I just activated a new computer and noneof my songs will play

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

  • I just added a CD to my ipod and none of the songs will play.

    It just skips through all of them, but it plays fine on itunes... HELP!

    Does this only happen with the tracks from this new album? What format were they ripped as? MP3/AAC?  You can check by right->clicking on one of those tracks in iTunes and choose Get Info. Then under the Summary tab, look at the Kind and Bitrate fields.

    Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
    While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
    If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

    In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
    To deauthorize a computer you don't have:
    De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
    You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
    You may only do this once per year.
    After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
    If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

    Sounds like you have accidentally unchecked all items. In the Songs view ctrl-click on any empty checkbox.

  • HT1550 i have the newest version of itunes and none of that works!!! i dont know where the advanced menu is and i dont think you can select a song anymore

    I have the newest version of iTunes and none of that works!!! I don't know where the Advanced Menu is. And I don't think you can select a song anymore. I need to make WAV Files to put them on Windows Media Player so i can download music on my Samsung Intensity 2.

    Try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then try to restore. For recovery mode:
    iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
    If iTunes still does not see the iPod try:

  • My computer is authorized yet one song wont play and says it needs authorization what do i do

    i just bought a song and when I try to play it it says my computer needs to be authorized. When I hit authorize, it says my computer is already authorized yet thie song still wont play because it still says computer needs to be authorized. Whats wrong

    The song appears to be corrupt. Delete and redownload it if doing so is free in your country.

  • I synced my iPhone to iTunes and NONE of my music will play, just the purchased ones.. Why?

    So I synced my phone to my laptop, transfered all 192 songs that used to be on it, went to play them and nothing. There is just this stupid red round circle with a square in the middle of it next to my music. The only ones that work are the ones that I purchased. PLEASE HELP?!?!

    Congratulations on your new Mac!  It sounds like your purchased songs are not playing completely after you downloaded them.  I recommend to following steps for an issue like this:
    Symptoms
    Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.
    Resolution
    If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
    Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
    Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
    Download your previously purchased song from this list.

I found Rxmindme 02.11.00 ipa, (ios App) in my computer but when I try to open it the itune program opens. I see the app in the program and it says its downloaded ------But now what do I do ?----- Please help Ive wanted this type app for a long time to remind me to take all the pills I get from VA hospital..     Apps for the iPhone do not run on Windows. You will need the iPhone to run the app.

  • Some songs will play and others won't

    I have a lot of music that plays fine, but there are also a good percentage that won't play. Shortly after I refurnished my OS drive with a Backup copy some of my songs wouldn't play. Do I have corrupted music files? Please help! I am in dire need of some assistance. I have already deauthored and reauthored my HD still no resolution. Also my music files are on a different HD from the OS HD.

    Well, could you maybe give a little more detailed information? What do you mean by "don't play"? When you click on them, what happens exactly? Are they all songs from the iTunes Music Store? etc....

    If the ENTIRE iTunes folder was moved or copied from the old computer to the new computer, then everything is there.
    Simply open iTunes by holding SHIFT while double clicking on the iTunes icon and then point iTunes to the iTunesLibrary.itl file.
