I had this problem too after i upgdatd to OS X Mavericks... only the songs on my iphone 5s that i purchased from itunes would play.
i read something about it being a syncing issue. when you plug your phone into your computer with the usb cable, the person said to switch from automatic syncing of itunes to the "manual" option. mine was already set to manual so i wasn't sure anything would work. BUT, when i plugged my phone into my computer, it started to sync all of my music on my phone again (top of itunes bar where song playing/time is listed said "now syncing 123/534 songs to x's iphone"). once that was completed, i checked the music app on my iphone and everything was back to normal!
so, i would suggest setting your music syncing settings to manual if you haven't tried that yet!

I have an iphone 3GS and had a lot of music in my itunes account. My computer died and will not even turn on. I finally got a new computer and a new iphone 4S however quite a bit of my music is not in my itunes when i put it on my new computer. is there any way to get that music off my iphone 3GS to my new computer? I have a very old Ipod probably 12 years old. It could be the first or second generation. I have music on it that I would like to put on my new one. I have not updated this Ipod since I purchased several computers ago. How do I put the music from this Ipod into my library. It is music from CDs I own. I really don't want to have to take all that time to redo that again. Can anyone tell me how to do this. I would like to update my library with this music and update this old Ipod with new music for use in my car. It works great and does what I need it to do so I can't see tying up my new Ipod or Iphone when I want to use it in my car. I appreciate any suggestions you can give me. Thanks

Restore them to the new computer using the bakcup of the old one. If you don't have a backup of the old computer, you can re-download music purchased from the iTunes store. If they were imported from CD's, etc. You will either have to re-rip them or purchase third party software to extract them from the phone. The iPhone is not a backup or data transfer device.

I've had my iPad 2 for about four years now and I can tell that the interface is being very slow and that the screen does not always react when I tap on it, meaning I may have to get a new one sooner or later.
My biggest problem is that on my iPad, I have all of the Beatles' CDs, some of which are from my own personal copies and some are from my former local public library. Ever Since I copied all these CDs onto my iPad, I've moved to a new state and got a new laptop, thus starting with an iTunes account that only has music I purchased from the iTunes Store on it, and no Beatles. The local libraries where I live now do not offer any CDs for borrowing, so I have no way of getting some of the CDs I don't own for free. I really do not want to purchase a bunch of albums from iTunes, as well.
Is there any way to get the Beatles music that is only on my iPad that was not purchased from iTunes onto my iTunes account without removing it from my iPad? Thanks for your help!

You can only transfer music from itunes to your devices and not the other way round.

You can use the Settings in the slideshow to Show Captions, either the Description filed be display, the Title field or both.
If you create the slideshow in iDVD from still photos from iPhoto you can add the Description and/or Title via the settings in iDVD.
Since iDVD adds both automatically the user must go thru the slideshow and remove those items not wanted.

Purchased content from iTunes? If so, your phone connected, iTunes running: File>Transfer Purchases. Or, you can delete the music directly on your phone: swipe left-to-right across the song/album, hit "Delete".
