Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
What do you mean by " Restore " hee ? Do you mean you wiped your device ?
By default all of our Contacts or Address book is stored in our device memory ! If you have a previous backup of your device or used BlackBerry Protect then you can restore it from there .
So can you confirm if have any such backups ? If you don't have it then I doubt you'll ever able to recover those.

After updating my ipad to my horror my notes have all been deleted
It's really important to me to get them back. My daughter died 8 weeks ago and there were things that we wrote together on there. Irreplaceable things.
Why didnt apple warn of this before releasing the update
Also hate what its done to my photos. Again no warning
i followed advice from these forums and plugged into laptop and itunes and restored.
I now have even less. Half my apps have now gone tooHi Clembo60,

I understand that your text messages are missing after an update on your iPhone. If you have a backup of your device on either iTunes or iCloud, you can restore from that backup and bring your information back. Please review the attached article, which covers how to back up and restore from backups, for more information.

How can I get my pictures back after restoring?
I had to restore and wanted to know if there was any way I could get them back. I have no idea if they were saved on iCloud or anything like that. And they are not on my computer I know for fact.
If you have a backup of your phone that included those pics, then restore from that backup http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
if you don't have a backup, then sorry your pics are gone. -
Can I get my apps back after restoring?
I just had to restore my iPod Touch and when I tried to put my latest backup on it, iTunes couldn't find any backups so I had to start it as a new iPod. Is there any way to get my paid apps back?
Unlike music, you can re-download for free:

if i didnt back up before upgrading the OS, can i get any data back after my last restore date?
thanks - thought as much my own fault then - should have backed up before upgrading, you just dont expect it to affect the files stored, rather just the OS itself (bit like a PC if the same happened)

Can you get your photos back after the iphone does a restore
Can you get your photos back after the iphone does a restore?
Actually, wrong.
The tech support people can help with Playbook purchased apps. If you've called and they said they cannot, you were lied to.
Even in the link you posted, in #10, it states clearly "App Refund related matters are handled by BlackBerry Customer Care." That, my friend is accessed by the support number. Again, if you were told otherwise, you should inform them of such or ask for a manage/supervisor.
And, you don't have a "Partner ID" because you are not a "Partner". The section you're referring to applies to mobile providers, which are the Partners.
Good luck.

Can I get my files back after emptying my trash
can I get my files back after emptying my trash
Try DataRescue3. You can download a demo that will scan your drive and tell you what it finds. If it finds deleted files that can be recovered, you can purchase the app and recover the files. I have used it, and it works great.
Note: when you empty the trash, the files are not actually erased, the pointers to the files are simply deleted from the disk directory/catalog. As long as the actual locations of the files are not overwritten by something new, the files are usually recoverable. So, the best thing to do is not save anything new until you have recovered what you just deleted.
Further note: if you did Secure Empty Trash or Erase Free Space after deleting files, then the deleted files are actually overwritten with 0's and they are not recoverable. -
Can I get my iPhotos back after a harddrive crash?
Can I get my iPhotos back after a hard drive crash?
Assuming you have been backing up then yes just restore from your backup. If you have not been backing up then you are about to learn a painful lesson on why backing up is critical. Recovering data from a crashed HD is expensive (thousands of dollars expensive) and slow. You will need to contact a Data Recovery service or purchase data recovery software such as Data Rescue 3.
If you can provide more information then perhaps we can give you more advice. -
How can you get a calendar back after deleting it
How can you get a calendar back after deleting it
You will have to restore the device from a backup on icloud. (this assumes you have backups turned on in settings>icloud)
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup. -

You can restore to a recent backup which contains the Note. If you have no backups the note is gone.

This is a strange case. I had a previous iPad 1 synced to my pc, 2 years ago. That iPad is long gone. I now have a different iPad 1 that was never synced to any pc, and actually had a couple of apps purchased from different users. The apps aren't the problem.
I synced this second iPad to my pc and it seemed happy as can be. I then updated the iOS. When it was done it had nothing other than factory apps and no data. So I restored it.....
But it restored the OLD iPad! It even renamed this iPad to the old name. It replaced my notes with the notes from that old iPad.
I've fixed all the app problems. But how can I get those notes back? I've looked at the backups, but note that it never had me back it up, it only synced.Good morning Gandrin
There is quite a difference between syncing and back-up and they are different features in iTunes, although some people combine them together.
1. The first thing that happens when you connect your device is that a photo manager asks if you want to offload your photos. I always do this because it is the most valuable way to back-up your photos only.
2. Then Itunes will come up and if you have automatic sync turned on it will begin to sync FROM your computer to your device. It's a one-way sync and is the primary way to keep photos, music and some apps managed on your device. New apps are synced onto your Itunes app tab. If you add or delete items in your iTunes folders then those changes are synced to your device. I always check to make sure my new apps are now in my iTunes library and specific device tab.
4. There is also a back-up step where you can back your device onto your computer. I think this is the step that should have been done when you got your new PC. It doesn't save the apps here but does save their setting and data. I prefer to set this up to be a manual back-up process.
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946.
5. There is also a a "Automatically sync new apps checkbox in your itunes device apps tabs. That should be checked "on".
6. If the missing apps were purchased through iTunes then I think you can download them again (make sure you use the same Apple Id). If you then resync with itunes those apps should appear in iTunes for you.
Maybe there is something in my rambling that will help -
I had quite a few notes in the 'Notes' app. I suddenly find that all of them, except 3 have disappeared. What could be the reason and how can I get my notes back?
Not fully au fait with iCloud. I don't use it. But if you have done a backup to iCloud then this might help. This reply will refresh your post thereby giving others an opportunity to comment. Meanwhile, read up about iCloud in the User Guide. Here's the link to download it - http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad
