Hi,my ipad air has locked me out! wrong passcode, my son then put it into lost mode, now it says ipad is disabled, connect to itunes.....is there anyway I get it going again without restoring it? Thank you!
You need to restore/recover your iPad.
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

i forgot my pass code to get into my ipad mini how do i get in to change it and or take it off
it wont let me get i to my homescreen to go to settings it takes me to the front page and then when I swipe it to go to the homescreen it takes me to my pass code and then if i try it locks itUnfortunately, you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Plug it into iTunes on your computer and hit restore.
If that does not work for any reason, try recovery mode. Unplug the iPad from the computer; hold down the home button; and plug it into iTunes with the home button still held.
If you get an air while trying to restore, plug it into the computer; make sure the device is off; press and hold the sleep button for about five seconds; while still holding the sleep button, press and hold the home button at the same time for about 15 seconds; now release the sleep button, but continue holding the home button for additional approximately 10 seconds.
Your devices showld now be in DFU mode and you can restore it with iTunes. -
After the recent upgrade to ios 8 ipad air has no audio coming out
HI
After the recent upgrade to ios 8 ipad air has no audio coming outI had the same problem until tonight. Played with ring tones, do not disturb, volume, and everything else posted. What I found is that when you go to sounds/text tone, there are two types of tones in the scrolling menu. The top set of tones are for alert tones and the bottom set are ringtones. They are separated by a gray bar that states their purpose. Many of the tones are the same name. You need to set your text alert in the Ringtones and reminders, alarms, and such in alerts. The weird thing about this menu is when you go to sounds/ringtone the menu is reversed. Mine works in locked mode or unlocked now. I have an Iphone 6 8.1.2. My problem started after my latest OS upgrade. Hope this helps.

Hi my mini ipad has locked me out and says connect to Itunes but it wont connect to it
Hi my mini ipad has locked me out and says connect to Itunes but it wont connect to it
Try:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:
5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information. -
My iPad air has 32 gb, but I am down to about 3 gb. What should (and how) I get rid of to free up space?
Are there apps you don't need or use? Delete them.
Is there content you've downloaded from iTunes that you can delete (as long as it's available in iTUnes, you can redownload any previously purchased content)
Do you have any large e-mails in your mailbox? Such as mails with photos.
Do you have photos that you don't want or need anymore?
Settings, general, usage can tell you how much space apps are taking up and that can help you choose what needs to go, what's part of the problem, etc. -
I have a problem, my wife has an ipad with photos , emails etc etc, she has recently got herself a new iPad Air, has now been using that for two or more months, more photos (new) more emails and other stuff. What she wants to do is get all she wants from ipad 1 to new ipad without finishing up with 2 of everything which happen on previous occasion. I realise that she needs to tidy up ipad 1 first and get rid of thousands of emails etc. I need help.
Thanks kiwihdriderHi yes that works well when the new ipad hasn't been used. Trouble new one has been used for two months or more, has lots photos email etc etc. I am worried that these will go. When we did iPhone thru same process finished up with two of most things pics and emails. The emails alone were over 2 thousand and wife reluctant to delete them all. I would and just sort pics. Any other ideas

My iPad Air has the latest software version(iOS 7.1.2) update, since that update the location services have stopped working. have a solution?
I have had the same problem, so many apps do not work properly without it! Apple says the internet satellite, the Internet satellite says Apple, back and forth with the blame instead of fixing the problem. Have turned location on and off, reset everything multiple times ( lots of hours and bandwidth to download ), Siri is now working part time, I guess she has cut back her hours for the summer. Even in these forums was suggested to check with Skyhook who does the global positioning, and after hours with them, they ended up saying that they have nothing to do with it anymore, Apple does. All to no avail and much frustration! I wonder if this is happening with the iPhone's? i'd like to know if this is happening with others that do not use satellite as their ISP? That would help narrow down the argument with Apple vs. satellite. Fell for you! Someone please help us! Ta

MY IPAD AIR has cracks on it that are developing fast across the screen. are these fixable ?
I'm sure it is but it'll cost you if it's out of warranty or if the warranty does not cover the damage. Take it to a nearby Apple store.

MY ipad air has no facetime why.
That is the model intended for the Middle East market. You will
never be able to install FaceTime on that iPad.
If FaceTime is important to you, sell that iPad and buy one where FaceTime is not
restricted.
Or use Skype or similar program. -
My iPad Air has its screen unlit since yesterday though messages/emails notifications are heard. The wake-up button seems not to have any effect. What should I do?
Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

After installing iOS 5, my ipad 2 will not accept my access code and has locked me out
after installing iOS 5, my ipad 2 will not accept my access code and has locked me out. Any ideas?
I don't know if your symptoms are the same as mine, but my problem is the same. Specifically:
My update seemed to go fine, but I noticed that items in Notification Center were not current or missing, as compared to the iPhone. Also, when iTunes saw the iPad without it being connected by cable, the portion of the iTunes screen that displayed the OS status was blank, and it told me that I had to connect physically to update. When I did, iTunes confirmed that iOS 5 was indeed installed and current.
With this, I decided to shut down the iPad completely, and restart it. When it came back up, the lock screen had changed. I now get a full keyboard (not just a number pad). When I attempt to enter my 4-digit passcode (and I know I'm entering the correctone), the iPad won't take it. Now it's completely locked and I can't access it.
The odd thing is the way the screen changed to display a full keyboard on the lock screen. This didn't happen to the iPhone.
All devices are running the current versions of everything.

PIR is replenished when the Production order GR is cancelled.
In a Make to Stock scenario(Gross requirements planning - Strategy 11) with Forward/Backward consumption mode , the system adds the PIR qty when the GR from Production order is reversed for some reason , is there way to prevent this from happening.
