I just got an Iphone 5, I have an ipod classic 160. everything in my itunes is on my ipod and fuctions fine. I synced part of my mysic and disney movies with my iphone and the playlist is largely grey and wont work on the phone. What did I do wrong?

You cannot access the music on iphone from a different computer.
Iphone will sync/access music with ONE computer.

They will not play because they are protected.
You likely bought them before itunes + (drm free music).

Yes, this is very frustrating. OK, I have a lot of songs on my iPod and in iTunes that were transferred from CDs. Only the 'purchased' songs from iTunes show up on my phone, not the 3,000+ songs I physically downloaded from said CDs. On the screen of my iPhone, the songs are in grey and next to it in red is a circle with a square inside (similar to when you download an APP) but it won't download. I am now trying the 'home sharing' that I found in an old post and syncing the phone, again, to see if that helps. I think I am going to have to make a trip to an Apple store. When you have grayed out songs on your iPhone, those songs didn't completely transfer over. I found some articles that will guide you in syncing.

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work (or if you can't get to the homescreen) then do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Okay. I am totally in a bad situtation. I have IOS 6 and 2 things have gone wrong. The Music app where you have your music, is bad. I have songs and stuff. And when i touch a song nothing happens. You will need to restore your phone as a new one using the itunes on your computer. This WILL erase everything on the phone but it will let you change the name of the phone and then you can add content to it.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Connect the device to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select iPhone, iPad, or iPod in the Devices list.
Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos".
Click Apply.
Even when you have enabled manual management, you can still sync some content automatically. Select any content tab, such as Video, to enable automatic syncing for that type of content.

Ipad apps are greyed and say waiting, but can open them from app button

The apps were reloaded after the ipad was reset, but only about 1/3 loaded. The rest are grey, and say "waiting" under them. In the app icon, they all show up as loaded, and can be opened, but from the home screen, nothing happens when the app is tapped.

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

I'm assuming that Rosersberg is in Sweden (?). If it is then you are in a country where music can't currently be re-downloaded from the store, only apps and ibooks. If you still have your old computer with your music on it then you should be able to copy it over from it e.g. via file sharing, an external drive : copying content.

Mackeeper moved my files to my trash so i pulled them out of my trash to my desktop it has copied them to my desktop as well as kept them in my trash!!

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.

In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
Failure to remove MacKeeper will result from neglecting any one of these points:
Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
Don't empty the Trash after dragging the application to it. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
Don't try to drag the MacKeeper icon in the Dock to the Trash.
