HT1391 Where are my tv shows I purchased?!

I have an iPad 1 & purchased two tv episodes but can't find where they are on my iPad to watch them. Help!

For those days when it just disappears - restart the iPad or try a reset and see if the button comes back.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
I have to assume that you are in the U.S. where the feature is available if you have used or seen the button in the past in iTunes on your iPad.

No; TV shows and movies are currently only available in the US. Apple says it hopes to take movies international in 2007.

They should be in the Videos app :
If they don't show in there then are they hidden by a film age rating in Settings > General > Restrictions ?

If you are sure the originals are actually missing, you'd need to delete the listing in iTunes before you can re-download them.

Where are the TV shows hiding in iTunes Store? I cannot find any TV programs for purchase as before

I have long been purchasing TV shows from the iTunes store, especially when I am traveling to Europe for work. I did this as recently as two weeks ago. I am now unable to locate a "TV" category in the iTunes store or find any specific show or episode for preview or purchase. I am using a MacBookPro but am at a loss for what is up. Any help??

Which country's iTunes Store are you using? Check the flag icon at the very bottom of the main iTunes Store window. It's possible you've inadvertently changed to a country where TV shows are not available.

HT201272 I have always had and used the same Apple ID, so where are the rest of the songs I bought from itunes? I've bought at least 400 songs and I only am being able to download 178. Where are the rest of my purchases?!

I have always had and used the same Apple ID. I have changed credit card information on my Apple ID account several times though. Does that make a difference when downloading past purchases? I'm very angry at Apple and Itunes because I have been using itunes since 05/2005 and I do not have even close to the amount of songs and albums that I have purchased from itunes. If the credit card info does make a difference even though the account is the same one then itunes needs to make sure to notify users of this because I am not the only one who is wondering this same thing. I have numerous friends who i've talked to about this and they say the same thing, that they too have songs purchased in the past that have disappeared when trying to download past purchased items. It should not make a difference. $12 is $12. Especially since I have ALWAYS used the same account. If itunes does not change their ways, I will not be purchasing songs or anything else for that matter from them ever again. I will go back to buying CDs where I KNOW that it will always be with me and I don't have to deal with this. I will also make sure to find a better more reliable source to download music from and will make sure everyone I know and come in contact with knows what it is and how much better it is than itunes. There should be no experation date on the music I PURCHASE, nor should there be any other little loop holes that allow itunes to rob us of rightfully purchased products. What's the deal itunes??

There should be no issues. Its designed to work like that. You don't change Apple IDs just because you get a new device.

Unlikely. But nothing is impossible. Though I don;t see how that would happen. As long as both are signed into the Same Apple ID / iCloud Account they will be N'Sync. (Bad Joke)

If you buy an App, you have 2 ways to get it to the iPhone6: If Automatic Downloads is enabled in Settings->iTunes & App Store, it will automatically download to the iPhone 6 when you buy it on the 5 and vice versa if you buy it on the 6, it will download to the 5.
Alternatively, you can simply go to the App Store App->Updates->Purchased and look for the App there and download it. Purchased Apps will not require payment again. i.e They'll be free to download to the iPhone 6 once purchased.
SMS Messages will sync over using Continuity as long as they are on the same Wifi network. Otherwise, restoring the iPhone 5 backup to the iPhone 6 will transfer all messages received up until the backup was made onto the iPhone 6.

If you want the Continuity features as explained above you need to update the iPhone 5 to iOS 8. Otherwise its not all that important.

Movies and tv shows are not available in the Canadian itunes store. If you wish to view some of the movies and tv shows you can change your store to US, but you will not be ab le to purchase them.

I have tried much of the same - still no joy.
I also reported it as a bug to Apple although the response page said "we can't reply to messages"
For now I have had to turn off auto syncing and keep plugging and unplugging until the device is recognised correctly - about 1 in 10.
In my email to apple I also listed the contents of the xml file that keeps track of the devices that iTunes has seen:

You will see from the Use Count that these are adjacent connections, ie plugged in as ipad then as iphone. Apart from the device class, everything else is the same.

I just bought a new ipod and transfered all the data from my old ipod to my new one. I logged into the app store but under the purchase list there are none of my apps that i downloaded on my old ipod. Please help!

Yes and yes....it turned out that after I restarted my iPod and then logged out and logged back in to the App Store that my whole purchase list came back. Thanks for your time though.

Where are some samples showing the various output formats?

Are example PDFs with various output conversions from ExportPDF available on this site?
I have looked around for a while on this site and did not find any. It would be helpful to see several PDF files and their conversions to the different output formats. In particular it would be nice to see how converting to Excel and MSWord are handled for a few different PDF documents.

Sorry to say - I have the same issue re absence of Folders in Notes on iCloud.com. Keen for a solution because I find myself working in a place with no wifi and no 3G but have a shared windows computer on internet. I really could use Notes in iCloud, but the absence of folders makes this incomplete.

Hi I encoded some tv series I have on DVD, then I changed the video type to TV SHOW, and now I can't find them on my ipod!, I just can find them in itunes.

Put them back as Movies. The Tv file identifier does not work for vidoes except those purchased through ITunes.

Ringtones are avaliale in iTunes.
On the iPhone, launch iTunes App.
At the bottom of the screen, select More, then Tones
Alert Tones and or Ringtones are avaliable there.
There also various Ringtone Apps avaliable in the App Store.

Limited library choices- where are my tv shows?

We have set up our homesharing and for some reason my iTunes library choices are limited to Music, Movies or Podcasts. I have a few tv shows I would love to play but that entire category is missing.... I have tried playing around with my sharing preferences but nothing seems to help. My husband is running an older version of iTunes and he can see TV shows from his iTunes library. Is the up-to-date iTunes application the problem?

It just literally does not see the category tv shows in my iTunes library. As if it doesn't exist.
