HT1386 Sync portions of songs
Is there any way to just sync parts of songs to my itpod touch from itunes? A couple of songs I want to delete a portion of them and just sync over from the 2:00 minute mark to the 6:00 minute mark of the song for example.
If yo go to iTunes>Music library>the song in question>Get Info>Options you can set a start and stop time. However, I do not know it it synced that way too. Try it. Otherwise you will have to edit the songs on another program.

Don´t sync all my songs, from a list 3 songs don´t pass to the iphone, but i see it in my computer in Itunes... What can i do??
What happened to them? They can't just disappear? Have you changed computers or re-loaded the OS since the last time you synced? Do you have a backup of your computer from when they were present in iTunes? Were they ever present in iTunes?

When I hook my ipod up to my mac I used to get the Itunes has detected an ipod that appears to be corrupted error message. It would then sync all my song to the ipod but when I ejected it, none of the songs would be on the ipod. Now I hook it up and I get the Mac OS X can't repair the disk error message. Then the spinning colored pinwheel pops up and I can't use iTunes. Please HELP!!!!!!
Sounds like your iPod is broken. Take it to Apple or someone else who repairs iPods and see if you can get it fixed, or get it replaced.

My iPod won't sync, and two songs won't download?
FIRST QUESTION: alright. i'm not exactly sure what happened, so i will list all the possibilities.
my ipod has been in my bag for... a while. it was in there with a few pens and pencils.
i was downloading songs from the itunes store this morning and some of them didn't download correctly.
i restored my ipod to it's original settings.
here's the problem:
i plugged my ipod into my computer to sync the new songs i got from the itunes store because well.. they're not on my ipod yet. and when i plugged it in, the following message came up:
"attempting to copy to the disk "andrea's ipod" failed.the disk could not be red from or written to."
what does this mean? how do i fix it?
SECOND QUESTION: i bought a few songs today (as i mentioned above) and two of them didn't work... the box isn't checked in, the words and what not are grey, and they have small grey sign of an exclamation mark next to it. i tried to delete them, but it didn't work, how do i fix it?If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:

Hello,i have a problem with the Ipod,is that the Ipod doesn't sync all the songs in my Itunes. I have 373 songs in my Ipod and 512 sons in my Itunes. What do i do?
Hello,
I take it you haven't unticked any of the songs listed on your iTunes Library? Also have you tried selecting all your songs which you wish to add to your iPod, and dragging them over your Devices "iPod Nano"; and seeing if that copies all songs on to your iPod?
Another idea is just check that your iPod has enough space for the rest of your songs to be added to your device.
Hope this helps. -

How can I just sync the checked songs from my iTunes to my iPod?
Okay, I cannot figure out how to sync my iPod (5th gen touch) with only the checked items.
I noticed on the summary page it says, "sync only checked songs and videos" well I have that box checked.
I have all my music checked that I want on my Ipod as well. So what am I doing wrong?
No music is syncing to my iPod?What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?

However during the process of adding new songs itunes crashed and i had to end task therefor not getting the chance to sync the new songs onto ipod nano. later when i plugged in my current ipod touch all my songs have disappeared and i cant find the original itunes library i had for it! is there anyway to get it back? i have tried pressing shift when opening itunes but still cant find the original itunes that i had!!
Since all of your music came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.
" it told me when i pluged hers in 2 ipods could not use the same account"
This is not true. You have misunderstood.
You can sync as many ipods/iphones/ipads as you like to one one library.
