What if I dont have the other computers to deactivate

About De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
  1. Open iTunes on a computer
  2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
  5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
Also, see iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.

what if i dont have the right sim card? like i have a regular at&t sim card

So, What if I currently use a ATT 3GS and I order the 4S. Will I need to get a different sim card? I don't know what the sim in my phone is called. Micro or Mini....  Question #2, assuming I need a new SIM to fit in the 4S. Will Apple send one with or give option to include one when I preorder? thanks

  • HT4972 What if I dont have the computer I normally use to synch or backup

What happens if I dont have the computer I normally synched to or backed up anymore?

    What happens with what?
    Can you be more specific?
You should copy everything from the old comptuer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to the new one.

  • HT1420 what if i dont have any of the computers anymore

so my itones is telling me that i have aready have 5 comuters used on back up my itones what can i do if i dont have any of the computers?

If you have access to at least one of the computers, I'd do a "Deauthorise All" from that computer, and then reauthorise the computers that you still have access to.

  • TS1292 What if i dont have the recipt from the purchase?

I was just given an itunes gift card from a friend and there was no reciept given to me and i doubt my friend still has it. What do i do then?

If you are getting an 'invalid' error message then was the iTunes card issued in the same country as your account is based ? They are only valid in their country of issue.
If you are getting an 'inactive' error or you can't read the code and the page that you posted from doesn't help then you will need to try contacting iTunes support (you will need to give them the serial number and activation code from the card) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes

  • What if I dont have the Apple ID that I used for the original purchase

    Having trouble playing certain albums

If the original Apple ID wasn’t one of yours, yes.
If the original Apple ID was one of yours but is inaccessible, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

What does the message say, exactly?
    Try this:
From the Finder's Go menu, choose Computer:
Double-click your hard disk icon. It is usually named "Macintosh HD":
    Look for this folder:
If it appears in that window, drag it to the Trash.

  • HT201263 hey guys i forgot the password for my iphone 4S and i keep on trying any passwords but now my iphone has deactivated it self and its asking me the password but i cant remember it and i dont have the last compter it syniced with!!! so what should

hey guys i forgot the password for my iphone 4S and i keep on trying any passwords but now my iphone has deactivated it self and its asking me the password but i cant remember it and i dont have the last compter it syniced with!!! so what should i do ?

In your case your only solution is to restore it ( see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 ) and you may need to force it into restore mode to do that.  This will wipe everything off it and reset it as new, without the passcode.  You can then redownload purchased content, buy unless you have a sync'd copy of your contacts and photo's they will be gone.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

the itunes library .itl fileis locked on a locked disk, or you dont have the write permission for this file.  this is what it says every time i try and open itunes why ?

    Sounds like a permission issue.
Navigate to the iTunes Music Library.itl file
    The path should be Username/Music/iTunes/
Right click on the iTunes Library.itl and select Get Info
The window will open on the left hand side. Go to the Sharing and Permissions section at the bottom
Click the padlock to allow changes and enter your Mac logon password
Select yourself and make sure you have Read & Write selected. Click padlock to lock it again
Close the Get Info window and try and start iTunes

Purchase iLife 11 (includes iDVD) ON DISK.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.

Irrelevant.  You have a bill of sale, not an original point-of-purchase sale receipt, which is the only thing that Apple would accept regarding Activation Lock issues.
Why can't you contact the previous owner, if you have a bill of sale?  For a bill of sale to be legal in any way, it would have to have some information from the previous owner.
