HT1430 I cannot get email on my ipod touch, even though it is connected to wi-fi.

I have used my ipod touch in Italy and Wales, as well othe rparts of the UK to access my emails. Now I have been in Frnace for over a week and Ihave not got any emails in that time. The message reads 'not connected to the sever'.
Any ideas about what I can do?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

Thank you for asking your question! It sounds like you are unable to send or recieve email from the account you setup in the Mail app on your iPad. I want to recommend the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article:

Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

If your iTunes is set on manual sync, then you have to manually drag and drop. Otherwise every time yousyncyou'll get all changes even if you don't want it.

Well, now I feel like an idiot. I was using TWO CORDS. Ya, don't make my mistake. The one I had a problem with was made by a company that was not apple, and it was for CHARGING. I bought it with charger, and that's all it can do. It doesn't send data like the real cable. So, check your usb cables. :S

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.

HT1430 I cannot get email on the ipad, although I still get mail on my iPhone.

Have been getting email with no problem for eight months. Still get mail ok on the iPhone, but not on the pad. Apple claims my service period has expired, even though the pad is less than a year old (4 months less)

Cannot get facebook scrabble on ipod touch .

Words with friends works fine. Same games showing on laptop and ipod. But scrabble won't load properly. I've deleted it and downloaded it again numerous times and it keeps starting anew and only allows random players. Cannot get synched with FB games.

Cannot send email from icloud, iPod touch w/ iOS 5

i Opened up an icloud account for my daughter. I set it up on her iPod touch as well. When I log into iCloud on the web, click mail I can send an email but I can't receive an email. the error message states ( from my ipad for example when I send her an emil) that the recipient (daughters email addy) was rejected by server because the user is unknown. Anyone with any ideas that may help

I have been having the same problems for the last two days now. It won't let me send, but it will let me save it to my drafts folder. I even tried opening the e-mail form my iPhone 5 and it won't let me send it there either. The last two times i ended up copying the contents from my failed e-mail on my phone and pasting that into a new e-mail and that works. I normally use the icloud web app to reply to e-mails when i'm at work (using win 7) and it is very frustrating.

ok so i got the ipod touch 4th gen 8gb for christmas and it was perfect for like 2 days, i was connecting to my cousins wifi home internet with no problems and going on safari and app store, now i am back home and the only internet i have is a laptop with a pay as you go modem which is fine and works perfect on the laptop.
so i tried setting up a ad hoc network on my laptop so i could connect my ipod to the internet and it actually worked pretty good at first !
but now i am connecting to the network on the ipod and it says i have full signal yet when i go on safari or app store an error pops up "safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet"

Previously, I had been connecting to my home Wifi, which it Linksys, just fine. When I came home, I "connected" to it again like normal, but then I went to Safari and it said*: +"Safari cannot open page because it is not connected to the Internet."+ *What really confused me is that up in the top left corner next to where it says "iPod" it shows the Wifi connected with full signal. My brothers have 3rd generation iPod Touches, also both 64 gb, and they are connecting to the home Wifi perfectly. I don't know if it was the hotel Wifi that somehow messed up my iPod, but it certainly isn't working at my house. I have restored my iPod, but i haven't yet "forgotten" the network or restarted my router. I have read other messages and that is what it seems like I should do. They have an apple store in my town and I am wondering if I should take my iPod there to see if I could get it fixed or replaced. I am just very glad that it seems like this is a common problem.*

Can't add music to ipod touch even though computer and itunes recognize it

I have an ipod touch 4th generation that has suddenly stopped allowing me to add any music to it. It worked absolutely great with no problems for about a year and suddenly when I load it up on itunes I can't add any music to it at all. if I try and drag any music from my computer on to it, I get this no icon as you can see
Same if I try and add music from my itunes library.
I've done pretty much everything I can think of to try and fix this, I've completely wiped itunes from my computer and re-installed, I've made sure that my ipods ios is up to date, I've reset my ipod, I've completely erased my ipod and restored it to factory settings. I have an old backup but it fails every time I try and restore it, saying that the backup session failed. I've tried resetting the lockdown folder as recommended but when I delete it, itunes can't connect to my ipod, so I ended up restoring the lockdown folder back to where it was from my trash can. I've made sure all my drivers are up to date and my computer is AMD so i know its not an intel chipset/ipod issue. I've turned off my antivirus and computer security programs and that made no difference at all.
These problems are the same when tried on another computer and I'm sure I've done other things as well but I'm drawing a blank trying to think them up.
I have an old ipod mini that has absolutely no problems at all using the same itunes and computer so I'm pretty sure this issue is located just on this ipod. I bought it used on amazon so the warranty and service coverage have already expired, so I kinda have to figure out how to fix it myself..

I don't see how it could be windows causing the issue since my other ipod works fine with this installation of windows on this computer and I don't at the moment have anyway to back up what I have on my computer in order to re-install windows, but maybe if nobody else has another solution I'll look into it.
