I have benn trying to upgrade my itouch operating system, but I can't seem to. When I do the whole process of authorizing my computer then go to transfer my purchases It says that I have to authorize the computer, the thing is that it is already authorized. Even when I have try what seems to me like a hundred times it still wont work. Can someone give me especifique instruccions on what I can do?

Did you install iTunes?
Once downlaoded, iTunes should have installed, and open once installed.
If its not open you can look for it in your Start Menu in Windows or Finder in Mac.

If you're using iTunes 11 click on the box icon in the top-left corner to see the " Show Menu Bar "
and from the Menu Bar select Store...
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer.

Did you use different Apple IDs purchasing your content? If so, you need to activate your Mac with all existing Apple IDs... even the ones you don't use anymore. This should do.
In iTunes go to Menubar and click on "Store" -> Activate this computer

you can try this: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the Mac OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Does it still freeze after a few minutes?

Via the Store menu in iTunes. If you have iTunes 11, which for some unfathomable reason hides the menus by default, press Control-B and you'll then see the menus.

HT1926 I received an error message after trying to install the update of itunes. Now I can't even open up my itunes. When I tried to download itunes again it showed it was already a file. Still can't get into my music. What should I do?

I received a notice to download a newer version of itunes. After starting the process of downloading I got an error message which then suggested I try to download itunes again. Even after 10.8.2 update, STILL can't connect to Game Center

Have tried all of the "tricks" posted here. Was really hoping this update would cure the ill, but noooooooooooo. Get stuck after login, accept terms/conditions and create nickname. Clicking submit on that screen just gets me the interminable "Saving ....." I have to "cancel" to get out of Game Center. Awfully frustrating.

After updating itunes to new version 10.6.17, suddenly i can't connect to itunes store.
When i run diagnostic test, it said "secure link to itunes store failed"
When i click the help button, it said "iTunes Help is unavailable because your computer isn’t connected to the Internet."
But there is nothing wrong with the connections, i still can browse and play online games.
What should i do, anyone can help me?
