HT1414 ?How do I retrieve a back up from itunes from two nights ago? (I do not want to use my most recent back up).
Two night ago I attempted to update my iphone 5 software to iOS 6.1.4. It backed up fine as far as I'm aware and then I got an error message during the software upgrade. This caused everything to stop and and my iphone was wiped. I was able to reconnect and start again, meanwhile my iphone had gone into recovery mode. That night, I downloaded and updated the iphone to all the current software. HOWEVER, when I attempted to restore my iphone it would not restore it from what had already been backed up earlier that evening. It was essentially still wiped.
I have tried again last night to see if I can restore from an older back up but there does not seem to be one available?
Can someone please help me? I have lost all my contacts, sms, emails, camera roll photos and notes! All my apps have changed, ring tones, calendar, etc.
Ultimately I would like to restore to what I had early Sunday night before the attempted software update, but if not, I would like to restore from an update I did a month ago? I just do not have those options available to me. (It only allows me to chose updates I've done on others devices or after the software crash).

You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer. -

iCloud does not provide general file storage or backup, so you cannot back up your Documents folder using it. You will need to find a third-party alternative - this page examines some options (some are free):

Some albums I put on my Mac to later sync with a Touch appears as seperate tracks and not a single album. How do I get them back together again other than a playlist. I do not want the tracks showing up as albums on the Touch?
Are your tracks pat of a collection? Different artists, but still one album? Then mark them a s acollection or set the album artist. See this guide on how to group separate tracks into albums:

You're almost there. When you look in that Profiles folder, you should see one or more folders with semi-randomized names. The most recent one probably is your last active profile.
You have a lot of options for how to recover:
* Restore last bookmarks backup ([[Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer]])
* Manually copy over saved password files to your currently active profile folder ([[Recovering important data from an old profile]])

Yest it will restore photos deleted from yur iOd probvide that the photos were taken before the the last synce/backyp was made. Make syre yu have automatic syncing turned off (Itunes>Preference>Devices>Check the box that says prevent auto syncing when connected). Otherwise when connected, a backup that reflects the deleted photos will be made and will replace the previous backup.
