Yes, I'm sure. I bought it from Apple Store two months ago. I solved the problem restoring the iPhone from scratch after downloading the iOS. I haven't restored my backup so I'm not sure if backing up it could work.

    Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.     Did you use any of the "sleep" drivers supplied? I have found it best to just totally reformat/erase the drives and let the OS handle them.

    I'm searching for an answer to almost the same exact problem, using almost the same exact hardware and software. Has an answer been found?
    The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help.

    I bought my iphone 3gs in the states. And I jailbreak it because I'm not an AT&T customer. One day the phone just put itself into the DFU mode! I didn't do anything. So it's black screen. I tried to restore my iphone but I can't. During the restore process, my phone will be white screen for a while and then turn back to black screen again. And then itunes will show the message that my iphone can't be restored. Then I get the error code, sometimes it's 1618, sometimes it's 28 and it even shows 20000 for a few times. But mostly 28, I couldn't find 1618 and 20000 in apple online manual. I check the manual and it seems like 28 represent there's an hardware issue...

    Unlikely, The warrantee for US iPhones is valid in only the US, and not for jailbroken ones anywhere.
    If it's just a software problem, any fix would probable involve a restore which would install 4.1, so it would relock to AT&T.
    If you know someone in the US, they could try an Apple store there. If it's a hardware problem, they might replace it, but the replacement would be locked to AT&T.

    Hi folks as in the title:
    My Ipad 4 froze up and rebooted automatically numerous times.
    It then immediately froze up completely and didn't try and reboot itself.
    I then hard restarted the device using the home and power buttons simultaneously.
    I got the Apple logo and saw my desktop for a moment and then it froze up.
    Hard rebooted again only this time I saw "connect to iTunes".
    I connected the device to my MBP and iTunes where I was told it was in restore mode.
    I followed the on-screen instructions in iTunes to restore the device.
    I spent 15minutes downloading the necessary files etc only for the restore to fail through error code '1600'.
    I explored this error code in Apple support and followed all Apple's suggestions, and subsequently tried the restore each time.
    I have now exhausted all fix options for '1600'...and I can't even get 'connect to iTunes message' on my iPad device now.
    Any suggestions would be welcome please?

    Unfortunately I don't have another computer with which to try a restore from.
    I've tried to reboot the iPad again using the sleep and home buttons (whilst it is unplugged from my MBP) and it remains completely lifeless. I know there is 80% battery life in the device as I had it charging when it malfunctioned.
    I've tried recovery mode through iTunes in excess of 15 times now all yielding the same and inevitable result of 'error 1600'.
    I think it's time to get to know the team at my local Apple store...

    What I mean is still track my stolen one. I don't know if this will make sense to you but I'm thinking that if I restore the back up data on this phone..on my stolen phone it will like forget the icloud account or something and think this phone is the stolen one so when I go to track the stolen one, it will show that phone as the one I have now because I restored the back up from that phone.

    I understand the question fully. Your issue is that the activation does not seem to be registering nor working properly (which is why you keep being asked to activate it). Maybe activating through Wi-Fi will activate the iPad properly since as you say yourself, "I can't activate the Ipad by cellular data." I don't think it would much more trouble to try it through Wi-Fi and could very well solve your issue.
    A question does not come up though...which activation are you actually talking about? The initial activation of the iPad for use (when you are first setting up the device) or the activation for cellular data with the device's cellular data carrier for use on the device? My initial response was for the first scenario.

    I have a simple solution.
    The person who has the iPhone sending you the text messages your are not getting, has to press and hold the blue message box until the menu pops up and one option is to "Send as Text Message" tap that - have them send another new message to you, if it is blue, not green, repeat. I beleieve if you do that twice, the iPone will always send you a text message, not an iMessage.

    Apple's activation servers are probably very busy. You may want to wait for a little while before trying again.

    Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat, AIR, Flash Player, Linguistics, LongTransport2 -- there's also another folder named AdobeUM

    Can you confirm you have verified your password via webmail?
    What error message do you get when entering the password in the Thunderbird password prompt?
    I'd be surprised if you can still receive mail without being prompted, when Thunderbird didn't save your password(s).

    I have had a problem installing CC.  After reading ALL the online comments and suggestions, I called Adobe customer support on Wednesday.  I was told that the problem had to be escalated and that someone would call me back in 24 hours.  When no one did, I called on Thursday and was told that someone would call me on Friday morning.  When no one did, I called again on Friday afternoon and was assured that someone would call me before the end of Friday.  I cancelled a dinner to stay home.  It's Saturday afternoon, and still no one from customer service has called.  I really hate being lied to.  I concur with many that Adobe may have the worst customer service of any U.S. firm.  So my question, should I just cancel my subscription that I've had for a week and not be able to use or still hang in there.  Is Corel still in business??

Lastly, I submitted a problem to the iTunes store. I have received no responses to any of those queries until this one.
