HT1420 I have a problem, iTunes keeps asking me to authorize my computer!
I authorized my computer to play certain songs from my library from my old iTunes ID and it says that I have authorized this computer successfully. However, when I try to play it it prompts me that I need to authorize the computer and every time I authorize it i try to play it and the prompt pops back up! any solutions??

iTunes keeps prompting me to authorize my computer then tells me it's already authorized and I'm stuck in a loop. The troubleshooting options haven't worked. Any suggestions or does anybody have a phone number for iTunes so I can talk to a human being about this?

I have recently changed my apple id and password. When i try to access music that i bought on itunes on an external hard drive, it asks me to authorize my computer with my old apple id? can anyone help?
Please try to sign in at https://appleid.apple.com
Check if your new username/email address is verfied
If this works, delete your account on your iPhone (Settings > iCloud)

Whenever I sync my iPhone 5S, the iTunes will ask me to authorise my computer, iMac. So I will go the 'Store' on menu bar to click it. and scroll down to Authorise my computer and click it. And It will say - your authorisation is successful. After that I go and sync my iPhone, and a window will popped out and said I need to authorise my computer again. Can someone help me to resolve this issue. ThanksI am having this problem too also new I Tunes recognises my Iphone Ipod Touch but not my Ipod classic and it has now errors - managed to restore this on my tablet but it still won't sync to library nightmare

I have the new 5s and I'm trying to get ALL my music on it but it keeps prompting me to authorize my computer. (which I have done multiple times) I have all my purchased music on the phone already but it won't let me sync all my other music that I have on my iTunes.

Okay, so I lost my iPhone 4S and got a new iPhone 5S.
I restored everything from my backup, but when I try to sync it with my Windows 8 laptop,
it keeps stopping at snyc stage: transferring purchases.
A pop-up shows up and tells me that my iPhone cannot be synced because
it is not authorized, and trust me, i have authorized it countless times and the same thing keeps happening.
I have read the iTunes support for this sympotm and tried everything on it but wow
it is incredibly frustrating because nothinig is working.
Heck, it even tells me every time I authorize it that "it is already authorized."
THEN I DON'T YOU SYNC IT.
I need help. Please.

I synced my iPod Classic this morning. As soon as I did, a pop-up said that unless I authorize the computer it would delete all the movies on my player. I went ahead and did it. Then it said I now have authorized 2 computers and have a few left remaining.

Why, oh why, whenever I try to play certain songs in iTunes does it say to me "you must authorize this computer to play this song". So, then I sign in with my username and password, and iTunes tells me that it my computer is "already authorized". It still won't play the songs!

Keep asking me to authorize the computer
"The Iphone cannot be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iphone."
I tried to re-authorize the computer at the store and it did said this computer is already authorized. But however the same message is keep popping up when I tried to sync my musics.

Does anyone know where the authorize this computer link is? I have followed all the instructions and it does not give me the option. I have the latest version and I have no devices and I am not under the 90 lock out
Ctrl B to turn on the top menu.
Then from that menu select

any ideasThere's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -
Basically what I said above. It won't authorize no matter what I do! I really need help.

I'm having this same issue as well even though my PC is already authorized and after trying the 4 suggested fixes with an Audiotrack that I purchased today...Beth Moore - Esther Series - Session 2 - Part 4.
It's also not allowing me to put the track on my iPod even though other files on the same album go on just fine. It's giving me an error stating that it's an "invalid file format".
