There's no list available from your end. If you're out of authorizations, use the Deauthorize All function.

Migration Assit , PC to MAC - The migration was successful, but I don't know where the files are. It says they're under a different user, 'owner' . I tried to access via sys pref/system/users&groups, but it asks for a password for owner which I don't have. What must I do to access my files?

So, I have created my home sharing from my base computer to my laptop. On my lap top I see the tab for home sharing but it will not let me connect to my computer to share my music over. I have done everything iTunes has told me to but it still won't work. Any help would make my day...
I got some more info that may help.
I put a cd on my laptop, and was able to share it to my computer... So the problem is only from my computer to my laptop. I tried the firewall thing and it did not help. I read the rest of the trouble shooting page, and nothing else applies. iTunes is an execption and already was. I can not think of anything else being my problem. Do you think I should re-install iTunes or would that be a waste of time? At this point I am about to just call Apple for some help because I am getting to stressed over this.

HT4557 Need iOS 4.3 for Home Sharing
I have a 2nd gen Touch. Running iOS 4.2.1. Ckd for update. Says its current version. Need 4.3 for Home Sharing. No generation limit listed for Touch in Home Sharing support. How can I get iOS 4.3? Is it available for 2g Touch?
You didn't read my post above. I can't give you credit for the answer. Also, it appears that you are not familiar with the American idiom. I really couldn't care less what you prefer for me. You have no idea what my application is for Home Sharing.
I am able to use Home Sharing to stream my music from iTunes on my computers to my various audio systems in the digital domain, preserving the original resolution of the files. I can use the iPad Camera Connection Kit with my iPad. I then have to use a USB DAC to convert the stream to analog. Tethering my iPad to my various systems is not always convenient. My iPhone works with Home Sharing using my Wadia 170 iTansport.This eliminates the need for a USB DAC. but i don't want to tie up my phone just to play music. This is why I would like to use my 2g Touch.
I'm sure the iOS version limitation has to do with the CPU in the Touch, but it is exasperating, especially when there is conflicting information on the Apple support site about iOS 4.3 being required and then saying iOS 4.2.1 is OK with AppleTV. Also, the instructions listed for using the iOS devices are incorrect. There is no Settings>iPod selection. It is Settings>Music for iPhone, iPad, and even version 4.2.1 on the Touch. -
The MBP w/ Retina Display is 2.3GHz but the other without Retina Display is 2.6GHz. So I don't know which one would play games absolutely flawlessly. I wont have the screen resolution so high on the games though. So can someone reply and tell me which one I should get and why?
Mac's are generally not 3D gaming computers and laptops especially are not because 3D games require a upgraded video card to take advantage of newer games and more feature rich updates.
Only the Mac Pro can one change the video card, if one can find a upgrade for it.
If you really love 3D gaming, a Windows 7 3D gaming tower is your machine.

3D gaming on a Mac is sort of a second hobby, it's rather short lived as one can't replace the video card once a year, only with a new machine purchase.
Most 3D games are for Windows anyway and Apple almost demands OS X be upgraded to newer verisons annually now, so that sort of throws a monkey wrench into a Mac gaming rig with software upgrades and all. On the other hand Windows 7 is supported for a decade.
Mac's just don't work well with 3D gaming, perhaps a Win 7 tower and a iPad or something. -

anyone know how to get mail to show the photos back to you?
ex: send pictures to friends, they reply w/ comments, but have no idea which pictures they are commenting on because they do not sho up in a reply.
thanks for your helpDid you ever get a reply to this. I have the same problem. I have the same problem when even when I reply to an email... no photo shows up in my new reply message. The only way I have figured out is to use the "forward" option.
But this still does not solve the problem when people email me back... I have no idea what photo they are speaking of. Instead of a photo... there is a <photo name of some sort>.
Let me know if you ever hear on this one.

De-authorising computers for home sharing
I have had two laptops 'die' recently, and have two replacement ones. Because I have reached my 5 limit on home sharing authorised computers, itunes will not let me set up home sharing on my new laptops - it says I have to de-authorise other computers. I cannot do this because they are dead. How do I fix this - anyone????
If you need to free up authorizations, I'd do a "Deauthorize All" from one of the computers you have access to, and then reauthorize the computers you have access to.
