ITunes not syncing with my new iPhone
My new iPhone is syncing mail and calender with Exchange. However, it will not sync with iTunes. I had one successful sync and the rest of the time is says it cannot read it due to "unknown error." Has anyone had this experience? Andy suggestions?
Also, I can't seem to figure out how to access renting videos via iTunes wirelessly on my iPhone. I cannot find the category for movies or videos on the display. Any advice?

HT4436 calendars are not syncing with my latest iphone
I used to subscribe to Mobile Me and was offered a trial subscription when the system moved to icloud. However Ive noticed that diary events entered on my Macbook Pro OXS 10.6.8 no longer sync with my iphone ( latest model) even though icloud shows on my iphone, an anyone help, ive noticed in system preferences mobile me is still showing instead of icloud, does this mean i have to upgrade software to keep using the sync feature?
10.6.8 does not support iCloud (other than mail) you need to upgrade to Lion (10.7) or Mountain Lion (10.8) in order for this to work. Take care to ensure that your Mac is compatible and that you have no PPC programs as they will not work on Lion or Mountain Lion.

My photos are not syncing with my new iPad Mini.
I have an iPhone 4s, iPad 3 and now a Mini. I increased my iCloud storage but no luck with the mini photo stream. Any ideas of how to fix this?
Are you sure that you set up the same account all your devices (Settings > iCloud) and activated photo stream. By the way, more storage capacity will not affect the iCloud photo stream it will only increas the storage space for app data like files for pages, numbers etc. and give you more room for backups.

Since Mavericks update my iPhone and iPad calendars
are NOT syncing with the calendar on my MacBook Pro.
I used to use iTunes but don't see the options now.
Does anyone know how to set up a sync.?I have temporarily solved the sync problem by using an older MBAir running snow leopard, I exported
both calendar and contacts and imported them in the MBA and synced normally.
Since I'm not about to send my data on the cloud, or setup a server to just sync my iphone,
I think this is a good workaround ! BTW I stopped updating my contacts and calendar on the MB, I only
update the iphone until a permanent solution is found !
And they better come up with one soon, because I'll just switch to an Android phone and Ubuntu linux for my MBP, Apple should make our lives easier, not harder !
I'm sure Samsung is having a ball ever since the sync issue was made public !

Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back. -

It's alright, I don't have a Mac so I get confused too. The option key should be somewhere to the left of the space bar and look like it is trying to represent railway points.
I don't know how migration assistant works, but presumably it has dumped an iTunes folder somewhere on the Mac. Inside that should be a file called iTunes Library.itl that is the core of the library. Unfortunately iTunes "thinks different" so we can't just double click the file to open it, that opens whatever the "current" library is instead, so you'll need to hold down option (shift for Windows) to get a dialog to choose or create a library. Click choose and browse to the relevant file.
If iTunes can't play your music at this point and gives the exclamation mark of doom then we need to go back to the Windows 7 library, tweak it up for easy export then bring it over again. Overview here. Customized instructions on request.

Voices are not sync with video after upgrade to imovie11
After the upgrade to Imovie11, the voices are not sync with the movie.
I digitaled a lot of Sony Handicam Video 8 (HI8) tapes, also many other tapes.
All the movies, incl. the new ones, has the problem with de voices.I gather you are using DV files. Here's what you should expect after upgrading to version 9.0.2 of iMovie '11: if you have event-clips that are longer than an hour and half you will have a noticeable lack of synchronization near the end of the clip. The only way I know of reducing the gap between audio and video while still using iMovie '11 is to open the file in QuickTime 7 (not X) and trim the file so that only the footage your tying to fix is left. Save that shortened file and import it into iMovie. It should seem synchronized now. But there is probably a remaining problem: the picture quality is has been lowered by being in iMovie. To check this, open you DV files in MPEG Streamclip. If there is no improvement in quality, you're lucky. When I play my DV files (from Video8--the original analog 8mm video) in MPEG Streamclip the color and tones are much richer. In iMovie '11 (and, I think, iMovie '09), the picture is washed out, lacking color saturation and general subtlety. This makes all makes iMovie '11 (at least) essentially useless for DV files--if my experience is generalizable. What I don't know at this point is whether these two kinds of problems (lack of synchronization and picture degradation) are avoidable by using iMovie '06 or Final Cut Express.

I started getting appointments I create on iphone 4s in blue instead of the green that is usual. I am also noticing that these appointments that are in blue are not syncing with my other calendars on my other devices. Icloud is enabled and calendars is checked. This just started happening...

The receiver app has a specific list of servers it's compatible with, if the server is not on the list the app won't work in OS X.

I'm having difficulty syncing my iCal between my home computer and iPhone. New entries from my home are not syncing with the phone and vice-versa. I didn't have any problems with this before until the latest phone update. Any suggestions?
It could be that the existing wire in your appartment is not clean enough to provision DSL only. When combined with the phone possibly it has a higher line voltage and worked before. Now that the line is to be provisioned without phone service it may be giving them trouble that did not show before they came out and ran the new line test. So a new jack dedecated for your DSL line may require a new wire be run to your appartment. Also the account for internet only used to require direct billing to a credit card or something else. This was a number of years ago. Most accounts are linked to a phone number, and without a voice number it adds to the confusion.
If you are getting the voice and everything turned on as before, then I am at a loss for words.
