    If you can't copy your purchases by right clicking on it in the device list and choosing "transfer purchases", download the apps again for free: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    Music can only be downloaded once.

  • "Alarm on Silent" in Calendar does not work on E65

    I'm not sure what other phones are affected by this but this could cause some problems for people.
    On the Nokia PC Suite calendar, it is good for E65 users to realise that the Alarm On Silent does not work. If you select this option, there will be no alarm reminder for your calendar item. The time will pass by like nothing happened. No pop up. No alarm sound. Good to know before you miss a meeting by selecting Alarm on Silent.
    The anomoly is that if you look at your phone, the phone shows that an "alarm" has been set for that calendar item. It just won't happen. However... if you editted your calendar item on your phone, say, change the time, it is now set to be an Alarm With Sound item. On the PC Suite, even after your item has been changed to have an alarm with sound on your phone, it will still show as an Alarm on Silent item... which we've discussed above is no alarm at all.
    Perhaps the developers for PC Suite may want to make note of this?

    Hi mye65,
    What does your phone says if you type *#0000# on your phone ???
    When i checked this issue Nokia E 65 V 4.0633.74.00 RM-208, i received an alarm on the phone with calendar tone.  I have connected this phone using CA-53, nokia pc suite version 7.1.26.0, XP SP-3.
    Does your phone has got latest firmware ?
    Even if calender entry is edited on the phone, if switch over from calender to messages on Nokia pc suite's main menu pane(Not in communication centre), some sort of refresh to the edited calender entry on the phone, it reflected as Alarm with sound item correctly.
    Again the edited time in calender entry pop-uped on the phone with alarm tone without any issue...

    Under the Preferences box , the Backup/Sync Agent does not open. I can't alter or change anything. When I sign in , my sign in and password are both accepted ,however where the Welcome is on top, it used to say Welcome, with my first name. It does not do this anymore. When I try to upload my pics to Photoshop.com it states I am not logged in. No one at Adobe has been able to help after 4 months .

  • HT1386 Does this work for anyone?  For a company who spouts "It Just Works" this WiFi sync just does not work.

    What's up with WiFi sync?  Is there a trick to it?  I get it to work once and then it just doesn't work again.  I have an iPhone 5, iPad 3, iOS 6, IMac 2011, latest OS and iTunes, a Cisco E4200. How the heck do you make it work?

    Is your computer ON while you're trying to sync through wifi?  Sync through wifi will work only if your computer is running at the same time.

  • IPhone wired sync - calendar does not sync

    Hi - I have given up on mobileme.
    However I have a problem when I go into itunes/info. I can set the calendar for sync "all calendars", however when I hit apply the calendar sync button clears and does not sync.
    I have tried a few things without joy:
    - rebooted phone (mobile me is disabled - account deleted)
    - removed syncfolders
    Any ideas what is causing the "wired sync" not to work ?

    Hi repeated issues with data inconsistency errors with contacts. I tried all the fixes highlighted which would fix it for a few days and then it would return.
    Plus I have a lot of shared calendars - as mobileme does not support updating over the air for anything other your own calendar I had to connect to the apple anyway.
    I live in hope !

  • Custom Color coding of SharePoint Calendar does not work on a site collection that uses olso master page

    Hi,
    I created a color coded calendar following instructions below specified at the below URL.
    http://davidlozzi.com/2012/06/20/customize-the-sharepoint-calendar-colors/
    however, My Site collection uses oslo master page and because it does not show quick launch, I don't see the legend of the color coded colors.
    Is it possible to make above solution work with oslo master page?
    Please help...
    techie

    Hi,
    Can you provide a screenshot of your page about how the calendar looks like in your environment?
    As you said, “I don't see the legend of the color coded colors”, is it mean that the list of overlays on the right side of the page disappears when applying oslo master
    page?
    In my environment, after applying the oslo master page and adding overlay to the current Calendar view, it will be like this:
    It turns out that the list of overlays still there.
    Feel free to reply if this is not what you really mean.
    Thanks

  • Iphone 6 and Ford Sync Bluetooth Does Not Work

    Brand new iPhone 6 paired with My Ford Sync in a 2014 Escape.
    Bad news, the bluetooth phone features simply do not work.  You can initiate a call form the Sync and the phone will dial and connect, but 5 seconds into the call the bluetooth disconnects the phone audio and returns you to your radio or whatever source you were listening to.
    The call appears to remain active on the iPhone but you can't access it.
    Sure hope Apple or Microsoft/Ford step up to fix this soon it is a real show stopper.
    Nothing like in the field beta testing.

    I had a similar problem with my 2011 Ford Fusion and brand new iPhone 6 received yesterday.  I restored my iPhone 5 to my new iPhone 6 when I received it.  My iPhone 6 has the same device name as the iPhone 5 did.  I was able to pair my iPhone 6 with Sync easily, but Sync would only ring on incoming calls.  I could not answer the incoming call or initiate calls through Sync.  I was able to correct the problem this morning by:
    1) Forgetting This Device (Sync) in the Bluetooth application in the iPhone 6,
    2) Deleting All Devices in the Sync Phone Bluetooth menu.
    3) Re-pairing the iPhone 6 with Sync.
    Apparently the same phone name stored in Sync from the iPhone 5 was corrupting the settings for the iPhone 6 using the same device name.
    I hope this helps.  Good luck!

  • Sync password does not work

    My hard drive was starting to crash and I was going to have someone come out and put in a new one for me. I couldn't find out how to back up my info so I figured I could sync my info and get it from firefox later. I wrote down the password and saved it in a file that I later recovered from my hard drive. The password, name, and sync password do not get me my information. I know the sync password is correct because I got it down twice. I really really need some of that information and I can't just create a new sync password since my old hardrive is long gone and creating a new password says it will delete the old saved information. Please, please, please, tell me there is something I can do to retrieve my info?
    I can sign in to my sync account

    Does the password work at https://account.services.mozilla.com/ ?

  • Vista Calendar does not work for me in newest vers...

    I have tried the newest version of Vista Calendar sync on Nokia PC Suite (6.85++) and it is buggy.
    In one instead, I selected the calendar type (Vista) and name (Mark's Calendar) in the Sync settings in PC Suite, and when I synched both ways, and then went into calendar, the entries were not there. And also, Windows Calendar had now a new calendar for me, called "Mark's Calendar (2)".
    Then, on another occasion, when I selected to force the updating direction ONLY TO the computer (i.e. copy all entries from phone to computer) only some events get copied (the recurring ones). And I can't seem to get the direction FROM the computer TO the mobile's calendar.
    For example, I set up a day in the Vista Calendar, Christmas, December 25. It just doesn't show up in the mobile calendar, even when I force the direction (FROM VISTA TO PHONE). Yet, it sometimes works the OTHER way around (but flakily).
    In one instance, I managed to get a recurring event sundays at 1 PM to copy from phone to computer, but then when I did a second synchronization, it somehow created a duplicate event, same time, but Sundays at 7 AM, in addition to the 1 PM one that already existed.
    Anyway, all in all, this thing isn't working for me just yet, it's too buggy, and I would love to hear feedback from anyone on any aspect of this. I never had Outlook installed on this machine. If a Nokia rep is reading this, please get back here or by email.

    Hi, you are absolutely right, its very buggy, but only with Vista, so could be 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. If you go to Import you can import the transferred data from the base calendar to the current one. Using latest Nokia suite / CA53 cable and 6234(firmware updated) and its fine in both directions on XP and Outlook '97

  • JDBC Async-Sync bridge does not work

    Hi folks.
    I read the how to guide “How To Realize a sync-async and async-sync bridge within the Adapter Framework” and I found some tips at SDN (i.e File - RFC - File without a BPM - Possible from SP 19.) . So on, I created a scenario JDBC<=>SOAP.
    My scenario:
    1 JDBC adapter sends an async request to SOAP
    2 SOAP creates an object in its system and then sends a sync confirmation response to the sender (async JDBC adapter Receiver)
    Module Tab of JDBC Sender
    Processing Sequence
    AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean          1
    CallSapAdapter                    2
    AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean     3
    Module Configuration
    1 passThrough     true
    3 adapterNamespace     http://sap.com/xi/XI/System
    3 adapterType          JDBC
    3 receiverChannel     JDBC_Object_Receiver
    3 receiverService     Legacy_Service
    The problem is the scenario works fine until an error is detected on communication channel (Receiver). Any kind of error, as communication problem, insert/update problem or procedure types problem. When this thing happens, communication channel (Sender) posts the next message and a persist error appears, like that
    <SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
    <SAP:Code area="PERSIST">MSGGUID_EXISTING</SAP:Code>
    <SAP:Stack>Message ID XXXX for pipeline CENTRAL, version already exists in system</SAP:Stack>
    <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
    After this, all the next messages remain at "Processing started".
    This persist error message becomes constant in the system. It is executed once an hour approximately.
    I have already tried solving this problem deleting the adapter and recreated it again, but the behavior remains the same.

    Someone can help me?
    Regards
    Rafael

    Hey Rafael,
    I've heard of ur problem by Carol Garcia.
    I still think the problem was related to the fact that you were commiting the work at JDBC adapter, even though your DB (it was Oracle, right?) supports internal commit. I do aggree that this scenario should work for non-commiting DBs, though. Thus it is a bug, and the note is relevant.
    Anyway, did you try to commit the work at DB side? I think it should have resolved your case (even though the bug would still exist, but it would not impact you).
    Regards,
    Henrique.

  • Calendar does not work properly!!! Why? Please help...

    Hello everybody!
    I'm getting problems with calendar and I don't know what to do...
    I'm in Brazil, Sao Paulo and I instantiate the Calendar class like this:
    Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
    System.out.println(cal.getTime());
    when i do this the time that is shown is one hour ahead the current time here in Brazil... So I tried to take the time from my Operating System like this
    Date t = new Date();
    t.setTime(System.currentTimeMillis());
    cal.setTime(t);
    System.out.println(cal.getTime());
    and... The same thing happens! What I know is that the summer time in Brazil has changed and I can't even take the time from my OS...
    Please... It's causing inconsistencies in our Database... Does anybody know how to solve this?
    Thanks a lot...

    Run this and see what you get:
    (I'm not formatting this code so that it will copy with line breaks)
    import java.util.*;
    public class TimezoneDefault {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    int hoursToMillisec = 3600 * 1000;
    TimeZone tz = TimeZone.getDefault();
    System.out.println("Default time zone id: " + tz.getID());
    System.out.println("Default time zone: " + tz.getDisplayName());
    System.out.println("Offset from GMT: " + (double)tz.getRawOffset() / hoursToMillisec);
    System.out.println((tz.useDaylightTime()) ? "uses DST": "no DST");
    System.out.println("DST value: " + (double)tz.getDSTSavings() / hoursToMillisec);
