HT1414 my ipad 3 is frozen on the itunes logo

My Ipad 3g Cellular is frozen on the apple logo, i have tried restoring but it has not helped
Can anyone help me

1. Try a reset, hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.
2. If the reset doesn't work, try and force the iPad into Recovery Mode
A. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
B. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
C. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
D. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

  • HT4061 my iphone 4 is frozen with the itunes logo and a plug in sign on it. i tried to restore it...waited over 1.1/2 hours since the first time it reset and restarted with only 30 min to go. it said it was done but still is frozen! help, i cant get the s

i had a third update showing on my iphone 4, i had already updated to the 07 and downloaded the second update to help fix bugs etc. the second update only took a few minutes unlike the first original update that took 4 1/2 hrs! when i saw the third updade i plugged in the phone, connected to wifi and hit update. it showed the apple sign and the bar underneath showing the progress. i left the phone to do its thing and when i went to get it about 1/2 later the phone had a itunes logo and and a picture of a charger showing. it would not do anything. it was frozen. i looked up online how to fix it. it told me to connect to itunes and then to restore. it would make sure that i could keep my contacts and pictures. the restore took 3 hrs, as it started at 78 min which actually took way longer, then when there was only 30 min left it stopped and went back to the "do you want to restore" question and i had to start all over. when it was finally done, i still have the itunes logo and its still frozen..please help!

  • My Ipad mini had frozen with an Itunes logo and image of USB lead.

If I turn it off it goes back to that screen

You probably have to restore the device with iTunes so connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes.
You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.
    Instructions can be found here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
You will probably need to restore using Recovery Mode. You can read about it here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4097
    Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
    Use iTunes to restore iPad.

  • HT1414 my ipad air is frozen with the i tunes logo and a black screen it does not turn on or off with the red bar

my i pad air is frozen because it has a black screen with just the I tunes icon but you can't turn it on or off or do anything please can you help

I'm sorry. I missed your response earlier today.
You will need to use recovery mode. You can start iTunes on your computer first. Then you plug the cable into the computer, hold down the home button on the iPad and plug the cable into the iPad.
    Use recovery mode
Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.
Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.
Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.
Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.
When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.
iTunes should open and display a message such as: "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
Use iTunes to restore your device.

  • HT4623 My husband just did the update for his iPhone 4, his phone is frozen with the iTunes page and a usb cable across the homescreen. He's tried holding down all the buttons all at the same time. can't shut it off. popped out the sim card, won't charge

We just did the iPhone update ios 6. The screen is frozen with the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cale across the screen. none of the buttons respond. The phone does not recognize the apple USB when connected. We tried holding all the buttons down at the same time and also removed the SIM card and reinserted.

If it's not being recognized while it's in recovery mode in your itunes, try this
plug the phone into the usb attached to the computer
hold down the home and sleep/wake button on top simultaneously until the phone's screen goes black
When the screen goes black, release your finger from the sleep/week button on top but continue holding the home button until you see a dialog on the itunes screen on your computer that says 'itunes has detected a device in recovery mode'
then say 'ok,' select 'restore,' and say 'restore and update'

  • HT1414 i was asked to update my ipad to the newesr version of OS7-it was like OS7.2 or whatever, and my screen is now frozen with the iTunes symbol in the middle and the connector cord profile and arrow pointing at it.  What should I do?

I was prompted to update my ipad from OS 7 to  OS 7.2 and did so.  Now my ipad is frozen with the itunes symbol in the middle of the screen and the profile of the cord with an upward arrow toward the itunes symbol.  What should I do?

Do what the picture is trying to tell you to do:  connect your iPhone to the computer you normally use to sync, and restore the iPhone from iTunes on that computer.
