HT1414 my iphone wont restore itself how to i resolve this
its an old iphone 3G it was passed down to me by my dad i think its a pretty old one and hasnt been updated for a long time... o wanted to remove eveything off the phone so i restored it but ever since it wont restore it tells me there is a problem it says there error code is 1015... how do i resolve this
Error 1015 occurs on a phone that's been jailbroken.
Jailbreaking not only voids any remaining warranty with Apple, but forfeits your right to any Assistance from Apple, including from this forum.
In addition, discussion of jailbroken phones is strictly prohibited by the Terms of Use of this forum.
You'll have to search elsewhere on the internet for assistance. It's very likely your phone is permanently hosed.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.

I fixed mine! Settings>general>cellular>cellular data. Turn cellular data off then back on. Scroll down to roaming>data roaming. Turn data roaming on. Turn voice roaming on. I messed with these 3 and it finally started searching again and activated.
I tried all kinds of combinations prior to these as all of you have. Hope it works for your phone too. I also tried restore, DFU mode, airplane mode, reboot etc. Only the above worked. -
After installing the new software to my iPhone 4S , my dream zoo either will not start or when it does it has a blank screen that has a few icons on it that wont work. How can I fix this is it possible to go back and reinstall the older software ?
Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)

I went on Itunes to install new software and backup. It has been running all night and still saying preparing Iphone for restore. How long is this suppose to take?
Preparing your iPhone for restore its supposed to be about 1-2 minutes! Do you see any errors the time you plug in the wire from your iPhone to iTunes?
