HT1386 IOS7 & New Itunes
Outlook does not have any duplicates in Contacts, Calendar, or Notes yet when synced to IPhone get duplicates in all three
Reset Phone, delselected all three and resynced no help. Removed all three from Outlook and synced and all three were now empty.
Then reinstalled in all three of Outlook and synced with same duplicates in all three. Selected in Itunes replace all no help
I recieve this error message in Windows 8.1 with my iPhone 5 OS 7.04 (11B554a), and itunes 11.1.3 when trying to connect my iphone to itunes:
itunes could not connect to this iphone. an unknown error occurred (0xE000003).

after this new itunes and ios7 update all my music is off my ipod touch unless i download them one artist at a time, i have over 3500 songs in there. really? is there no easier way to get my music back into my ipod? like a download all button? thanks.
thanks for the reply. guess i'll have to do that. apple, not really happy with what you've done with this latest update. have not been able to enjoy my music in my car since the update. most of us dont mind changes that progress timely, but this was much more than just a progression. this was a complete change. and not a good one, at all. thanks to the two people that replied. appreciate it.

I updated my 4s to ios7 and the phone is now completly dead. I tried to restore it with the new itunes but it won't restore. If you can't get the download be glad! Anyone have any ideas other than going out and buying a new Samsung phone? I don't really need a paper weight.
No not jailbroken. After the update which took about 45 minutes. The phone went black. Dead. Wouldn't restart. Using the new itunes I tried to restore it. It went through the motions; the white Apple and progress bar appeared on the iphone screen. Then I got a message "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." Then the phone went completly dead again. I Repeated the process and got the same results. Is there another way to restore the phone if it's dead, besides itunes?

Downloaded new ios7 and new itunes 11.1 and now iphone 4 won't finish syncing - just stays on last step and never finishes or cancels on its own. Tried reinstalling itunes with no success.
I have the same problem.. latest version of iTunes (11.1.5) and latest version of ios (7.1) but it gets stuck at "waiting for changes to be applied" and I can't cancel the sync manually. It doesn't cancel on it's own either (at least not the 8 hours over night that it was syncing) and if I unmount the phone then the phone keeps the sync going (the little spinning arrows in the upper left corner) and doesn't recognize that it's been disconnected..
I've tried restoring the phone (with little success, managed to get one more song on there) and syncing over wi-fi but nothing seems to work. Any thoughts, anyone? -
IOS7 update "requires" new iTunes, but I have the latest version?
Attempting to update iPhone 4S to iOS 7 I get a message that a newer version if iTunes (11.0.5) is required. That's the version I have! Attempts to install it don't do anything. Attempts to go ahead and get iOS7 keep bringing me back to the new iTunes is required pop-up.
Any suggestions?Try this if you're using a PC with Windows, go into My computer, manage, services and applications, then in services, click to drop down services. Check if "iPhone Mobile device service" is listed.
If not, uninstall iTunes, manual reboot, and then reinstall 11.1.
Then go back to services and doubled clicked the iPhone Mobile device and opened it to see the service had been stopped. Restart it and be sure to check it is in automatic. Reboot the phone. Connect to a USB2 port (Not USB3 - Some USB3 ports have issues) Make sure to use original cable. Then opene iTunes to see it recognized the iPhone right away. -
There's no agree button on the new iTunes terms and conditions, so I can't buy any apps for my iPhone5, with iOS7. Any suggestions? Three E-mail exchanges with Apple didn't help,can you?
Yes me too, tried re setting and enabling changes but no agree button anywhere?

I have recently updated my computer since my old one broke and therefore had to download a new iTunes. When I came to add my iPod to this new iTunes, I was given no option to transfer the contents of my iPod library to this new iTunes and was forced to try 'sync'; when my old computer was repaired once we lost all of our data so I had to download a new iTunes then,all of my iPod downloads were transferred and I could easily reburn my CDs so I didn't think the wiping of my iPod would be a problem. When I clicked 'sync' it warned me that it would replace the contents of my iPod with the new iTunes library, as I said I didn't think this would be a problembut then it asked if it should transfer my recent iTunes downloads so I said 'yes'. The sync was completed but now I only have 4 downloaded songs and 5 albums which I burned to my new iTunes! I have lost all the music I bought, all the videos I bought and all the audiobooks I bought! (Luckily I still have my apps.) I tried to restore backup but realised that only covers calendars, contacts E.T.C and I checked my iTunes account and that shows all my downloads but I can't see a way to restore them or anything like that!
Please help! I am in despair as you can imagine how much moneys worth I have lost and am losing faith in AppleCorrect. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

My system got crashed and I dont have backup fo my iphone.... now how do i synch my iphone with new itunes without loosing my data ?

When I connect my iPod Touch to a new laptop (Macbook Air) the "Info" tab won't appear and therefore I cannot sync it with my new iTunes. How can I sync this iPod with the iTunes on my new laptop?
There is no Info tab in Mavericks

how do i sync my audible book to my ipod touch. i see it in my itunes library but with the new itunes look..it is not allowing me to drag it to my ipod?
i find the new look quite un-user friendly. also cannot see my summary tab anymore.You have to update to 10.6.8 first.

In the new iTunes where is the sync options? I used to see an icon on the left side while the sync was happeneing, then click on it to make changes.
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing and follow the instructions. -
Since I downloaded the new itunes it does not open up showing my iphone or ipad. I don't know how to sync anything.
Are you using a different computer than the one the phone originally synced to? An iPhone can only sync to one computer at a time.

I do not have a list of "devices on the left hand side" to select iphone from when I try to sync my phone. I have never seen that list. How do i get it?
