HT1386 When I try to skip the backing up portion of syncing my iPhone by pressing the X option, nothing happens. I've been trying to let iTunes back up my phone for over an hour and nothing's happening
How can I skip the backing up? I just want to add more music to my phone and it's been backing up for far too long
Nevermind, I solved the problem. FCPX isn't showing me that it's rendering or whatever it's doing, but after about ten minutes the files show up. Still, any idea why it gives no indication that it's working?

I have adobe editions 4.0 and I've been trying to get library books on my kobo for over 2 hours! The book goes onto my Kobo fine, but when I try to open in on my kobo it says, "Oops! The document couldn't be opened. It's protected by ADRM and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID." It does it with every single book. I've never had this problem before. My iphone 4S wont allow me to restore a bckup of icloud it has just rebooted the os and for over 24 hours i have been trying to fix it i use this phone for my job so i need help. when i try to restore it says "Your iphone could not be activated becuase the activation server is unavailable, If the problom presests goto apple.com/support" It has done this for 27 hours now PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
- Connect the iPod to the computer and see if iTunes sees it. If it sees it try to get the photos off the iPod.
- Next let the battery fully drain. It will likely take days. After charging for at least an hour try again
- Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -

Even without the serial number, you can use PSE for 30 days as trail and then activate the product later. -
iphoto has been importing photos for over n hour and I can't get it to stop. Can't get out of iphoto and can't shut down computer.
iPhoto works best when the source (Pictures folder) is on a different disk drive than the iPhoto Library is on.
And you need to have enough free disk space to work with, the faster the better.
Also, do not keep your media folders and those in your home folder on the same drive as the system, also another bottleneck.
Until or unless you have everything on 1400MB/sec SSD PCIe controller, you want
System boot drive
Media and data folders and such
scratch
backup
etc
I put iPhoto on an SSD off an SSD PCIe Sonnet Tempo card
If you stop- it, you will need to trash the Library it was creating.
Reading and writing to/from the same hard drive will be slow.
You don't mention which Mac, or how large you are trying to import etc

Take a look in Activity Monitor. See what the % being used for iPhoto, how many pageouts, how much free space on the various disk drives, and how much RAM do you have installed?

after i update the 10.10.2 OS X Yosemite my iPhoto stops working. In the warning that appears when I try to open the app says that happened a mistake because of this update. I reinstalled the app but doesn't work anyway. Please, HELP!
I already tried that but it doesn't work. Appears a warning saying: "See the developer to make sure that iPhoto works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install all available updates in the application and OS X."

Try resetting it while it is connected to power: Hold down the home and sleep button, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons. It is connected to a wall charger?

My iTunes library will not completely sync to neither my iPad nor my iPhone -- both are completely updated with the latest software. What do I have to do?? When I try to do the "autofill" option when connected to iTunes it says "no songs can be copied"...I literally bought some of these songs yesterday on my iPhone and now I can't sync them to my iPad. What is this issue? Usually I would just have to plug either device into iTunes and everything would sync, now nothing new syncs.
On your iPad tap Settings > Store
Switch Books off then back on then reset your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -

i have an old ipod touch that i have not used in a very long time, and im having trouble gettign it to turn on. ive had it on a charger for over an hour now and still nothing hs changed. i just updated my itunes to the current version they haev so i know its not an itunes problem its rather a problem with the old ipod touch itself. im leaving for deployment soon and im trying to get this fixed without having to send it in. If anyone has any ideas on how to get this thing turned on it would be greatly appreciated.
Well, two thoughts.
The battery has completely discharged and will take overnight to recharge, so don't expect much in an hour.
The battery has deep discharged and is now dead. It will never recharge and should be replaced.

I have been downloading Mountain Lion for MAC for over 4 hrs. and it seems to be stuck about 2/3 of the way through. I have a I mac that is only 2 yrs old has 8 GB memory and I updated all software, checked utilitie for any disc repairs andbacked up everything before I started this process. Can someone tell me what to do Right now the version is OSX 10.6.8.
Let it go... these DL's take forever, depending on the spped of your connection and the traffic on the servers.
If by morning it is still sitting there restart and the DL should pick up from where it left off. -
Trying to download photoshop as a trial and the creative cloud does not get past a blacnk screen and spinning flower. I have high bandwidth and I'm on a fibre optic connection so its not the download speed?

Please try to perform following steps in order to resolve the problem.
1. Launch Task Manager(Win)/Activity Monitor(Mac)
2. Try to quit Creative Cloud Desktop app and background process CCHelper and CoreSync.
3. Relaunch Creative Cloud Desktop app.
