taking the time to answer. The biggest crime of all, is that i followed APPLES SUPPORT page to the letter. It not only didn't help me, but it made my situation worse. Then i call apple to get help on a problem their own information caused, and they tell me i can pay something like $60.00, just to see if they could help. I asked the rep what happens if you can't resolve my issue, and the response was not good. SO basically they caused me to lose all my music and then ontop of that, they wanted to charge me $60.00 just to tell me that "yes your music is gone, and no we can't get it back." what a company. There is no option on iPhone 4 with O2 for personal hotspot. I do have a contract and O2 after a lot of discussion and updates said I should contact Apple for help

I have and iPhone 4 with the latest 4.3.3 software and have confirmed with O2 I have the personal hotspot option contract. After 2 days of reloading the software on hard and soft resets, I still do not have an option on my phone for personal hotspot or tethering. O2 suggested I now try Apple for help. Any suggestions?

On your phone, Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings...does Personal Hotspot appear now?

My friend wants to put music on their iPhone 5C but they do not have a laptop with iTunes that hasn't been associated with another iPhone/iPod. Is there any way they can skip linking their phone to the iTunes and JUST get the music?

The iPhone has not been associated with any iTunes as I was a little scard to connect it to mine as I do not want all my friend's apps on my phone. Also, we use different apple IDs so would we be able to have two apple IDs associated with one computer?

Your friend can get a new Apple Id for themselves, and create a different account on one of the laptops. Then put all their music in a separate iTunes library, and sync the phone to that particular library.
This will keep there music separate from your library and their brother's library.
Just make another User on your computer for your friend to store their music in.

Magic trackpad is bending (where can I contact Apple for help?)

Hi! For about two years ago i bought a Magic Trackpad (with my Mac mini) and after normal use it started to bend! :O I don't know why, but it has stood on a table when i have used since I got it. My question is where can I send a messages to Apple about this? It's really annoying to use as it is now.
And I also have a problem with if it gets shaked just a tiny bit it turn it self off..

Did your carrier give you a deal on the iPhone4s? Did you pay less than the Apple cost for that iPhone4s? Do you have a contract with you carrier? If yes then that is why the carrier does not unlock the iphone. And also that is why Apple will not unlock any iphone.
You must talk to your carrier to get them to unlock it.

I have updated my iPad and lost everything because my only option on iTunes was to update and restore. The update was very strange because I pressed install, I had enough space for the update and I agreed to the terms and conditions. My iPad turned to a black page with a picture of connecting to iTunes, I couldn't get it off my screen even when I plugged it into iTunes. to update and restore my iPad was my only option and if I plugged my iPad out my screen would still say plug into iTunes. You should be able to see all your Purchased Music in your iTunes Account and you can download that Music to your iPhone during a Sync. First step look under Purchases in iTunes.

How do I contact Apple for help?

I'm going insane. I waited on hold for something like half an hour before I had to leave for class. Is there an email address for service and support?
I need help with the scratch issue. I've had my ipod nano for about a week and a half, I've been extremely careful with it, haven't dropped it, haven't stuck it in my pocket with my keys or anything like that. The thing is already scratched up like crazy despite my best efforts. I don't know what to do! Is there a way I can fix it without mailing it back? (I am already convinced that I can not survive 24 hours without my nano, lol) One of my friends mentioned plastic polish, but I'm wary of putting anything wet on my nano just because one person (who doesn't have an ipod) said so. Has anyone else tried this?
And is there a case out there that will actually protect it from scratching? I can't make any sense of the different types of cases. Do they just look different or are do they actually have different uses?
Sorry if I sound like a total fool. Please help, any advice is greatly appreciated!

I have to agree with Prune and Jeffdc. If you are new to Apple discussions..It's best to use search words to find out info that's already been answered hundreds of times.
Apple does not have an email address, it would be impossible for them to answer endless e-mails, but their phone number is listed all over this site. Technical assistance number is 1-800-275-2273 Good luck- There are cases that protect Ipods and cleaners that remove scratches that many people have already suggested. Search scratches cleaners etc. etc.

How do I contact Apple for refund if I was double charged within an app?

ICal and Address Book no longer syncing with iPhone - HELP!

I am a long time Apple user and rely heavily on my iPhone to keep me where I need to be, when I need to be there. I have an iPhone 4 and it is running OS 6.0.1. Everything was working fabulously until recently. Sadly I don't know when the problems started--when I updated to OS 6 OR when I updated iTunes to version 11. Either way, my iCal and Address Book no longer sync with my iPhone. And to add insult to injury, my phone is no longer automatically detecting the AT&T microcell I have in my house. I have to reboot my phone every time I come back in the house--talk about annoying.
I am not super techy, so I am hoping someone can help me with this. I LIVE by my iPhone and as a self-employed person, I can't afford for this device to stop giving me information. I also don't want to do entries on my phone AND computer everytime something changes. I do not want to go back to the more reliable paper calendar and address book.
I have iCloud turned on, and it appears to sync my address book with my iPhone. But I seem to be a mess with iCal and my desktop. And between iCal/Adress Book on my computer and iPhone, nothing is talking.

IPod no longer syncs with computer

My iPod will no longer sync with my laptop. I keep getting the following message:
"The iPod "JRT's iPod" cannot be syned. You do not have enough access privledges for this operation."
Apple told me tht it was a problem with my Norton 360 software. I have since removed the software and the problem still persists.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
New cable and different USB port?
Runs this and see if the results help with determine the cause
