HT1386 Synching stops at transfer of purchased products

The synching starts off all ok but when it gets to locating the purchased products the barbers pole stops rotating but it does get to the next step of transferring purchased products - the little bubble stays very little on the area where the Barbers pole was and then it dosnt finish. I just get an apple symbol in this area. I have tried to reset the iPad and stat it again and then I have turned it off over night and I still get the same result.

You can't delete Apple ID's. There is no way to do that. Just abandon it - don't use it any more that's all. If you entered credit card information into the second ID, you might want to remove that information from the account.
Are you sure that you are signed into the same account in iTunes on your computer that you are using for the iPad? If you are logged into one ID on the iPad and signed into another ID in iTunes on the computer, you will not be able to transfer those purchases.

I bought the 160 gig Apple tv so I could spare my macbook from iTunes content (The MB has a small harddrive). I unchecked the "sync TV show" option in iTunes (under the Apple tv). I have a very similar problem in that purchases I make on the ATV are shuttled off to my computer even before I have a chance to watch them. Nothing remains on the AppleTV except (strangely) a show I bought from iTunes months before I ever got the ATV. In order to watch anything, I have to either leave my computer turned off between the time I order and watch it; or I have to have my computer on in order to stream the show back to the ATV. I like the idea of syncing with the computer as a backup solution, but the ATV should be designed to prefer to keep unwatched material on its hard drive until some threshold storage level has been reached, and then it should move off older shows to make room for newer ones.

If yes, connect and select iPad on computer iTunes, right click and choose Transfer Purchases to transfer your purchases to computer iTunes.

Supposedly (according to mac users who I've seen post this in this community) they get a dialog when they plug their phone in asking them if they want to transfer their app purchases or if they want to synch their phone. I only get the option to synch my phone. So, how can I transfer my app purchases into my iTunes library? (I know how to back the phone up, I don't think that's the same thing).

The iTunes source list is where you select things like your Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, AudioBooks in your iTunes library, and where your iTunes playlists for music is located.
Selecting your iPhone under Devices in the iTunes source list is how you make your various selections for syncing content with iTunes on your computer.

This can be done by choosing the File menu in iTunes (if it doesn't appear, you may need to hit the 'Alt' button on your keyboard, it will appear at the top of the window), then Devices, then Transfer Purchases.
After connecting your device to the computer and its icon appears in iTunes, go to the File menu, then Devices, and choose Transfer Purchases from "(Your device name)".

I am trying to synch my iPhone with my computer, and new Apple ID. My iPhone is synced with another computer, but i have changed the Apple ID on my phone and authorized it on my computer. However, i can not transfer my purchases on to my new account. I have updated my phone, authorized the account on both my phone and my computer. And i do not wish to wipe my phone clean, because there is but one song on this new account. How do i transfer the music on my new account?

All content bought/downloaded from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it and it can't be transferred to a different account - so you will need to authorise your old account on that computer if you want to transfer its purchases over.

use tcode bd87 in SRM to check for failed confirmation IDOC (type MBGMCR).
The double click the status record to see the exact cause of the failure.
Rectify the error. Then try to execute the IDOC from BD87 tcode.
For a few errors you may not be able to execute the IDOC but to create a new confirmation in SRM. In such cases, follow the below procedure..
There should be an entry for the confirmation in the transfer table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB in SRM. Display the details.
Then run FM "BBP_DELETE_FROM_DOCUMENT_TAB" to delete the entry from the doc tab table.
Then post a new confirmation in SRM.
There is also a FM in SRM using which you can change the status of thefailed IDOC from 51 to 68 or 31.

How can I transfer AppleTV1 purchases to my iMac that is not synced to the AppleTV?

I have changed my notebook and meanwhile I have purchased musica and movies on AppleTV. Now if I try to synch it with my new Macbook it says that all the content that is on the AppleTV will be erased.
How can I make sure I will only add the new content to the iTunes on my new MacBook?
The iTunes account is still the same I used to have and the same I still use for purchases on the Apple TV.

You can't transfer purchases between Apple IDs / iTunes Store accounts.
But there's nothing to stop you using multiple Apple IDs. It just becomes a bit more complicated when updating apps as you have to make sure you are logged in to the iTunes account originally used to download the app.

There isn't an app for that!
As far as I can tell there is no option to give you that control. It is worth noting that apps can be withdrawn from the store at any time. Should your device need restoring you need all the apps in your library to transfer to it before the app data can be successfully restored. Pulling that all down from the cloud would be time consuming.
If space is becoming an issue you should consider moving the library to a bigger drive (which you should also backup to another).
As a temporary measure you could try deleting some larger apps using Finder from within iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications while keeping the entries in your library. iTunes may complain during syncs that it cannot copy apps to the device because they cannot be found, but it should not clear them from the device. Test first on a single app that doesn't have any data that you would mind losing in case the behavior has changed from the last time I tested it.

Ok, I have bought most of my apps on my device and when I sync it to iTunes I have to transfer my purchases. Yada yada yada. Anyway, one day I got tired of having to click it "Transfer" in pop-up window before it syncs and I checked the please don't show me this again thing. Then I figured it would always just auto transfer purchases. Apperently I was wrong. Now to tranfser my purchases, I have to cancel the sync very quickly, and manually transfer the purchases. is there a way to set it so iTunes AUTOMATICALLY transfers my purchases to iTunes so they will stop being deleted off my device. If it's impposible at least I just want to get the pop-up window back in iTunes. Thanks in advance

Well, one feature of iTunes 10.4 is that there's a option you can enable to automatically download the apps, books, and music that you purchase on other devices.
Simply go to iTunes preferences and then under the store menu you can enable the options you'd like.
As for your question, you might want to reset all dialogs in the advanced menu in the iTunes preferences. Then you'll get your dialog coming up again.

HT1386 synching calendars

I have an iPhone 5 and a macbook pro with OS X 10.6.8. I also have an iPod touch with iCal that I got with the laptop.
I am having trouble synching my calendar events. Sometimes events double up in my phone. Today, after I added events in iCalendar in my phone, the new events wouldn't synch over iCloud and show up in iCal in my macbook. I turned off iCloud synch for the iCal. This did add the new events to the laptop iCalendar, but, all the old events in iCal on the computer showed up with anywhere from 2 to 6 duplicates per event.
Please help!
