I have reinstalled itunes times and I am having issues to sync music with my laptop as it comes up with a message saying sync session failed could someone please assist

Do you still have the CD or a backup of the music that you can put back on your computer. I have read that there are apps that will let you get information from the phone to the computer. I don't recall if anyone ever gave any suggestions. You may need to search this forum or do an internet search. Sorry I couldn't help.

Wireless Configurations
Ensure the default (linksys) SSID name is changed. Ensure that different SSID names are used between each WiFi 2.4/5Ghz radios for dual band routers. Can be anything and not something that's already in use by any neighbouring WiFi routers.
What wireless modes are you using?
Try Mixed mode, single mode G or N or mixed G and N on 2.4Ghz and single mode N or Mixed on 5Ghz?
Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.

Sync error with heavy music/video files

Hi. Ever since i've updated to 1.1.4 i have started getting this sync error whenever i try to upload heavy files (over 150mb) on my iphone:
"The Iphone,"M'sIphone" cannot be synced. The disc could not be read from or written to."
What could be the problem? This only happens when there are heavy files. If i remove those videos or music then the sync goes thru just fine.
Also, didnt have this problem earlier. Only started after i updated to 1.1.4.

I've not noticed this issue, and I have moved several movies over, and they fall into the 500-600MB range. Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps? Try to power the phone off/on, then try a reset. That is accomplished by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button together until you see the Apple logo, then releasing. Ignore the screen with the slide to power off option. If that doesn't seem to do it, it could be one of the files is having a problem. You say that eliminating all of them lets the sync work. Do you have USB 2.0 ports? Try to add just one file at a time to the sync and then see when the sync finally fails. It could be something corrupt in one of the files, and you might be able to elimiate the one by this method. If possible, then redo that particular file, be it a music file from CD or video, and then try again. See if any of this helps.

PC Suite Error in transfer music

I am using Windows Vista x64, and PC suite v6.83.14.1. whenever i try to transfer music using TRANSFER MUSIC i get a error.Now i am unable to upload songs to my device(N70 ME).I manually Copy and paste songs to memory card, is it the right way to do..? Tried reinstalling PC suite, didnt work!

You can copy-paste tracks to your phone using Nokia Phone Browser.

users and does a couple other services. When the web service it
configured to connect to 1 of the 2 eDirectory servers (1 is a master,
and the other is read/write replica) then everything works just fine
(both server work just fine as long as you only connect to one of them
only). However, we tried to add redundancy by putting a load balancer
in front of the 2 eDir servers. When we use the VIP to make the LDAP
connection, we keep on getting this error when we try to create a user:

Can you tell us more about the changes taking place? For example, I
believe this can happen if you modify objectA on replica0 and then modify
objectA in another way on replica1. Timestamps on objects are made up of
the seconds since 1970 followed by a replica number (each replica's is
unique) and then an event number. As a result perhaps eDir feels time is
out of sync when it makes a change on a box and then the other replica
synchronizes in changes it received just a second earlier from your
application. It may be tricky to isolate if this is the case but it
should be possible with a bit of analysis. In the meantime you may want
to ensure your application (or your VIP) batches changes to one box and
then to the other as much as possible. The benefit of multi-master
replication (which eDirectory does by default) is you can write changes to
multiple boxes simultaneously, but the challenge is the same and requires
a way to resolve differences using transitive vectors which are made up of
those timestamps.

Error when searching music in iTunes

On my iPad (purchased in Los Angeles where I use it) when I have iTunes open and I want to search for music to download, I use the upper-right search window. When I type in an artist's name, say Ray Charles for instance, iTunes shows a long list of options for his music. When I choose any of the displayed items, I get an error message that says "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested in not currently available in the U.S. Store." I can download any song listed on the front iTunes cover page, but I get that error when searching for any artist. I was on the phone with Apple for over an hour today about this, and I stumped them. Any ideas? Thanks.

Since Apple couldn't figure this out.. I'll give it a shot.
Tap Settings / General. Turn on Location Services
Then in General tap Date & Time. Make sure you have the correct time zone selected.
If nothing above has helped, you didn't mention what troubleshooting Apple suggested so I'm hoping if they didn't suggest you restore the iPad's software, that may help.

Sync error when creating translation of application

When applying a translation file and publish the application we get the following error:
ORA-20001: Sync error: WWV_FLOW_PAGE_PLUGS.PLUG_NAME ORA-01407: cannot update ("FLOWS_030000"."WWV_FLOW_PAGE_PLUGS"."PLUG_NAME") to NULL
For another very simple test application in the same workspace I did not run into this problem.

These instructions were not fully implemented.
It was necessary to copy file jstl.jar into directory :
$OTM/glog/gc3webapp/WEB-INF/lib/3rdparty
After that, the above problem has been resolved.

Ipod sync error when syncing on new computer

I tried to sync my ipod to my new computer and when i connected it i clicked transfer my apps. This resulted in an error, and now it cannot sync to the new computer, and it wiped out all my apps, including the ones I paid for. Can anyone help?

Others have had this same issue with their iPhones in Windows 7 here. The same troubleshooting should apply. Some of the steps here may be worth trying.

Error when importing music CD into iTunes

I am trying to import an audio CD to iTunes. I have a (newish) macbook air using OSX 10.9.3, so I am using a Samsung Portable DVD Writer (SE-208).
iTunes can play the music file from the cd, but when I try to import a track/cd I get the following error message: "Error occurred while converting the file <song name>. The required disk cannot be found."
I have tried importing in different file formats, but I get the same error message each time. Please help!

Since your error message suggests that iTunes is finding the music to be ripped, I suspect that it isn’t finding the folder the music is supposed to be stored in. Open iTunes preferences and select the Advanced tab. If you store your music on your computer in the iTunes folder you should see: /Volumes/Music/iTunes in the first box labeled iTunes Media Folder Location. If you see something else, or if you store the music on an external drive, click on the Change button and select the folder where you want the ripped files to be placed.
