HT1414 I have the iphone 4s, I'm unable to access my calender while talking on the phone??
For some reason I'm unable to access my calender while talking on the phone, if I want to check dates and times to input appt. I beieve it might have happened after the latest software update, has anyone else had this problem???
Please change your profile then, it says iPhone 4S, IOS 6.1.4.
Is your Calendar in iCloud? Which provider are you using?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
iOS has got Messages app, which uses iMessage to send and receive messages. iMessage can only be used in iPhones, iPads, iPods touch and Macs, not on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
You need an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac to remove your iPhone's phone number from Messages. After getting one, open Settings > Messages > Send and Receive, and remove your phone number. After doing this, when one of your contacts choose your phone number in Messages app, it will send a SMS instead of an iMessage -

I was wondering why the iPhone 5 has the option for a battery percentage and the iPod touch 5g doesn't? I mean... they are almost both the same thing... just the iPod does not have the phone.
One likely reason is the % battery is not that accurate because of the smaller battery capacity in the iPod compared to iPhone and iPad. Users why use a % battery app post that the % reading changes a lot.

Unlinking an iphone 5 from icloud when I no longer have the phone
I need to unlink an iphone 5 device from my itunes / icloud account - it is a phone I purchased second hand from ebay, which i set up and registered itunes / icloud from the start up menu, but I had to send the phone back as it was faulty, however the owner is saying they need it unlinked from my itunes / icloud account as they cannot use it until this is done. How do I remove the device from my itunes account when I no longer have the phone in my possesion ?

You mean for an iPhone 4S? You can't. Yo can only update an iPhone 4S to iOS 8.1.3.
The only iPhone that can currently download iOS 6 is an iPhone 3GS.

Disassociate Company iPhone from iCloud when I don't have the phone anymore.
Left company need to turn off the iCloud and delete backups so . I no longer have the phone and Have a NEW iPhone different Apple ID now.
You just need to remove your account? Your question isn't to clear. But if you mean you just need to removed your information and such from that account you need to have your password and ID. So heres what you have to do... This is if you have iOS 7, I believe it is pretty similar with iOS 6.
1. Go into settings..
2. Go to iCloud
3. Scroll all the way down and you'll see Find my iPhone, you're going to want to turn that off.
4. After you turn that off you can delete your account
Both times iOS 7 asks you for your password each time for the account. So make sure you have that! And on a side note, make sure that you turn off the "Find my iPhone" feature. It is very important that you do that if you are planning to sell it or your work needs the phone back. The reason is if the feature isn't turned off and you don't remember the password for your iCloud account, it is nearly impossible to reactivate the phone because your iCloud account is permanently linked to it. This makes it like I said, just about impossible for someone else to use the phone. It is one of Apples best security features and honestly it works fantastically.
Next if you want to completely erase the iPhone all together so that you have no information on it you do the following
1. Settings again.
2. Go to General
3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and select reset.
4. You're going to want to select "Erase All Content and Settings"
5. iOS 7 should inform you that doing this will erase all content on your iPhone. You're going to want to select yes, then I believe it will ask you once again for your iTunes account password. Put it in and it will start to reset and erase your iPhone.
After that you should be in the clear, just make sure you post any other questions. I'm not the best Apple enthusiast here but I do know most of my stuff very well. Other people may know some things I might not. Hope I helped! Good Luck! -

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I still get the notification that my phone needs to be plugged in and connected to wifi in order to back up to the cloud :-(

Dropped my phone in water. Sound and vibrations are working but screen won't turn on. I can see a little water in the camera. I currently have the phone in a bag of rice. HELP! :)
Leave it in the rice for 6 or 7 days changing rice even couple of days.
If after that it still doesn't work take it to Apple and purchase an out of warranty rteplacement for it. -

If the Slide to Power Off option is coming up, that suggests your power button isn't working correctly and is sticking.
Best thing to do is bring the phone to an Apple store (make an appointment first) and have a Genius take a look at it.
