HT1420 no authorize computer option in itunes store
i do not see the option to "authorize my computer" in the itunes store home page. I think it could be my constant guard software hiding something, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Can't find authorize computer option in itunes store?
Trying to add my laptop as an authorized computer but i can't find the authorize computer option in the iTunes store nor the advanced menu. Tried to edit in account profile but that is the only setting in the account profile it won't allow me to edit. Any suggestions or am I just simply overlooking something?
Nevermind, i was overlooking the store option at the top of itunes menu bar not the itunes store

It is not actually in the iTunes Store, it is in the Store menu of iTunes.
To authorize, go to the Store menu item on the iTunes menu bar, and choose "Authorize This Computer..." as shown below.
If by any chance you don't see the menu bar ("File, Edit, View, Controls, Store, Help"), first enable it by using CTRL+B. -

Hi, iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases.
Hi,
iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorizecomputer to play iTunes Store purchases.
I have the latest iTunes on a PC (WindowsVista).
I try to play a song from iTunes andit tells me I'm not authorized and prompts me for my password. This authorizesthe computer but when I try to play the same (or any previously purchased) songI still get the same error and re-prompt for password.
I have tried thefollowing:
1. Authorize mypurchases from an administrator account.
2. Authorize usingthe correct account name.
3. Turn Off UserAccount Controls.
4. Remove the SCInfo folder.
And this http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
5. Installed the new iTunes
6. I have double-checked that themusic was purchased by me by right clicking and hitting Info.
7. I havede-authorized this PC and re-authorized (which it confirms) it to the same effect.
The number ofPC's authorized is only 1, this one.
I do not know what else to try?
Any help would be appreciated! If you haven't already, have a look at this support article,

My ITunes sore account repeatedly prompts to authorize computer. I have deauthorized and reauthorized computer. I only have one computer authorized. I have changed the user account controls per instructions. I have removed the SC Info folder per instructions for Windows 7 and nothing works. Everything was working fine a few days ago.
I have now checked my purchaes and when I check the video info by going to File/Get Info, I notice that some of the most recent purchases do not list my apple id whereas previous purchaes do.
How do I correct this? -
Can someone help me find the article number?
Seems you found it yourself, it's the same article from which your question was posted.

ITunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
I followed all of the instructions on this page and iTunes still won't play 3 of the 5 songs I just purchased. Each time I try to play them I get the pop-up saying that my computer isn't authorized. I put my ID and password in and it tells me my computer IS already authorized but when I try to play the song again the pop-up comes back. I'm using Windows Vista. I have only one user account and it is an administrator account. I've made sure the username matches, although I only have one username so how could it not be. I turned off and on the User Account Controls. I deleted the SC Info folder. I've sent an email to Apple but any other help in the meantime would be appreciated!http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

Where can i fond the authorize my computer option in itunes?
Can someone explain where to find the authorize my computer option in itunes please?
Under the Store menu in iTunes. If you have iTunes 11, which for some unfathomable reason hides the menus by default, press Control-B and you'll then see the menus.

I am trying to authorize a computer. But I can't locate the"authorized this computer" on the iTunes store menu. I can't find it under any topics across the menu bar at the top of the page. Can anyone help me find it? Thanks.
It should be on the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (if you are using iTunes 11 on a PC then try pressing Alt-S and see if it appears) e.g. (screenshot is from iTunes on a Mac)
