That's exactly what I followed , step by step, and still the wifi grayed out remains . I should mention that it was working right up to yesterday late evening , then it just went along with the bluetooth

The "1015" error generally indicates that the handset has been subjected to jailbreaking, and there's nothing you can do.

This article, referenced in the HT1414 article you attached above, has a section called "How to restore from a backup" under both the iCloud backup and the iTunes backup section.
So, hopefully you have backed up everything on your iPhone, and can then recover the backups as explained:

HT1414 iPhone 4S and Sony MEX-BT3100U will not pair, I have updated iPhone software to iOS 7.0.4 to no avail.

So I bought this Sony headunit at the weekend, it pairs with my iPhone 5 via bluetooth without problem. My iPhone 4S will not find it despite following all the steps from Sony and Apple.
Sony state that it is compatible and that I need to take up the issue with Apple.

If you haven't already done so, you may want to restart or reset the iPhone:

My iPhone 5 was not being recognized by two different computers, windows 7 and windows 8.1. My wife's iphone 5 had no issues. I followed all the advice on-line from re-installing iTunes, resetting my phone ( as new and backed up from cloud), device manager troubleshooting, re-install drivers, different cables, different ports. Oddly enough in the fianl analysis my iPhone only gets recognized when the cable is insert in one way into the phone. Flip the cable and it goes straight to "unknown device". Doesn't matter which cable I use, it only works on one side. My wife's works both ways. I can't explain it, but there it is. I put a dot with a permanent marker on the cable to identify which side goes up.

HT1414 Iphone 3G restarts right in the middle of restore so I keep getting unknown error message.

Hey everyone, I have an old school Iphone 3G, it restarts itself right in the middle of a restoration so I keep getting unknown error message. I don't know why but no matter what usb port I plug it into, the white bar underneat the Apple logo on the iphone will get right close to the end but then like I stated earlier the phone restarts randomly, so it won't let me restore the product because it keeps getting reset by itself.

I even tried this on a iMac with similar results. The only difference was that the errorcode was called 2001 instead of 21.
Today I took the phone to www.iphoneambulancen.dk. A guy (in Aarhus, Denmark) that specializes in iPhone repairs. I figured, that given his occupation he'd seen most errorcdes. Two hours later, he called me back, and told me that he had replaced the battery.
So, it turns out that a broken battery can cause this behaviour.

HT1414 iPhone 4s will not charge

What do I do if I accidentally dropped my iPhone 4s (does not have the latest iOS software) in slush (snow and salt mixed together) and the battery won't charge? But, when I power it off it charges by itself and when I turn it on the battery drains from 100 to 90 percent in less then five minutes. Any suggestions on what to do? Also, there's nothing wrong with my charger because it works for my ipod but not my iphone.

You should check your original post. I responded to that one and you have asked the same question again. Stay with a single post and do not duplicate posts. It makes it difficult for users that are responding to you for you to try and do what they ask.
First try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should restart. This could take up to 20 seconds if the phone has been unresponsive.
