What do you mean by 'registered it on iTunes' ? You've authorised your account on your Mac's iTunes via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option ? And you've copied your library onto the Mac ?

Some calendars in iCal appear corrupted (ie have red exclamation mark by them) but are still OK on iPhone. IMO - and we are all entitled to our own opinions - I prefer to use iTunes. Heaven forbid if Apples servers ever go down - there will be mass hysteria and I have seen too many cases of "I just tried to restore from my iCloud backup and it have 8 gazillion app icons on the screen that say "waiting" - but once again - this is only my opinion.
And if you lose your Internet connection in the middle of an iCloud restore - what then? Nobody thinks of that kind of stuff - but hey - that's what makes this whole exchange of ideas so wonderful. We can all express our own opinions .... but that does not help you solve your situation.
What exactly is happening when you try to sync with iTunes? Maybe somebody can offer help instead of just useless opinions that do nothing to resolve your situation. -
I have a mid 2010 Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard and foolishly upgraded to Yosemite. Now have numerous problems. Is it possible to go back in time with Time Machine and reinstall Snow Leopard? Then upgrade to Lion or Mavericks? Any other ideas on how I can exit Yosemite?
Once you get yourself back to Snow Leopard, if you still want to upgrade somewhat, I would suggest the following:
1. Get an external hard drive that you can use for experiments with new OS versions. You could partition it into 2 or 3 partitions. You could then clone your existing Snow Leopard system to one partition using Carbon Copy Cloner (well worth $40) or SuperDuper ($25).
2. Buy OS X Mountain Lion for $20, through the Apple online store (I don't think it's available through the App Store). Apple has decided to make it very difficult for anyone to get Mavericks unless they have already downloaded it.
You will receive two e-mails from Apple, one containing a PDF with a redemption code, and one with the password you will need to unlock the PDF. Using the code, you will download Mountain Lion from the App Store, where it will appear among your Purchased items.
After ML finishes downloading, its installer app will launch itself. When you see this launch screen, QUIT the install app immediately! Go to your applications folder, find the Install OS X Mountain Lion app, and copy it to a safe location outside of your Applications folder. Keeping one or more copies will allow you to reinstall without unnecessary aggravation if you later need or want to do that. At this point, you can re-launch the Installer in the Applications folder and let it run. You can install it on a clean partition on your external HD, or you can allow it to upgrade the Snow Leopard clone you created on your external drive, or you can do both. This should allow you to test how everything works for as long as you like.
3. If you left yourself a free partition on your test drive, try a clean install of Yosemite and set everything up from scratch (do not migrate anything). This will allow you to see whether your problems with it were related to something in your Snow Leopard system. -

JJAs I was saying earlier that is not possible because the Apple TV has no accessible storage and streaming from your iMac is done via home sharing on your local network.
iTunes purchases can be accessed via the cloud on Apple TV. If you have iTunes Match you can access your full music libary from the cloud.
Using the iPad to watch your films would require syncing them and then connecting the iPad to a TV. -

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

I am U.S. iPhone 4S owner traveling in China. Data speed is too slow to be usable. Verizon says that is because iPhone 4S connects to strongest signal, even if slowest (virtually non-existent) data network. Does anyone know how to work around this design flaw?
I spent 2 months in china with my old iphone 3gs. Both China Unicomm and China Mobile were accessible through my US phone. (for you other users, yes my phone bill was sky high, but it's a small price to pay when you get instant access to your wife while you are gone... and to be able to use the google translate app). I had a GSM phone (obviously) and had the ability to choose what carrier I wanted my phone to connect to (the same thing was available when I was in italy as well).

general-> network> then there was a new field (that does not normally show up when in the US) that listed the available networks to connect to. my phone always attempted china unicomm first, and switched to china mobile only when unicomm was unavailible.
but if wjosten is correct (and i imagine he is), cdma phones may not be able to choose what network to connect to. -

iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, or iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize your Mac with your iTunes account with iTunes.
With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. -
The computer is not connecting to Itunes. Its is saying that the file that is in there has a error of 07/13 . Also my laptop is not being allowed to connect say it is not authorize and I am allow tow computers by the account ID.
Maybe you purchased some of the other songs using a different itunes account.

Content Barrier...any other ideas for blocks??
I have had SOOO many problems with my content barrier... when it works it's great, but my computer had some issues this past week and everything had to be reinstalled... long story short, it's not filtering anything EXCEPT for SPECIFIC url's... I can't possibly enter every single inappropiate url manually into the preferences.
Any suggestions. I have to call long distance to talk with a real person, no 800# at Intego, so far they havent fixed anything for me AND they said I couldnt use Firefox with CB... so I would have to take it off of my dock so my kids couldnt access it! I want my money back, any one having the same issues?Hi
