i cnnctd my phone to the i tunes .
want to restore bt want to knw dat will all the images and messages will be deleted if i restore my phone
Your data is already gone if itunes is saying your phone needs to be restored.
If you have a backup, you can restore to that backup, if you don't have one, then there gone.

so. its okay. i had a back up with some pictures and some contacts and all that.
the install process just got an issue so it stoped half way through and i could only completely start over.

Hi last night I stupidly downloaded App Cleaner and deleted all my applications and their associated files. Because I panicked I wasn't able to use the "put back" so I just dragged everything back in to Applications. Now none of the applications will work as some of the associated files aren't in the correct location and some of the files aren't even applications. i did not back up my system with Time Machine (lesson learnt). Please please can someone help me, I know that Mac's don't have a roll back like PC's

They do. It's called Time Machine.
You need to reinstall all of your Apps. That should replace all of the support files you nuked. -
I cannot log out of iCloud without it threatening to delete all my photos and data.
I am logged onto iCloud and have the photos and Documents/Data options checked, but when I go to log out, it asks "Do you want to turn off iCloud photos (or iCloud Documents/Data) If you do you photos that have not been imported will be deleted from this Mac"!

JulianThe iCloud Photo Library have mistakes, you only need close Safari, or your browser and enter again, and look if already you are out from iCloud. Your photos in iCloud not be affect.

To my knowledge your CC infomation is not on the iPod but on an Apple server. To make a blank iPod I would g to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings
If you restore you iPod to factory defaults/new iPod via iTunes, your iPod willbe signed into the account that iTunes is signed into. -

Apple Senior tech lady deleted all my external drive data while sorting out other problem. How can I restore all my photos , music etc back to my Mac Pro?(I am so scared, I haven't connected iPhone to sync! Please help)
It was tele tech. I couldn't open my Page Numbers etc. Frist tech chat idiot - following dumping few things in bin, asked me yo upgrade to Yosemite. But the problem still persists. This morning I was asked to do it via telephone and like yesterday, after wasting 20 min, I was put to this apparent Tech Queen ( my foot!). She eventually decided to reinstall Yosemite asked me to connect my external drive while I connected to her. She was moving cursor asking me to move files and delete and I followed her like a dummy. It took 3/4 hours and she called me 3 times once the lengthy process was completed. I suspected from the beginng for the fact that why should be asking me to click all my backup from the very beginning! Eventually she said I deleted... Or someone else or may be my children ! It was a blatant lie. I run my small business from home and I was simply staying in front of the Mac whole day! Children were at school. Then she said I must have used another computer! I only have laptop and the iPad. I will talk to their manager first thing in the morning. In the mean time please let me know as to how can I transfer photos, music etc back to my laptop from my Iphone and IPad .? I am will connect to laptop as I am worried the new BLANK iPhoto may supersede iphone/iPad stuff? Will it? Please let me know. I am not a very tech savvy person. My son who could help me, is in Manchester Uni and Inam in London.

Any photos in your camera roll, not previously imported to your computer, you will lose. You should be regularly importing these photos, as the iPhone's camera roll is not designed as a storage device.
Had you been regularly syncing/backing up, you wouldn't lose anything. Now you know, don't backup your data, and you will eventually lose it all, guaranteed. -

If i restore my new iphone from my last backup will it delete all of the new content that I currently have on my phone? would it be better off to set it up as a new iphone? and if i set it up as a new iphone what will that do?
If you restore from your last backup, it will replace what you now have on your phone. If you set it up as new, you will have a phone just out of the box without any of your data on it. You can download any apps again. You can sync your music through iTunes.

Yes, you need to restore. Here is how:
Plug your iPod into a computer with iTunes
Go into your iPod's section on the bar on the left hand side of iTunes
Click restore
Confirm the restore with the dialog boxes that pop up.
When it is done, if you have a recent backup of your iPod in iTunes, you can tell it to use it. -
