HT1420 how do I know which computers are authorized

Looking for help on how to know how many computers have my Itunes account as the program says I am maxed out.

Such information is not available.
About De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
Open iTunes on a computer
From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
Also, see iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

How can I identify which computers are authorized for use with I tunes?

    Hi there,
You can't see a list of your authorised computers, but you can see how many are authorised and deauthorise them individually or together.
I've found you a relevent support article which explains all of this:
iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization
    Hope this helps,

how do you know what computers are authorzed to use an I tune account?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
There is no way to view a list of authorised computers. You can only tell a computer is authorised from that computer itself, from the store menu in iTunes.

There's no list available from your end; you need to go to each you think might be and check.

  • How do I see which computers are authorized?

I am trying to find out why ITunes says that I have 3 computers listed when we only have 2 computers but I can't seem to see which individual computers are part of my account? Any thoughts? Thanks.

In order to see which devices are authorized on your account:
    Open iTunes
    Click Store
    Click Account
    Click View Account
    Enter your password
Look in the second section iTunes in the Cloud
To the far right you'll see Manage Devices
Once it's clicked you will see all of the devices currently authorized in iTunes/on your account
I was going to say, "Hope this helps," but based on the above, I'm pretty sure it did!
    Thanks guys...

  • HT1420 how do i find what computers are authorized?

Where do I find computers are authorized on my itunes account?

    BTAklund,
Some folks think there should be a command to pop out a list of authorized computers, such as "the desktop in the living room," Mary Jane's laptop," etc.  But there is no such thing.
To make it more confusing, an authorization can be used up by a computer that no longer exists, or is a duplicate of an existing computer.  (The latter case can occurs when certain repairs are done without first deauthorizing.)
Unless you have hit 5, don't worry about it.  When you hit 5, use the "Deauthorize All" command as KP suggests, and then reauthorize only the ones you are still using.

  • HT1420 How can I see which computers are currently authorised so I can decide which to reauthorise?

How can I see a list of devices which are currently authorised for itunes sharing?

You can't see a list of which computers that your account is authorised on, you can only see how many.
I'm not aware of anywhere that you can see how many computers or devices that you are currently using home sharing on - for you to be able to home share from your computer your account must be authorised on it, so you can homeshare from at most 5 computers.

  • HT1420 Apple says I have 5 authorized computers how do I know which ones are authorized?

I am trying to Authorize a computer and Apple says I already have five computers and to continue I need to deauthorize a different computer first. My question is how do I find out which PCs I may have previously authorized?

I don't think that you can see a list anywhere, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/re-authorise up to 5 computers : authorising and deauthorising.

Having difficutly getting movies and TV programs purchased from the iTunes store to play on my Apple TV Gen 1 - they appear in the library but don't transfer onto the Apple TV Gen 1; any suggestions?

You may want to ask in ATV forum. Though first gen is so old it's becoming hard to find experts on that anymore.

    You cannot.
Some people wish there was a way to print out a list of authorized computers that would look like "Suzy's laptop,  Dad's Macbook, and the desktop we threw away last year."  But there is no way to do so.
It is especially confusing, since a single machine may be using up multiple authorizations.  Also, authorizations may be used up by machines that do not even exist any more.
If you are at the limit, you can use the Deauthorize All command,  and then reauthorize just the ones you need.

  • How can I know which clients are connected to my network through express and which are connected through extreme?

I have an airport express extending, through wireless, a network provided by an airport extreme. How can I know which clients are connected to my network through express and which are connected through extreme?
Here you can see both routers:
I would expect to some clients connected to the express, other than the extreme. And that's all I see: only the airport extreme appears as client of the airport express.
Below, one can see the summary of the config for both routers.
    Would somebody explain it?
    Thanks,
    Marcelo

    HI nilhanw,
No currently there is not manage devices, only manage device. However changing the password will change the certificates on all the devices within less of an hour.
    I hope this helps.

Log into iTunes from your desktop. (Sign in upper right corner of iTunes page.)
On your user name/e-mail (upper right corner) use the drop down menu and select account.
    Select manage your devices.
    That's it folks ....
