HT1414 How do I totally erase an apple ID? I have somehow got it all wrong. I want to use the same email again.

OK, it seems like we are missing each other. Here's the situation. I have my Apple ID which is...[email protected](for example purposes). I have 3 emails already attached to it...[email protected](The primary), [email protected](an alternate) and [email protected](another alternate). All 3 emails are currently attached and working with my Apple ID of [email protected] Been like this for a year or 2 now, maybe even longer. I do intend to continue using my own ID ([email protected]) as my own.
I deleted the [email protected] because I am trying to set up an Apple ID for my daughter using [email protected] as her Apple ID. It is her email and she's been using it for a couple years. No reason to have her share my apple ID while using her email.
The result is that every time I try and create a new ID using [email protected] as the Apple ID, I get the message that [email protected] is already associated with another Apple ID, even though I have deleted it from my ID of [email protected]

Do you perhaps have more than one Apple ID? If your response is "No," are you absolutely positive?

Could the credit card be expired?
Beyond that, what you need to do is contact iTunes support, they can tell you exactly what is wrong, none of us here can do that.
In the lower right corner of this page is a 'contact us' link. Click on that and you'll see a page full of info and links, one of which is iTunes support.

HT1918 How does one organise the apple ID so that one uses the same email address to have an account on both the UL and Belgian itunes stores?

I have in the past created an Apple ID for use with the UK itunes store, because I want to read in English. If I sign in it seems that this ID will only allow me to purchase from the UK store. But I live in Belgium, so I can't download from the UK store. So I tried to create an apple ID for the Belgian itunes store. But I want to use the same email address as I used for the first apple ID I made (because I'm fed up of having to remember which email address I used for which account). When I tried this, I just get a message saying that the email address is already in use for another account (which I know, because it's me who made that account). Does anyone have a workaround for this?

I'm presuming you went ahead and set up a new Apple ID, yes? Using the same password in more than one Apple ID has worked for me in the past, but I haven't tried it in a while so the tightened security may have changed that. You could use the same password but add "-UK" and "-BE", or something like that, to make it easier to remember.
I understand what you mean about losing the ability to deal with UK purchased stuff, but this is becoming so inconvenient that I do want to delete that UK apple ID account. I have looked everywhere I can think of on the apple website (apple id, itunes, support etc) and I can't find a link/eplanation/contact point that deals with deleting apple ID and itune store accounts. Surely this must be possible?
It's possible, but Apple is very reluctant to do it, and it's not something a user can do on their own. It would be better to just stop using the UK account rather than trying to get it deleted. Just remove your payment information and there should be little reason to have the account deleted. If you really want to try, though, you'll need to send a message to iTunes support specifying that you want the account cancelled.
On a completely different matter, I have bought my son an ipod touch. But since he is younger than 13 years old, how does one go about using the itunes store to get music onto his ipod touch?

The only way to get an apple ID is to have an email account you've never used before. The only thing you can do is make her an email.

Deleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account.

It sounds like you have a credit card saved to your Apple ID payment information and you would like it to be removed from the account and set the payment method to None. You should be able to do this with the following article:
