HT1420 Itunes says my iPhone5 cant be synced because the computer is no longer autorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone. My PC is authorized and my iPhone synced before I reloaded Windows.

My itnes says my iPhone5 can't be synced because the PC is no longer authorized for purchased items on my phone. It worked before Win-7 was reloaded.
I had deauthorized and reauthorized iTunes. Ideas?? - Thanks.
I do have the same problem too. I don't know recently updated itunes to 11.1 and today I tried to install a free app and this message occurs no matter what I ve tried.
I dont want to perform a master reset to iPhone yet... hope apple will come up with a fix.

the apple service helped me actually
the best and the esiest way is to solve this problem :
create a new account (as an administator recomended)
Bonjour servises must be enabled ( go to control panel > administartive tools> sevices> Bounjour services (change the category to large icons if you dont see administartive tools )
install itunes
sign in
authorize
SYNC
it must sync normally
but if the meesage pops up that points on a particular items that could not be synced ( to ur itunes because you are not authorized for this items ) REMOVE THEM
creating a new user account shows the items wich dont let you sync your iPhone
after you REMOVE those **** items that were not authorised , you can go to your old user account and SYNC it as old kind time
was having this problem 2 weeks , and nothing helped except this was. not deleting the SC Info folder, now copying apple folder to some other mobile divce folder
REMEMBER the problem is in your iPhone , it is about the items that are in your iPhone

Hi all I am trying to swap my music over from my mac to phone but not having any luck . Although my mac is authorised it keeps saying that its not. I have de authorised it then re done it but still the same . Not up to doing anything drastic and have heard some horror stories about loosing all contacts while messing about with back ups and cant afford to have that happen to me . Ideas anyone ??

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod has your purchased content from the iTunes Store, you can transfer the content to a computer that is authorized for your Apple ID.
Note: This option only works for content you purchased from the iTunes Store (as opposed to content from other sources, such as CDs you may have imported). For content you did not purchase from the iTunes Store, synchronization occurs in one direction only. This means your content can be copied from a computer to your iOS device, but cannot be copied from your device to a computer.
Open iTunes.
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer.
Enter your Apple ID and password. Then, click the Authorize button.
Connect your device your computer. If it is synced with another iTunes library, you may be asked if you want to "Erase and Sync" or "Transfer Purchases."
If that alert appears, click Transfer Purchases.
Important: Clicking Erase and Sync will delete any existing content currently on your device. The content would then be replaced with the content that is on the computer.
If you were not offered the option to transfer purchases:
After connecting your device to the computer, its icon appears in iTunes. Click the icon.
From the File > Devices menu, choose "Transfer Purchases from 'Your device name.'"
Note that the computer must be authorized for the Apple ID under which the purchases were made.

I am trying to synch my iPhone 5S and iTunes for the first time since upgrading. I get the following error message: The iPhone ... could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone. To be clear, all I want to do is take the media on my Windows 7 PC and put on my iPhone. When I authorize my PC, I receive a message that the PC is authorized (making 2 of 5 authorized computers).
All of the iTunes purchases were purchased under the same Apple ID, I've never had another Apple ID. Some of the PC media is Amazon mp3 purchases, but this has never been a problem in the past. I have the latest iTunes installed.
I tried to fix the problem doing the following:
1. Authorizing my computer, retrying to sync.
2. Logging into iTunes on my PC, then authorizing the PC, then syncing.
3. Not an Administrator account issue (my login is the Admin account)
4. I turned off user account controls in Win7
5. I removed the SC Info folder in iTunes
Very frustrating, I've been working on this issue for the past several days. After purchasing a 5S, with a high end PC/Win7, and the latest version of iTunes, I shouldn't have to make such an effort to access my purchased content. Please help.I found the solution in another post. By deleting all my apps, I was able to sync the phone. I hope I don't have to delete all my apps every time I want to sync my phone, but at least now I am able to sync my phone.

I first called apple and they patched me to a technician who ran a test and determined that I had a virus. He gave me some price quotes and who to call. After my conversation with him, which I knew was BS btw, I immediatley called Geek Squad with whom my computer has a warranty through after they installed virus software on my new laptop (4 months old). I had a VERY long online session where they ran several virus test and found nothing. Although I was VERY happy that my computer didn't have a virus, I still had the problem of my itunes not working. After several hours, he made sure that all of my apps were down loaded, and then restored my iphone to factory settings, and sync my device. It worked perfectly and all and I mean ALL 240 apps were downloaded back onto my iphone along with my music and all of my tones. When asked why my itunes was acting in that manner the answer that I got was,"...apparently you had a correct file some where in itunes and everything had to be reset". Regardless, everything is back to normal and I don't have to get a new phone or delete itunes from my computer. Hope this helps!

I have a problem with my itunes. I cannot transfer apps from the itunes to my iphone 4s. Any time I try to snyc itunes tells me "The iphone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iphone. But anytime I authorize it tells me you have authorized including this computer 2 out 5 computers. And if I try again the same story over and over again. I am unable to sync my music, applications, movies, etc. to my iPod touch. The only way I am able to bypass the message that pops out when I try to sync (the one in the title) is by clicking "Apply" instead of "Sync". To do this, I make changes to Apps, Music, or Movies (...) and the buttons "Revert" and "Apply" will replace the button "Sync".
My problem is most likely not due to using many accounts because I only have one and it is the only one that I use. I do not share accounts with my family members. Still, I have tried everything here, nothing has worked for me. Since I don't often listen to Podcasts, I have deleted them from my iPod. I have no idea why I am unable to sync and no one seems to have the same problem as me.

Hi everyone.
I have a reoccuring issue when trying to sync my iPhone 5 to my Mac OS X 10.9.2 (all softwares are up-to-date). Everytime I try to sync my iPhone to my Mac a message pops up saying: "The iPhone "Jennifer" could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone".
I then followed the instructions provided with that pop up message by clicking STORE > AUTHORIZE THIS COMPUTER > LOG IN. But even when I do that, it still does not fix the solution.
I also tried signing in and out of my apple account, deauthorizing & reauthorizing my MAC, restarted my MAC & iPhone... now I have no idea what to do!
If someone knows the solution please help! I truly appreciate it.
