Hi , can anyone tell me ,what to do as my iPhone 4S , suddenly, seem like hanged, I could not open or close my iPhone 4 S.
The phone touch screen can not activate lock in or lock out. So I could not use this phone at all.
Hope Apple Service can help me. What to do or visit their Apple agent in Singapore.

RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).

How can I back up an iphone when I haven't set the phone up for back ups & the touch screen doesn't work? Try backing it up to your computer with iTunes. Connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of the phone in iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer you apps and other purchased media to your iTunes library.

IOS7 installed OK to my iPhone 4S and worked OK for a while but I have somehow managed to completely jam my iPhone 4s. The touch screen won't work except for up and down gestures (some of the time). I can't make or answer calls, I can't even power if off. I can't access the hardward ID which Apple support seems to require for Chat.
It might have happened when I was accessing my camera bypassing the lock screen!
All I know is that the thing is now useless and it looks like I will have to wait for the battery to run down to see if powering it back up afterwards will solve the problem.I have since discovered the "hold down home key and power button" together for a few seconds and this seems to have worked .... phew!

if apps are opening on their own you have a problem with your phone, most likely the digitizer is sensing its being touched.

HELP: iPhone 6 Keyboard/Touch Screen Not Working

I recently acquired to an iPhone 6, which has been working properly for the last two weeks. Today, my keyboard/touch screen stopped working properly. When I am typing in iMessage, or trying to compose an email, enter a URL, or anything else that requires my touch keyboard, my "123" button that switches to numbers, punctuation, and special characters does not open. I updated my software to iOS 8.3., which switched to a new and "improved" emoji keyboard, but I did this after my keyboard had already become unresponsive. If I click on the emjoi keyboard icon to switch over, the "ABC" button to swtich back to QWERTY is unresponsive. This is REALLY frustrating! The phone is two weeks old, and I cannot use to for a huge chunk of functionality.
It's not a dead spot on the touch screen. When I am not trying to access the keyboard, that little bottom left corner works fine to open/use my Phone app.
I really don't want to reset my phone. Any other ideas?

Please help!To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the Touch Screen . If it still does not work, this is a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

sir i entered my icloud id when i want to activate my iphone..
i am **** sure that id i am entering in iphone is correct..
still iphone says this id could not activate this iphone...
i disable find my iphone and deleted icloud from iphone before restoring it.
so according to terms and conditions iphone can not ask me for apple id to activate ..

this problem is making me mad.. i cant do my work without iphone.. contact asap...Sometimes it happens when phone is not connected to Internet. If it is not - try connect to itunes on the computer and activate again. If it is - good luck and advice to reset password.

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. -
