Not really sure what You mean by - changing the extension of my images (JPEG, GIF, BMP) -
• Did You just change the ending or did You make format conversions ?
I got lot's of strange colors Blue, Green and Red
Red - When using .bmp photos in my iMovie/iDVD projects.
I use GraphicConverter to convert all photos to .jpg (has to be a full re-calculation not just changing of file type ending)
Blue - when using DVD-RW disks (most probably a material/brand faulth)
Green - when conector to monitor got broken.

Try resetting:

HT1414 iPad screen black glow only. Attempted restore but did not resolve the issue. Holding down button will sometimes flicker the screen but it will return to a black glow.

Any suggestion on fixing this issue?

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

You can try to reset your iPad:
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button (also known as power button) simultaneously.
Continue holding both buttons until the iPad shuts down and begins to restart, this might take up to 20 seconds.
You may stop holding the buttons when you see the Apple logo.
You completed the reset successful, you can now try if your iPad works again.

My iPad screen has a red tint

My iPad screen has a red tint, anything I can do to fix this?

I'm not the greatest when it comes to taking care of my iPad, that being said. I've dropped it a few times. I've had this issue, it can be easily fixed by holding down the home button and power button for at least 30sec. If this doesn't work then repeat. This has worked for me in the past and my iPad works just fine. By doing this your resetting the LCD. Hope this helps!

HT1414 iPad blank screen

My ipad with Retina Display shows a blank white screen upon startup. I've rebooted several times as well as put the device through "recovery mode" via iTunes. Still, the same blank white screen white makes the device inoperable.
The unit seems to be receiving email, Siri appears to work, etc. just fine.
I've been uisng this iPad with a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard that seemed to become erractic over the past few days with the ipad screen randomly cutting out, then turning on again permitting normal use of the device.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Coloured lines through the Ipad screen

Have Ipad 2 now have coloured lines through the screen, no crack screen,.

Possibly a hardware problem, however, have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

I assume the iPad was dropped. It will need to be repaired or replaced.

My iPad has red bleeding through the screen. The background is solid red behind everything on the page. What causes this?
Is there a fix for this?

On a different thread, someone suggested dropping the iPad on its back onto a carpeted floor. I did this from about two feet high with no effect. Then tried from about 3.5 feet high, and VOILA the red disappeared! Many others reported same miraculous fix. Hope it works for you!

This is going to sound dumb, but this always fixes it for me:
Lay the ipad flat on your lap, open your hand, and with fingers spread, gently but firmly smack the screen of the iPad. I sometimes have to do it 3-5 times (mostly because I'm afraid to hit it too hard!), but it consistently resolves the problem for me.
