HT1386 i updated my ipod touch to 6.1.2 and now my music won't synch, but everything else does. how can i synch my music?

i updated my ipod touch to my laptop, which already is synched to my iphone.
i transferred all the apps and data and it updated successfully to 6.1.2.
but now i can't synch my music library or any playlist that i've checked off.
are music libraries not allowed to be shared off the same itunes?
all the apps were shared.

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

What iTunes are you running now?
What OS X system are you running are your computer now? Or is this a Windows machine?

So I updated my Ipod touch to the newest software on my pc laptop which is windows 7. The software update wiped all of my songs and apps off of my Ipod. This is not that big of a deal because the songs and apps are still in my library and apps folder in itunes on my computer. The problem is, when I go to sync all my songs and apps back onto my ipod the tracks and apps are not syncing. It's almost as if the computer thinks all the songs are still already on the ipod but they are not. What do I do here?

Have you tried a hard reset of your device yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, you may need to connect it to iTunes and restore it from a previous backup and to factory settings after that if necessary.

When it was dead i put it on a charger. once it got charged up it started turning on with the apple symbol. then it turned white again and then restarted without me touching anything. When it restarted it turned the blue again. i took it off the charger immediantly because i didnt want it getting as hot as it was before. ive tried every way i know how to fix it but not putting it in the computer because i dont want it to ruin the computer. Please help because i really dont want to get a new ipod. Ive read a lot about how to fix it here on apple but there all the same answer and it still doesnt work. Please respond ASAP! thank you! i could really use your help right now!

First see if placing the iPod in Recovery Mode will allow a restore.
Next try DFU mode and restore.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Are you sure you really do not have a 2G iPod? Those can only go to 4.2.1

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
