    Try:

  • If you restore iPhone without backing up will you delete recently downloaded music?

I'm having problems with my ipad and iPhone, and because of this I've been advised not to sync to tines until I can take them to the apple store. However, I've purchased several songs through the iTunes Store since my last back up, and if the devices get restored at the apple store, will these songs be lost because they're not on my laptops iTunes library? Will I have to repurchase them? Thanks!

Whether you will need to repurchase them depends upon what country that you are in (music can't be redownloaded in all countries) and if they remain in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their items from the store). Also none of your downloads from the store are included in a backup, when restoring to an iTunes backup it picks up your songs, apps etc from your iTunes library, it's things such as the contents of your apps (documents, files etc), emails, contacts etc that are in the actual backup.
If you go to the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes :
Does music show there ? If it does then download it on your computer so that you have a copy of it.

  • JSP error page does not displayed on its own, includes in the original JSP

Problem Description: - Exceptions in a Condition cause pages to fail to render.
The actual issue is, the JSP error page does not displayed on its own, included in the original JSP Page when exception occurs.
Problem Cause: As per the JSP specification when jsp content reached the buffer size (default 8KB) the page being flushed (Part of condent displays). The default autoFlush value is true.
When the page buffer value is default size (8KB), and if any exception occurs after flushing the part of the content, instead of redirecting into error page, the error page content included in the original page.
If i specify autoFlush="false" and with default buffer size, at the runtime if the buffer size is reached, i am getting stackoverflow error.
To solve the above problem we can make it autoFlush=false and buffer=100KB. But we cant predict the actual size of the page.
I found in one of the weblogic forum as no solution for this issue. Ref.
    http://support.bea.com/application?namespace=askbea&origin=ask_bea_answer.jsp&event=link.view_answer_page_clfydoc&answerpage=solution&page=wls/S-10309.htm
Please provide me any solution to resolve the problem.

Error-Page tags work best with an error.html pages. If you have an error.jsp page what I would do, and I have, is wrap my classes and jsp pages in a try catch block where you forward to the error jsp page and display anything you want. YOu can also do this with if else statements. I have used the tomcat error pages before but when I've implemented them I used java.lang.Exception as the error to catch not Throwable. I don't know if this would make a difference or have anything to do with your problem.

  • I can not get the phone to turn back on. My email had been blinking off so I tried turning it off. After holding down top button and bottom button it the apple sign came up then went out as it has before when I have approached it this way. But now no go.

My phone is dead it will not turn back on after taking a step I have used in the past when I have had issues with the phone. In the past I haeld the top button and the button on the face down and it will turn black then the apple sign comes up then off. I can then turn it back on and it seems to be reset and all is good not so today. It will not turn back on.

    1. Plug phone into AC adaptor and charge for at least 30 minutes
    2. If not on, reset phone: press both home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears.
If no reponse to above, there is hardware damage and you need to take it to Apple or whoever provides iPhone service in your country.

  • My daughter forgot her passcode on her new ipod touch.  How do I access it?  The message says ipod disabled.  I've tried resetting by holding on/off and home but hasn't worked

My daughter forgot her passcode on her brand new ipod touch.  How do I access it now?  The message reads, "ipod disabled".  I've tried holding the on/off button and home button until I see an apple.  Then asks me to connect to itunes.  When trying to connect to itunes, it will not let me as it asks for the ipod touch's passcode (which we do not have!)  What next?

Did you use the instructions I provided in the document above?  It can be a bit tricky getting the device into recovery mode.  Try a few more times.

sounds like a hardware issue with the battery
    1. you can try different chargers if you have any
    2. while plugged in, Hold the Home+Power at the same time for about 20 secs, if the apple comes up then release both buttons
3.if that doesn't work you may have to go into Apple store

  • My iphone 4 died even though it had plenty of battery, and shows no sign of life until i put it on to charge where it shows the apple sign every now and then but just turns off again after a few seconds.....HELP!!!!

Could be a defective battery, you should get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store next to your place.

  • My iphone won't turn on at all and when i connect it to a charger the apple sign just flashes on and off but does not turn on?

I've tried charging it overnight and it still will not turn on, when connected to the charger the apple sign just goes on and off but does not do anything, i've tried resetting it and this also does not work, but then once taken off the charger it doesn't even say the sign for charging it just does nothing

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

  • I was using my ipad it was under 10% but no under 4% it turned off then i pluged the charger in and flashed on then showed apple sign after i turned it on. now its going back and forth from the apple sign and battery symbol ive changed chargers its not on

    hey please help!
i was using my ipad it was under 10% but no under 4% it turned off then i pluged the charger in and flashed on then showed apple sign after i turned it on. now its going back and forth from the apple sign and battery symbol ive changed chargers its made no differnce its been like 3 hours ive tried to do that reset thing holding lock button and home button for 10 seconds at the same time. WHAT DO I DO?

Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • HT201263 my phone froze so i turned it off and back on and its stuck on the apple sign, its been like it since 9 last night

my iphone froze so i turned it off and back on again and it has been stuck on the apple sign since 9pm lastnight how do i get it to work again?

What version of OS X are you running? If your MBP came with an installation disc, try booting from it and using Disk Utility to verify and, if needed, repair your hard drive. If you're running Lion or Mountain Lion and your computer didn't come with an installation disk, try holding down the Command and R keys whilst booting and try Disk Utility.
